CITY OF BIRMINGHAM CANINE ASSOCIATION

Sunday 6th September 2026

I would like to thank the Committee of the City of Birmingham Canine Association for the kind invitation to Judge Flatcoated Retrievers at this prestigious Show. Overall, the dogs were presented in excellent order with superb temperaments so typical of our Flatcoats. Many thanks must go to my Stewards who did an excellent job of keeping the ring flowing at all times. I was rather surprised by the number of level bites seen but, my class winners were excellent examples of the breed presented beautifully and I thank all the exhibitors for their entries and sportsmanship.
