Manchester Dog show society championship show Friday 16th January 2026 Dog Judge Stephanie Perkins (Keeninspires) I would like to thank the committee for inviting me to judge Labrador Dogs and award my first CC’s at my first championship I would also like to thank all the exhibitors for entering under me you made my day very special. I had some lovely dogs to go over which definitely got harder in the later classes and thank you for accepting my decisions. I would also like to thank my stewards who did a brilliant job Special beginners Dog 9 (2 abs): 1st Trendlewood Hometown Glory 14 months old yellow boy nice head, very confident little boy, good length of muzzle, good angulations, not too heavy, he had a good coat, nice topline enough bone moved well once settled 2nd Cornishwater Whealprosper 6.5 -month-old yellow boy, nice strong puppy, he stood well for such a baby in a big class had a kind expression good length of muzzle, good bone nice front, lovely otter tail, moved ok. Minor Puppy Dog 11 (4 abs): 1st Eastdew Rewrite The Stars With Eminala: 8-month-old darker yellow dog, a young dog that is maturing nicely, kind head, good eye colour, nice tight feet, nice angulations with plenty of 2nd thigh, good topline which he carried well on the move, nicely balanced through the body. Coat of correct texture and plenty of it. 2nd Woefdram’s Diamond Dust (AI) 8-month-old black male, kind and soft expression, lovely eye colour like burnt sugar, good length of muzzle, nice topline in good proportions, well angulated rear, tight feet, lots of coat moved well Puppy Dog: 12 (4 abs) 1st Dylsonleigh Titan for Pattilands : 10-month-old yellow male I believe I placed his brother 2nd This young boy is maturing very nicely he had an excellent head a lovely dark eye correct shape with a broad scull, good length of muzzle, good reach of neck on to well-placed shoulders which flowed to a correct topline, nice tight feet well-muscled second thigh which gave him a fab outline and correct angulations, he moved round the ring with ease please to award him BPD then BPIB then to follow he was awarded Gundog puppy group 1 2nd Dylsonleigh Oberon over Balladoole: 10-month-old yellow dog, I was correct brother to 1st another lovely dog a lighter coat to 1st still correct and plenty of it. Lovely eye colour gentle expression correct ear set, strong neck which lead onto well placed shoulders well-muscled nice topline good angulation front and rear which showed in his movement he moved well. Junior Dog 11(2 abs): 1st Exelby Botis At Meadowline. 15 month old darker yellow boy he caught my eye when he entered the ring, he had a lovely expression with good pigmentation strong neck which led into well placed shoulder, deep chest with well barrelled ribs, nice topline correct otter tail, lovely angulations front and rear, short coupled, in really good coat and plenty of it, He moved well with drive was completely at one with his owner, pleased to award him the RDCC and understand he also received his final points for his JW. 2nd Naiken Indiana Jones (A.I): 16-month-old dark chocolate boy, kind head, good eye colour, strong hind quarters with plenty of 2nd thigh, good front nice tight feet held topline on the move, moved well. Yearling Dog 1st 11(1 abs): Same as Junior Graduate Dog 9 (2 Abs): 1st: 1st from Junior 2nd Potterspiney My Sovereign JW : 2-year-old yellow dog lovely kind head correct pigmentation nice topline good side profile when stood with correct angulations well-muscled moved ok. Post Graduate Dog: 3 (1 abs) 1st Potterspiney Optimist Vision 5-year-old yellow male nice kind expression, not to heavy good pigmentation lovely, barrelled ribs good topline nice eye colour moved well. At one with his owner listening to everything she said 2nd Oakhouse Oriover : 3-year-old black dog very excited to be in the ring he had nice head with a kind expression in good coat and plenty of it he had well-muscled front and rear, correct angulations moved well with a different handler. Limit Dog: 17(2 abs) 1st Richbourne Lion King a very well-balanced dog with a masculine well-proportioned head, dark eye and intelligent expression. Good fore chest and spring of rib, firm and level topline, good angulation front and rear in good coat. Moved well 2nd Trendlewood Long Time Coming At Pudleigh JW Lovely yellow boy nice head leading on to correct shoulders and a lovely barrelled rib, fab topline he had a good length of leg nice tight feet and a good second thigh, another one in good condition, moved well round the ring. Open Dog: 13 (4 abs) 1st NI CH Wahnahnish Puccini This lovely boy stood out from the moment he entered the ring I could not take my eyes off him 2-year-old yellow boy with masculine and kind expression, he has good angles front and rear. Well sprung ribs, excellent bone, in lovely coat and condition, not overdone in any way, his movement was great he glided around the ring with ease everything flowed side profile was just as good so pleased to award him his first CC. SH CH Carromer Chippindale 6-year-old yellow boy lovely head good eye colour with a very gentle expression he has a good reach of neck and correctly angled front. He was deep through the chest giving him a lovely barrelled rib, he had a correct topline and tail set. Has good hind angulation and muscle tone. Moves well with plenty of drive and good reach in front. Veteran Dog 4 (2 abs); Potterspiney Killian: 11-year-old beautiful black oldie I couldn’t quite believe he was 11 still very excited to be in the ring he had pleasant expression kind head, enough coat, nice tight feet, good topline, well-placed shoulders moved well 2nd Vetybonbetty chocolate box. 9 year old chocolate dog another one who loves to be in the ring and was excited to be there he is a nice dark chocolate with good eye colour soft expression, lots of coat nice rear angulation good topline moved
