Paignton & District Fanciers' Association

Breed: EUK CH STAKES & EUK PUPPY STAKES 3 DAYS

PAIGNTON AND DISTRICT FANCIERS ASSOCIATION

ALL THREE DAYS

I was honoured to be invited to judge these stakes each day, I had some super quality dogs every day and sadly not enough prizes cards, so each day we did a short list for further consideration.

EUKANUBA CHAMPION STAKES

Day 1

ChD/B W/P/Te 36(9)

These three dogs could easily have swapped places, but I just felt 1st had that little bit extra sparkle still to give and was still showing herself off after a long hot day.

Ellis’ Ch. Philoma Wicked JW. Giant Schnauzer,

Rogerson/Simms’ Ch. Arcticskies Fernando avec Kessem JW. Siberian Husky

Church’s Ch. Matylda’s Da Vinci at Invanse (imp ESP). Belgian Shepherd Tervueren

Day 2

ChD/B G/To 28(0)

These three little dogs had really big characters, but I felt that 1st had such super breed type and was my clear winner today.

Stracey’s Ch. Krieger’s Kiss ‘n’tell JW. Miniature Pinscher

Lockett’s Ch. Panspayon Jewel of The Nile. Papillon

Morley/Hitchcock’s Ch. Londer Black Infinity at Lizlanmor JW. Pekingese

Day 3

Ch D/B H/U 37(0)

This was a very hard class today as lots of top quality dogs here, I did two shortlists and in the end 1st, I felt, was just something special and he became my eventual overall winner.

Woods’ Ch. Penbro Carbon Copy. Miniature Schnauzer

Duffield’s Ch/Hr Meiho Kensha Akioshiro Go ‘sw25. Japanese Akita Inu

Davies’ Ch It World Waterley Heart Breaker JW. Tibetan Terrier

OVERALL WINNER

Woods’ Ch. Penbro Carbon Copy. Miniature Schnauzer. Still a young dog and not judged him before. He has such super breed type, masculine head broad between ears, moderate amount of stop lovely dark oval eyes, slightly arched neck with close fitting shoulders, nice straight front, good length of rib. back firm, well-muscled thighs with good rear angulation with firm hocks, when he moves it’s fluid and effortless. Coat harsh with plenty of furnishings and well presented.

EUKANUBA PUPPY STAKES

Day 2

PD/B G/To 39 (21)

Niven-Lewis’ Robeez Teddy Boy. Pomeranian This little dog had such attitude, he just caught my eye when he came in and on didn’t disappoint on the table, moved out positively.

Isherwood’s Wilchrimane Miso Happy with Symitry. Pointer

McLoughlin’s Krieger’s Oor Bryan. Miniature Pinscher

Day 3

PD/B H/U 43(0)

Had a job splitting these three as all had some great qualities and should all have bright futures. But after a couple of times moving them, my winner was the Tibetan Terrier.

Davies/Honey’s Blue Blood Ambassador Way To Rock with Waterley. Tibetan Terrier,

Hall’s Shenedene Hasta La Vista. Lhasa Apso

Pike/Woods’ Penbro The Viscount Eivisah. Miniature Schnauzer.

OVERALL WINNER

Davies/Honey’s Blue Blood Ambassador Way To Rock with Waterley. Tibetan Terrier. For one so young, really well schooled. Lovely head with super dark pigmentation, muscular neck on well-placed shoulders, ribs well sprung with firm topline, good rear angulation with nice bend stifle, that on the move had that lovely, elegant flowing outline, in super coat that was immaculately presented.
