Thankyou to Midland Counties for the kind invitation and their warm welcome over the four days of the show.

Its lovely to see so many puppies of quality and some still need little more time but for the world of Dog shows I have hope that future is looking brighter. Lovely to see excellent sportsmanship throughout the show too.

Puppy

G1 1302 - Elazlan Dontmindifido, Breed: Spaniel (English Springer) (Miss E E & Mrs C E Chandler & Darling)

ESS, Gorgeous puppy she is very eye-catching when she enters the ring, head of correct skull proportions with feminine expressions, lovely almond eye shape with dark hazel in colour, ears well set with good length, strong reach of neck leading into well placed shoulders, excellent bone, tight round feet, lovely forechest, deep brisket, elbows close to body, ribs well sprung, well develop loin, moderate bend of stifle, well-muscled with second thigh muscle, moved with real reach and drive, gleaming coat and condition, I am sure her future will be bright.

G2 164 - Karlejay Gump Forrest Fire, Breed: German Wirehaired Pointer (Mr K O'connor)

GWP, One I have judged recently and gave her top honours on that day. My opinion has not changed, actually she is getting better with age. I am sure she will be getting CC’s shortly. She offers lots of breed features which are a joy to judge.

Irish Setter, another lovely puppy in the making, lean and long head, oval shape skull, feminine expression, dark hazel eyes and correct shape, super pigmentation, nostrils wide, ears low set, neck slightly arched and muscular leading into well placed shoulders, excellent bone, firm feet, deep brisket, elbows free, ribs well sprung and well back, firm top-line, muscular loin, powerful hindquarters, hocks short, well-muscled with second thigh muscle, moved with reach and drive, in gleaming coat and condition.
