Many thanks to SWWC for the invitation to judge whippet bitches at this show. Many thanks also
to Karen Bennett and Mary Rigby for stewarding for me.
I was looking for an elegant Classic whippet that is not over exaggerated in any way, so creating
a balanced picture to the eye, and with sound movement. I do feel more attention should be
payed to this as too many are very close behind and front movement loose from poorly laid
shoulders which causes strange things to happen lower down.
VB 9 (1)
1. Whitmore’s Whitleara Truly Scrumpy VW. Brindle girl who is 11 yrs old, such a very elegant girl
who still holds her topline well when moving with lovely free extension, sound to and fro, she
certainly did not show her age. BVB
2. Williams’s Tigsisle About Time. This 7 year old fawn and white parti girl has a lovely head and
good neck into well laid shoulders, she has a good topline which was held well on the move.

bit loose on movement but she is a young baby she shows good front extension with a lovely
free stride in profile. BPB, RBPS.

over exaggerated, she moved nicely round the ring with sound movement.

3. Bowyer’s Crosscop Arabella.
YB. 2.

She did move well round the ring.

1. Green and Ratcliffe’s. Ch: Crosscop Bumble Bee By Arradore. What a beautiful fawn girl she
is, stunning head eye and expression, lovely elegant neck that flows into well laid shoulders
and seamlessly on into her topline with a gentle slop over her well muscled hind quarters. Her
movement for me was faultless to and fro and in profile I could have watched her for hours.

that decision over to the referee Jackie Norman who decided that she should go BIS.
