1. Parry’s Stormymoon Is Enough. 15 mth old fawn who has much to like. All male and with strong bone, he was very good hands on. Balanced in outline with good length of neck, firm topline, pleasing rib, muscular loin, correct croup and tail of good set and carriage. Quality head of good proportions and masculine expression; eyes good for size and colour, ears set on well, strength to muzzle and excellent dentition. When gaiting, he was nice and firm when going away and covered the ground when viewed in profile. Pretty good texture to coat.

1. Fieldsend’s Ch/Ir Ch Honey I'm Home Moravia Campanella at Starwell JW An Ch 25 Cw 25. 3 yr old dark fawn who appealed for overall type and outline. Masculine throughout with strong, muscular neck, firm level back, excellent ribbing, good depth to chest, slight slope to croup and tail correct for length, set and carriage. I liked his head and expression, having good skull to muzzle proportions, nice dark eyes, ears of correct set, clearly defined stop and strong muzzle. Pleasing angles front and rear and he stands true in front. Covering the ground when gaiting and using himself as he goes. Good quality coat. Best Dog.

2. Westcott-Smith & Smith’s Urban Legend Dilorini at Rozimba (Imp Pol) JW Nld Jch. Fawn approaching 2 yrs who is quite different to the winner. Narrower all through than the winner but he has a pleasing outline with arched neck of correct length to balance, firm backline, muscular loin, slight slope to croup and tail of good length. Head and skull equal in length but would like to see more breadth to skull and strength to muzzle. Gaiting well when viewed in profile with good carriage but winner had the edge going away. Correct texture to coat.

1. Parry’s Ch Stormymoon Untamed Irish. 9 yr old black who was excellent hands on. He presented a balanced outline with arched neck of good length, firm level topline, good depth to chest, correct ribbing, slightly sloping croup and tail pleased for set and carriage and has the desired upward hook at the tip. Nicely proportioned head; dark expressive eyes, ears set on high, defined stop, strong muzzle and perfect dentition. Shoulders well laid back, standing nice and straight in front and firm, well-muscled hindquarters. On the move, he opened up well on the go around and was pretty good coming and going. Good quality coat. Reserve Best Dog & Best Veteran.

1. Coleman’s Hartswelin Midnight Skye. Black of 10 mths who I thought an excellent type, is well off for bone and was good to go over. Muscular neck of good length, topline to firm a touch, rib developing just as it should, slightly sloping croup and tail good for length, set and carriage. Feminine headpiece with very nice expression; skull and muzzle proportionate in length, dark eyes of good size, ears set on well, strength to muzzle and good dentition. Pleasing angulation front and rear and standing nice and straight in front. When gaiting, she covered plenty of ground and has drive from the rear. Pleasing texture to coat for age. Reserve Best Bitch & Best Puppy.

2. Foster’s Fostebrie Eva Diva. 10 mth old black who is quite different to the winner and is more elegant in appearance. Good length to neck with desired arch, firm topline, ribcage of good length, correct croup and tail for both set and carriage. Right now she is somewhat narrower all through; hopefully in time she will fill out. Good skull to muzzle proportions but not quite skull or overall expression of winner; dark eyes, ears set on well and good dentition. On the move, she extends well on the go around and carries herself well.

3. Gaskin’s Hartswelin Sky Full of Stars

JB (3,0)

1. Trimnell’s Vallonne Magical Flame JW. 15 mth old fawn who was a comfortable winner in this class for me and a very nice bitch overall. She presented a nicely balanced outline with arched neck of good length, firm level back, correct spring of rib, muscular loin, slight slope to croup and tail good for set and carriage. Very nice head and expression with proportionate skull to muzzle lengths, eyes of good size and dark enough, ears set on high, clearly defined stop and good dentition. Pleasing angles front and rear, standing nice and straight in front and gaiting soundly all through. In between coats right now but pleasing texture to adult coat.

2. Parry’s Stormymoon Limited Edition. Another 15 mth old fawn but unfortunately not entirely settled and therefore didn’t quite present a true picture of herself. She is well off for bone and of pleasing type and she has a very good coat. Muscular neck of good length, pleasing topline and good croup but tending to stand under herself as not settled. Feminine head with good skull to muzzle proportions and strength all through; nice dark eyes, ears set on well and good dentition. Moving pretty well but not settled into her rear due to uncertainty.

3. Holland’s Champagne Antisc Avalanche (Imp Cze)

1. Westcott-Smith & Smith’s Sunrise Madison Dilorini with Rozimba (Imp Bel) Lux Jch. Fawn of 3 yrs and another who wasn’t completely settled. She pleased for overall type, is strongly boned and was good hands on. Strong neck of good length, firm through the topline, moderate spring of rib, shade longer in loin, correct croup and tail pleased for length, set and carriage. Nicely proportioned head with slightly rounded skull, expressive eyes of good colour, ears set on high and strength to muzzle. Standing true in front and with pleasing forechest and gaiting pretty well all through even though not totally settled. Very good texture to coat.

1. Bithell’s Ch Gilcoru No Rules D'brie at Bourntwyn. Three blacks challenged in this class and I was presented with three very different outlines. This 2 yr old came out on top and for me she was a comfortable winner and she was excellent hands on. I thought her correct for type, certainly rugged in appearance and she was presented in firm, hard condition with a very good quality coat. She has an excellent neck, is firm through the topline, ribbing is correct as is her croup and tail and with the icing on the cake, the desired upward hook at the tip. Super head and expression; correct skull to muzzle proportions, excellent eye and ear, strength to muzzle and good dentition. Pleasing angulation both ends and she stands nice and straight in front. Opens up so well on the go around and she was my choice for Best Bitch & BOB.

2. Westcott-Smith & Smith’s Deu/Bel/Lux Ch Vivienne De L'arene Noire at Rozimba (Imp Bel) Bel Jch Bjw Wwj23 Bw24. 4 yr old black who has plenty to like but she is a touch longer cast and therefore wasn’t quite as good in overall outline as winner. Strong, muscular neck, firm backline, good depth to chest, pleasing rib, slightly sloping croup and tail good for length and carriage. Nicely proportioned head with pleasing skull, clearly defined stop, expressive eyes of good size, ears set on high and strong muzzle. On the move, she went very well on the go around and carries herself well but she’s a touch closer going away. Very dry coat and rugged in appearance.

3. Fletcher & Rual Keogh’s Gilcoru Quaid at Arrowflec NAF TAF
