1. Charwin & Davies’ Jarno Bcoz Its My Time at Debbollinby. Just 6 mths and most promising, appealing for overall type, well off for bone and good to go over. Strong neck of correct length to balance, firm backline, brisket of good depth, pleasing ribbing for age, muscular loin, moderate slope to croup and tail correct for length and set. Head of good proportions, moderate stop, eyes of good colour, ears set on high and correct dentition. Moving well on the go around and nice and firm behind and scoring over 2 when coming towards. Best Puppy Dog.
2. Ross’ Debbollinby Clansman. 11 mth old who is upstanding and presented a pleasing outline. Slightly arched neck of good length, firm straight back, rib developing well for age, muscular loin, correct slope to croup and tail pleased for set and carriage. Nicely proportioned head, slight arch to front of skull, ears set on high, decent eyes and scissor bite. On the move he covers the ground with pleasing carriage but could be cleaner on the down and back.

1. Bodle’s Debbollinby Time Lord by Lionsridge JW. This was a rather varied class with some very different males competing. For me this 2 yr old scored for type and was very good hands on. He presented such a good outline with strong, slightly arched neck, firm level topline, brisket reaches the elbows and ribs are well sprung, well-muscled loin and moderately sloping croup leading to tail of correct set and carriage. Quality head with masculine expression; good skull to muzzle proportions, pleasing eye, ears set on high and good dentition. I liked his angles front and rear and on the move, he opens up well on the go around.
2. Burrell’s Kalizmar The Hitch Hiker. This 2 yr old is quite different to the winner but also has lots to like. Balanced in outline with moderately long neck which is slightly arched, firm through the backline, good depth to chest, excellent ribbing, muscular loin, moderate slope to croup and tail good for length, set and carriage. Masculine headpiece with good skull to muzzle ratio, touch more breadth of skull than winner, good eye and ear and correct dentition. He is well off for bone and has good angulation both ends, elbows are close to the body and he stands on very good feet. Gaiting well when viewed in profile, just a touch closer going away.
3. Bell’s Cleon Canis Giganotos

1. Moore’s Hillhaven From Russia With Love Ir Jch. 20 mth old who has much to like and he was so good to go over. Appealing for type, all male yet with the desired elegance of the breed. Super neck which is slightly arched, firm straight back, chest of good depth, excellent ribbing, muscular loin, correct slope to croup and tail pleased for set and carriage. First class head and expression; correct breadth to skull, medium stop, good eye and ear, muzzle of correct length to balance and good dentition. Well laid shoulders, elbows close to the body and standing on good feet. Covers the ground with ease and carries himself well and also pleased when coming and going. Good texture to coat.
2. Simmonds’ Skjaergaardens Dance Monkey Dance JW (Imp Nor). This 21 mth old is quite different to the winner and still to mature but he also appealed for balance and overall outline. Slightly arched neck of good length, firm level back, brisket reaches the elbows, good length to ribcage, muscular loin, moderate slope to croup and tail just right for length, set and carriage, however I would just like a touch more breadth all through. He has a most attractive head and expression with good skull to muzzle proportions, good eyes for shape and colour, ears are set on high and correct dentition. He has particularly good side gait but couldn’t quite match the down and back action of winner.
3. Amesbury’s Morwinas Yggdrasdil Nui

1. Charwin’s Debbollinby Sleeping Lion. 3 yr old who was shown to advantage here and certainly cannot be overlooked. Undoubtedly male, yet with the essential elegance of the breed, carrying good bone and shown with excellent muscle-tone. Slightly arched neck of correct length to balance, firm through the topline, brisket reaches the elbows which are held close to the chest, correct ribbing, well-muscled loin, moderate slope to croup and tail pleased for length, set and carriage. Quality head with good skull to muzzle proportions, moderate stop, eyes good for shape and colour, ears set on high, slight arch to muzzle and scissor bite. I liked his angles front and rear, forelegs are straight, feet are tight and point directly forwards and he also pleased in forechest. When viewed in profile, he covers the ground so well and has such good carriage and he also pleased when coming and going. CC & BOB.
2. Germain’s Simden Broadway Your Song. This 2 yr old was another full of quality and he was very good to go over. Masculine, carrying good bone and substance, yet elegant as required and presented here is superb coat and condition. Excellent neck which is slightly arched, firm level back, good depth to chest, first class ribbing, strength to loin, moderately sloping croup and tail of good length and set and acceptable carriage. Balanced headpiece with front of skull slightly arched, super eye and ear, correct stop, slight arch to muzzle and good dentition. Shoulders well laid, elbows close to the body and stands true in front with a very good forechest. When gaiting, he opens up so well on the go around and has stylish carriage. RCC.

1. Simpson’s Debbollinby Crafty Ideas for Simberger. What a lovely class this was with some very promising pups present. This 11 mth old was my winner and she very much appealed and was good hands on. Neck of correct length to balance, firm backline, good depth to chest, rib developing just as it should, muscular loin, moderate slope to croup and tail set on just right and of pleasing carriage. Most attractive head, totally feminine, with good skull to muzzle proportions, good eye and ear, medium stop and correct dentition. She has correct angulation front and rear, elbows are held close to the chest and she stands well naturally in front on nice tight feet. Gaiting freely on the go around and very well handled to take Best Puppy.
2. Macgregor’s Hillhaven Made in Heaven. Three 7 mth old litter sisters took the next three placings here and what a lovely litter it was! This girl came in second and she too has so much to like and should give her owner some fun times in the ring. Feminine throughout with the elegance of the breed, she presented a nicely balanced outline with strong neck of correct length, topline just fine for age, good depth to chest, rib developing well, firm loin, moderate slope to croup and tail pleased for set and carriage. Balanced headpiece with feminine expression; good eye and ear, slight arch to muzzle and scissor bite. When settled she moved freely all through and was certainly enjoying her day out!
3. Bamford’s Hillhaven You Take My Breath Away

1. Charwin & Bodle’s Debbollinby Charbella. 17 mth old who still has some maturing to do as you would expect but she should go on to do very well given her correct construction and lovely outline. Moderately long neck which is slightly arched, firm level back, brisket still to fully develop, muscular loin, moderate slope to croup and tail correct for length, set and carriage. Feminine headpiece with correct skull, expressive eyes, ears set on high, medium stop, muzzle proportionate in length to that of skull and scissor bite. She is well made both front and rear, stands true in front on tight feet and pleased for forechest too. Coming towards she has the best of fronts, goes well behind and also opened up well when viewed in profile.
2. McLay’s Debbollinby Canoodling. 11 mth old who was placed down the line in the previous class but certainly not to her detriment as she too has much to like. Feminine all through, she presented a very good outline with correct length of neck to give balance, topline to settle a touch, good depth to chest, pleasing rib, well-muscled loin, correct croup and tail set and carried just right. Nicely proportioned head with medium stop, ears set on high, eyes of good colour, slight arch to muzzle and scissor bite. Pleasing angulation front and rear and on the move, she goes well on the go around and is good coming towards, however winner had the edge when going away.

1. Thomas’ Jandikas Magic. This 2 yr old was a comfortable winner in this class for me. Nicely balanced with slightly arched, muscular neck, firm through the topline, pleasing rib, deep brisket, well-muscled loin, correct croup and tail of correct carriage. Head of good proportions with feminine expression; pleasing eye, ears set on just right, slight arch to muzzle and correct dentition. Pleasing angles both ends and elbows are held close to the body. On the move, opens up nicely when viewed in profile, is more than ok coming towards but a touch closer behind.
2. Beddis & Bell’s Kjalarnes Universal Dream. 18 mth old who wasn’t entirely settled on the day. She has a good length of neck, is nice and firm through the backline, has a good depth of chest and pleased in ribbing. Attractive head with equal skull to muzzle lengths, moderate stop, expressive eyes of good colour, ears set on high and bite is correct. She stands on nice tight feet and carries pleasing bone. Moving pretty well on the go around but tail carriage could be better.
3. Mandelson’s Prideofelsa Poinsettia in Honrukai

1. Strudwick’s Lullaby Moon for Kumamatata, Somewhat mixed class which saw this 5 yr old take the win. Feminine head with correct skull to muzzle proportions, moderate stop, expressive oval-shaped eyes, ears set on high and correct dentition. Standing true in front on nice tight feet and elbows close to the body but just a touch more angulation in the rear. Moves well enough on the go around and was well handled here.

Durrant’s Prideofelsa Double Whisky at Leobroch. 3 yr old with neck of correct length to balance, firm through the topline, pleasing rib and chest of good depth, moderate slope to croup, gently rounded rump and tail correct for length, set and carriage. 1. Weaver’s Ch Simden Maida Girl Like You. What a lovely class this was and certainly gave me much to consider. Carrying good bone, she presents a beautiful outline with an excellent neck, firm level back, good depth to chest, first class ribbing, well-muscled loin, moderately sloping croup and tail just right for length, set and carriage. Most attractive head, full of femininity; skull and muzzle are proportionate in length, moderate stop, eyes of good colour, ears set on high and correct dentition. Soundly constructed throughout and stands on nice tight feet. One the move, she pleased all through and carries herself so well. A thoroughly well deserved CC here today.
2. Cole’s Ch Simden Born to Boogie JW. This girl turned out to be the litter sister to the winner although somewhat different but another who was so good hands on. Strong neck of correct length to balance, firm through the topline, brisket reaches the elbows which are held close to the body, well sprung ribs, muscular loin, correct slope to croup and tail pleased for set and carriage. Feminine headpiece with correct skull to muzzle proportions, expressive eyes of good shape, ears set on well, moderate stop, slight arch to muzzle and good dentition. She too is well made all through, standing nice and straight in front on correct feet and well muscled in the rear. Gaiting freely and with good carriage and so very well handled. RCC.
