Bath C.S Championship Show 25th May 2026 Beagles Judge Sharon Hardisty Thank you to the committee for the invitation to judge at this lovely venue where I awarded my first set of CC’s in my own breed. I had wonderful stewards on the day who kept the ring running like clockwork so a big thank you to them. Thank you to the exhibitors for your entry. It was a very hot day but I thought the dogs coped well overall. Veteran Dog (2,1ab) 1st Murphy’s Black Royal At Rhosyndu VW Well presented 11 year old blanket tri boy who stood alone in this class, a credit to his owners, he’s in superb hard muscular condition throughout with a nice dark jacket, well proportioned masculine head with good dome and dark pigment, good depth to chest, well ribbed body, sound mover. Minor Puppy Dog (3) 1st Bridgeman & Logue’s Kingswin Chuck Berry 6 months old blanket tri boy, masculine head with good pigment and mild expression, arched neck of good length, well developed through the body, straight legs with plenty of bone and good feet, showed good profile movement. 2nd Sutton’s Rossut Islander Star 8 month old tri boy who gave his handler a bit of a hard time today so unfortunately wasn’t showing himself to advantage. He’s a nice size, equally proportioned head, good front assembly, tight elbows, straight forelegs with adequate bone and nice tight feet, hocks are well let down, sound on the move when settled. 3rd Storey & Dyer’s Boskenna The Yellow Peril At Anxoowl Puppy Dog (2) 1st Havard’s Annavah Top Notch 11 month old quality tri boy of a good overall size, masculine head with good earset, moderate all through with good substance, chest well let down with nice amount of fore chest, depth to body, compact and well ribbed back with short loin, good sound movement all ways. 2nd Peterson’s Troopersway Zeus 12 months old blanket tri, another nice pup, larger boy than 1 but still balanced, well proportioned masculine head, appealing expression with dark pigment, correct shoulder layback and good topline, well off for bone on good straight legs, showed good profile movement, preferred overall size of 1. Junior Dog (4) 1st Beard’s Kellitcreed Mrs Doubtfire Well presented 12 month old tri boy who couldn’t be matched in this class for construction and profile movement, powerful hound with a masculine head, good reach of neck, plenty of forechest, compact body with level top line and correct tail set, well off for bone, strong rear with good bend of stifle and width to thigh, low hocks, showed excellent reach and drive on the move, 2nd Bell Thomas & Thomas’s Amorpapaver Copernicus 16 month tri boy of a nice shape and size, balanced head proportions, soft expression, good reach of neck, straight forelegs with tight feet, balanced angulation, showed good profile movement. 3rd Daniel’s Michelroy Earl Grey Yearling Dog (2) 1st Bakers Bondlea Choirboy Tri colour boy of a larger mould with plenty of substance, masculine head, long neck, deep chest, long through the body but well ribbed back, showed good free movement especially in profile. 2nd Philpott’s Campionfield Scholar From Charterwood Preferred this boy for overall size and balance, just felt he didn’t show himself to advantage on the move today, good head with dark pigment and mild expression, enough neck, compact body, level topline, straight legs with good bone and tight feet, steady on the move Novice Dog (2) 1st Bridgeman & Logue’s Kingswin Chuck Berry See 1st MPD. 2nd Peterson’s Troopersway Helios 12 month old blanket tri boy, thought he would be my winner at first glance, unfortunately he wasn’t happy on the move today so it was hard to assess his movement, nicely shaped masculine head in no way overdone, kind expression, super dark pigment, good length of neck, level topline, well ribbed back with short strong loin, good bone with balanced angulation front and rear. Post Graduate Dog (3,1ab) 1st Giles-Wyatt’s Clarismore Crown Prince Nicely presented blanket tri boy, liked him for overall size, he’s compact with good balance and a nice outline, masculine head, good pigment, correct earset, nice amount of forechest, hocks well let down, moved well all ways. 2nd Wigstead & Carters Lilleagle Jeremy Fisher With Bellenza Tri boy of a larger size, masculine head with good dark pigment, sturdy with good depth to body, excellent bone on straight legs and tight feet, hocks well let down. nice free mover especially in profile, well handled, preferred overall size of 1. Limit Dog (8) 1st Lewis’s Fallowfield Charming Boy Tri boy with lots to like, nice size, correct head proportions with soft appealing expression, good shoulder layback and return of upper arm, well ribbed back, strong loin, well muscled powerful rear with good width moving away, showed good profile movement. 2nd Banks Forgebanks Santiano JW Tan & white boy of a larger build, he is totally sound and well balanced, good depth through the body with good bone on straight legs and nice bend of stifle, hocks let down and parallel, sound mover all ways, preferred overall size and head on 1. 3rd Peterson’s Troopersway Apollon Open Dog (4,1ab) 3 quality dogs in this class 1st Havard’s Ch Annavah Justify Lovely size to this quality boy shown in excellent condition, nothing overdone, nicely balanced throughout with a clean outline, well proportioned masculine head with soft appealing expression, reachy neck with good layback of shoulder, depth to chest and body, level topline, well ribbed back with short loin, correct bone on straight legs, balanced front and rear angles, sound on the move all ways, effortless profile movement with reach and drive. Pleased to award him the CC. 2nd Back’s Maliwicks Folklore JWW-25 Well presented super smart blanket tri boy who never stopped showing, pleasing size with a good outline, masculine head with dark pigment and correct earset, good front with well laid shoulder, depth to chest and nice amount of forechest, compact through the body with nice underline, good bend of stifle and hocks well let down, moved well all ways, well handled, preferred head and profile movement on 1, pleased to award him RCC 3rd Philpott’s Charterwood Chancellor Special Beginners Dog/Bitch (6) 1st Clarismore’s Crown Prince JW See 1st PGD 2nd Bell-Thomas’s Amorpapaver Ada Lovelace 15 month old blanket tri, nicely balanced with good shaped feminine head, dark pigment with soft expression and good earset, level topline, well ribbed back, good rear angles, steady mover. 3rd Miller’s Alkira Beau Showtime Veteran Bitch (4) 1st Webster’s Michelroy Pimpernell With Houndcoast JW 7 yr old tan and white girl of a nice overall size with a pleasing outline, feminine head with soft expression, compact, well ribbed body with good tail set, well muscled strong rear with good bend of stifle and well let down parallel hocks, moved out well all ways, well handled. 2nd Roberts & Spearing’s Linkenlees Laurina ShCEx VW 9yr old tri girl shown in excellent condition, nicely balanced outline, very feminine, with good head, level topline held on the move, balanced angulation, showed good profile movement with reach and drive, preferred front movement on 1 3rd Breeze’s Davricard Hummingbird Of Parkbreeway ShCh VW Minor Puppy Bitch (4,1ab) 1st Craig’s Davricard Astrid 8 month old tri, a quality puppy who must have a bright future, very feminine with well proportioned head and soft expression, well bodied for age with good topline and tailset, balanced angles front and rear showing nice amount of forechest, straight legs with good bone, movement was sound all ways showing good reach and drive. 2nd Bridgeman & Logue’s Kingswin Brenda Lee 6 month old tri colour girl, nice pup with plenty of substance, head still developing would like more refinement, neck well arched and of a good length, level topline, mature through body with depth and a good underline, well off for bone, showed good profile movement, preferred head and overall movement on 1 3rd Oak’s Annavah Crème De Fleur By Floridgebay Puppy Bitch (2) 1st Havard’s Annavah Crème Caramel Loved this quality 10 month old tan and white pup, could have easily taken her home! she appealed to me for moderation, balance, elegance and effortless movement, her head is beautiful, with the softest of expressions that just melts you, nicely shaped eye with black pigment, correct earset, she has a good length of neck, a level topline, good tail set and is well ribbed back, balanced moderate angulation front and rear, she showed correct sound movement all ways, effortless movement in profile with reach and drive. Delighted to award her BCC and BOB and pleased to see she also went on to take Hound Puppy Gp 2. 2nd Breezes Parkbreeway Buckle Bunny A quality tri puppy with lots to like, very feminine with nicely proportioned head and soft appealing expression, good length of neck, correct shoulder layback and forechest, balanced angles front and rear, good straight legs with tight feet, moved well. Junior Bitch (6,1ab) Difficult class to judge, lots of similar qualities in first 3 who I’m sure will continue to change places. 1st Craig’s Davricard Madonna Quality tri girl with substance, compact with a balanced outline, all parts flowed together nicely, correctly proportioned feminine head with good depth to muzzle, good neck, nice depth to chest, level topline with correct tail set, well ribbed back, short loin, straight legs with round bone, good rear angles and width of thigh, moved well all ways. 2nd Arden’s Madika Shine On JW Smart merry open tri girl who looks a picture free standing, beautifully handled and shown in lovely condition, well balanced and compact, feminine head with dark eyes and appealing expression, nice length of neck, good through the body showing nice amount of forechest, straight well boned legs, powerful rear, good on the move, just preferred profile movement on 1 today. 3rd Beards Kellitcreed Tickety Boo Yearling Bitch (3,1ab) 1st Simkin’s Simeldaka Sliema Madame Well presented open tri, very feminine with good head, correct stop dividing head equally, nice eye with soft expression and dark pigment, good through the body with good reach of neck and level topline, balanced angles front and rear, steady mover all ways. 2nd Bell-Thomas Amorpapaver Ada Lovelace See 2nd in special beginners Novice Bitch (4,2ab) 1st Bridgeman & Logue’s Kingswin Brenda Lee See 2nd in Minor puppy 2nd Oaks Annavah Crème De Fleur By Floridgebay 6 month old tan and white raw baby, unsettled today so not showing at her best, she’s a nice size, feminine with a equally proportioned head with good earset, nice length of neck, bone proportional to her size, balanced angles, moved ok Post Graduate Bitch (2,1ab) 1st Barrow’s Redcap Pretty Woman At Meganjin Tri girl of a nice size, feminine head with soft expression good reach of neck, compact body, well ribbed back with good spring of rib, balanced angles, sound mover Limit Bitch (10) 1st Beard’s Kellitcreed Oopsy Daisy 12 month old quality tri girl of a pleasing shape and size, feminine with good head proportions, arched neck of good length, level topline with correct tailset, good angulation front and rear, with well let down chest, straight legs with good bone, excelled in profile movement with reach and drive. 2nd Lewis’s Fallowfield Chatty Another quality tri colour girl, feminine with a nicely balanced head, good dark pigment, appealing expression, good length of neck, body well ribbed back, well muscled rear with good bend of stifle and width behind, moved well, preferred profile movement of 1 today 3rd Banks Forgebank Shantung JW Open Bitch (7,2ab) 1st Craig’s Ch Davricard Bianca Quality tan and white girl with an eye catching outline which is balanced and compact, feminine well proportioned head with soft expression, good reach of neck, shoulder well laid back with good depth to chest and body, level top line and good tail set, nice bend to stifle, parallel low hocks, sound and steady on the move with good profile movement, pleased to award her Reserve CC 2nd Havard’s Annavah Teardrop A lot to like on this attractive blanket tri girl, another lovely head from this kennel, well proportioned with a soft melting expression, nice eye and dark pigment, good neck length, nice amount of forechest, depth through the body, balanced angles front and rear, moved well all ways. 3rd Simkin’s Simeldaka Marfa Ridge
