German Wirehaired Pointer — Scottish Kennel Club all Breed

Puppy Dog — 1st Urvum Hero at Beanalrem (Imp Ita) NAF — Miss H & Mrs J Vine & Hassell

What an amazing start to the day with this stunning young puppy. I loved his overall construction, balance and excellent breed type. Beautiful head, with good proportions and the strong, purposeful expression required of the breed. Excellent furnishings without being excessive, and particularly good strength of bone for his age. His harsh, coat is exactly what I am looking for in a German Wirehaired Pointer, with the correct texture and density

He has a lovely strong neck into a firm topline and good overall body proportions. His construction gives him the ability to move efficiently and with purpose, and he moved with excellent drive and determination both coming and going. A very promising young dog who has the substance, coat, head and movement to develop into an excellent representative of the breed. He has a very bright future ahead of him and I was delighted to award him Best Puppy Dog, Best Puppy in Breed and the RDCC.

2nd Caldewriver Kong Quest — Miss R E Cuthill

Good breed type and pleasing overall proportions, with moderate angles giving him an efficient and balanced outline. Moved well with good purpose and balance. A promising youngster who should continue to strengthen and develop with maturity.

Lovely moderate angulation throughout, with excellent overall balance and proportion. Strong neck into a firm topline, good body and ribbing, and excellent substance and bone. Her construction allows her to move exactly as a working gundog should—freely, efficiently and with purpose.
