A glorious spring day in the sunshine at the showground near Newbury. It was hot and my able stewards who were absolutely out-standing kept the show going brilliantly. I was pleased with my entry and awarding CCs in the breed for the 1st time. All the exhibitors took their placing with sportsmanship. All exhibits were clean and well-presented which was fully appreciated by me thanks.

Puppy Dog (4,0), 1 Miss A.J. Rees, Stadwen Sidney NBT: A 9mth old tri, what a cutie. He took my eye straight away. He is so well balanced for his age, absolutely loved his type, with a great outline. He moved about the ring like a trouper, loved him. So was pleased to award him the Res. CC and BPIB and later to see him take Puppy Grp 3 in the Pastoral Puppy Grp. Congratulations.

2 Miss Annie Record, Trolltunga Of Treowecorgi with Jonjake: An 11mth old s/w. Well grown for his age. He is longer caste than 1st. But still in balance. He is typy and has a pleasing out-line. He holds his top-line when moving earning his placing.   3 Mrs. M. & Mr. M. Holland-Washington, Wightdreams Prince.   4 Mrs. M. & Mr. M. Holland-Washington, Wight Sovereign Royal.

Junior Dog (1,0), 1 Miss J. Young Levisbrooks Lunar Eclipse: This 14mth old dog stood alone in this class and this tri is a pleasant youngster. He has a pleasing head, neat front and rear. Good length of neck. Overall, he is very neat. Liked him very much. Moved well. Best Special Beginners.

Limit Dog (5,2), 1 Mrs. G. & Mr. S Pike., Unita Mentale Hollywood Paul at Eivisah (Imp YKR) NBT: A 2yr old s/w, nice looking dog. He is a pleasing type and out-line, nicely balanced for age. Moved driving about the ring. Very neat.   2 Mr R.P. & Mrs. H. Wyer, Cottivy Coronation Prince: Another 2yr old s/w dog. Front is not as good as above. But he is still a nice-looking type and out-line. Neat looking dog.   3 Miss J. Young., Ermyn Lionheart.

Open Dog (6,1), 1 Mr. R.P. & Mrs. H. Wyer., Ch Brynlea Creslow Paint It Black at Cottivy (Imp USA): A 2yr old tri, just filled my eye with his balance. So full of substance. He is of a great type and out-line. So easy on the move. I could just not take my eyes off him. Super dog I had no hesitation in awarding him the CC and later BOB. Congratulations.   2 Mr B.J. & Mrs. S. Coulson, Ch. Woodhenge Star Commander: A 5yr old worthy Champion, s/w, lovely out-line and type. Well balanced. Not quite the movement of 1st. Plenty of substance, very nice. Just missing out today.   3 Miss A. Cutts, Haresfoot Fates Align JW (NBT).   4 Ms. L.M. Franchi, Saniaquinto A Kind of Magic.    5 Mrs. E. Ellwood, Ellhar Chief Scout.  

Special Beginners (3,1), 1 Miss J. Young Levisbrooks Lunar Eclipse: As before.   2 Mrs. M. & Mr. M. Holland-Washington, Kenzduo Cych: A 4yr old tri bitch, nice type and out-line. Nice on the move. Shame to come up against above.

Puppy Bitch (3,1), 1 Mrs E. Kubickova, Great By Lucky Your Love is Miracle: An 8mth old s/w, nice well-balanced bitch for her age. Very nice type and out-line and moves very nicely around the ring. Very neat, liked her.   2 Miss Annie Record, Namib Mirage of Treowecorgi with Jonjake: A 6mth old s/w, she is a very pretty bitch which I really liked. She just needs confidence, once she has that she will fly.

Junior Bitch (3,1), 1 Mrs E. Kubickova, Great By Lucky Glow Eternal: A 15mth old s/w, pretty girl with a nice out-line and type. Well balanced. Lots to like about her. Pleasing on the move.   2 Mrs. J. Eyre-Brook, Ermyn Dancing Jewel at Wothorpe: A 16mth old s/w, that still needs to come on a bit. She is a nice type and out-line and has a lovely temperament. Time is on her side.  

Post Graduate Bitch (5,0), I liked this class a lot.    1 Miss A.J. Rees, Stadwen Polly Garter (AI): A 2yr old tri of really super type and out-line. Well balanced and very feminine. Moved soundly about the ring. Well done.   2 Mrs. K.A. & Miss K.J. Thacker, Peritye Amber Belle: A 2.5yr old s/w, nice type and out-line. Well balanced, and moved well. Coming second in this class is ok. The 1st 3 I loved.   3 Mr. R.P. & Mrs. H. Wyer, Cottivy Coronation Cup Cake at Barawood: Another tri of 3yrs coming up 3rd but I liked the 1st 3 of this class. Good type and out-line. Well balanced. Moved well. Thank you.   4 Mrs. E. Ellwood, Ellhar Indian Squaw.   5 Mrs. M. & Mr. M. Holland-Washington, Kenzduo Cych.

Limit Bitch (5,0), 1 Ms. L. Roper, Twinan Raise Your Game JW: A 2yr old s/w very neat as well. I Liked her a lot, she is a lovely type and out-line. Nicely balanced and moved a treat. Liked her a lot.   2 Miss. G. Rutherford, Twinan Dance To The Beat JW: An 18mths old s/w, well balanced for age. She is very pleasing. Nice out-line and lovely type. Moves well. Very neat.   3 Mrs. E. Gordon, Ryslip What The Future Holds.   4 Ms. L.M. Franchi., Saniaquinto That’s Amore JW.     5 Miss G. Legerton, Anwyl Leave with A Kiss for Solaw (Imp Aus).

Open Bitch (5,0), 1 Mr. B.J. & Mrs. S. Coulson, Woodhenge Stars In Your Eyes for Beaulamey: Heading up this class was a 4yr old s/w bitch. Which took my eye straight away in this class. Nicely balanced of great type and out-line. She powered her way around the ring. Very neat. Had no hesitation awarding her the CC. Congratulations.  2 Miss. A.J. Rees, Stadwen Grace Darling: Another s/w 4yr old. Again, pulling out all the stops. Lovely balanced girl of great type and out-line. Moving purposefully around the ring. Demanding and getting the Res. CC. Well done.   3 Mr. R.P. & Mrs. H. Wyer, Cottivy Chiquita.   4 Ms. L.M. Franchi, Saniaquinto Moonstruck.   5 Miss G. Legerton, Anwyl in The Limelight at Solaw (Imp Aus).
