My thanks to the National for the opportunity to assess this entry on the withdrawal of Jeoff Horswell whom I wish a full and speedy recovery and look forward to seeing back on the scene soon.A change is not ideal for exhibitors and I thank you all for the spirit in which my placements were accepted.It is some years since I was actively involved in this breed and I was disappointed to find some features which have been allowed to creep in. Feet should not be round and hare feet were hard to find.It was also disappointing to find a number of exhibits with markings far from the most desirable.Temperaments were excellent as.in the main,was presentation.

 1.Rooney & Greens’ JASCHIN HEADLINER 7 1/2 mth with pleasing head and nice expression. Good eyes with a little white. Straight front,feet OK. Moderate length of neck. Fair rib for age and good top line with high set tail. Moved soundly.

 1 & BP.Rooney & Greens’ JASCHIN HOT OFF THE PRESS,smashing 7 1/2mth,with a super head of good width,excellent eyes, nice padding to muzzle,and carried proudly on good neck.Straight front,feet ok ,well ribbed body for a youngster,level topline , nicely muscled quarters. Sound straight movement with strong rear action. This lad has a bright future.

2.Morgan & Godwin’s CHOLAS RED ROBIN AT MAIRAMEL,Another B/W of nice make & shape. Not the head of 1. Eyes OK. Straight front,fair rib for age, I would prefer a little less black in body markings.Good tailset. Not as confident as one on the move.

 1.Beadling’s SHARLARNA ECLIPSE, B/W with pleasing head. Nicely marked, well ribbed,decent feet.Good top line. Nicely presented coat.Moved soundly with good rear action.

 2.Pearson’s SHARLARNA PRETTY BOY FLOYD AT ERESTE’S Eyecatching exhibit presenting a very good outline. Lovely expressive head with good eyes.Straight front, nice ribbing, coat of lovely slky texture.Spoilt Could do well when he settles.

 3.Blair’s BELLFLOWS ICHIKAWA

 1. Flynn’s SHARLARNA PHILANDERER AT LINJATO Smart B/W, nicely marked except for a large patch on rear. Nice rib and top line. Feet OK. Movies with style and elegance.

2. Bellflows Ichikawa B/W a little finer all through than 1.Nicely marked head,nice eyes.Moderate neck,fair rib, good tailset.Moderate rear angulation.Moved soundly, lacks the finish at present to complete the picture.

1,CC & BOB Oatridge,Grogan & Irvine’s DALEHOUSE ROYAL SCEPTRE B/W with lovely head with good width,dark eyes & good expression.Nice front and decent feet.Good width of chest and well ribbed body,level topline. Nicely muscled quarters. Presented in full coat of correct texture.Moves with an elegant carriage. Pleased to hear this made him up.

 2.Martin’s CRANVARL STUDENT PRINCE JW,Excellent make and shape , a classical head with lovely expression,good eyes, feet ok.Well ribbed cobby body,well muscled quarters and was well presented.Not quite the rear movement of 1.

 3.Tong’s CRANVARL THE RED KING OF JAKCONAS

A quality class & the finishing line-up of 5 made such a pleasing picture.

1 & RCC Quinn’s CH SHARLARNA SWINDLER JW, One I judged as a puppy and how well he has developed.B/W of ideal size & lightly marked. Pleases in head,nice eyes.Decent front,nicely ribbed, good topline and tailset. Nice quarters .Moves with a light positive action and pleases in profile.

2.Blair’s LUX CH SHARLARNA’S CHAOS AT BELLFLOWS ShCEx, B/W lightly marked, nice head and good eyes, Decent front, nice rib but would prefer a little more body cover.Good topline and tailset, nicely muscled quarters.Moved with a sound positive action, nice head carriage giving pleasing profile.

1.Rooney & Greens’ LITTLETIGERS INNUENDO WITH JASCHIN JW, lightly marked 9 year old in full coat though presentation was

a little off today. Broad head with good expression.Well ribbed, good topline.Moved out with a strong and accurate gait.

2.Farmer’s SANGRIA DE JA VOUS , 8 year old of good make and shape.Very expressive head & lovely eyes,Nicely ribbed ,cobby body and level topline, in good coat.Lost out as his rear movement was somewhat restricted,lacking drive.

1.Rooney & Greens’ JASCHIN COVER GIRL Lovely head and markings, good eyes.Good chest for age,nice rib and topline, nice tailset and moderate rear angulation.Scores highly with strong rear action.

2.Van De Burgt & Strange’s CAPEVIDLES MIDNITE MADNESS AT NORVANIK Pretty with nice fine bone.Feet ok, fair rib and body, level topline,fair quarters.On the move lacks the drive of 1,pleases in profile.

 1.Ratter’s CRANVARL’S BACK TO BLACK AT SEAFAR, Cobby girl with good expressive head, fair neck, good rib and topline, moderate rear angulation.I would prefer a little finer bone.Very smart mover.

2.Holland-Smith’s SHARLARNA CONSTANCE FOR KIRDANCHI.Elegant girl with pretty head.Nice legs, fair rib, good topline. Light,dainty action. With nice profile.

1.Matches’ ADELA GOSCINSKA PRZYSTAN AT FOCHAI,R/W.presenting a very square ,cobby outline.Very expressive head,eyes ok,self coloured pigment .Good legs.Well ribbed with level topline.Coat a little wavy.Moved very true both ways.

2.Farmer’s SANGRIA DOLLY MIXTURE, B/W elegant and fine.Head a little too black for me.Decent feet, fair rib,moderate rear angulation.Moves with light and purposeful action.

1 & CC Streak’s SHARLARNA HARMONY AT SHERAZADE B/W with nice width to head and very expressive dark eyes.Straight front,feet ok.Nice width of chest and rib,level topline.Moved out with purpose, sound both ways.

2 & RCC Bradley’s SHARLARNA ALL EYES ON ME,B/W who stacks up well, pleasing head.Nice legs, fair rib and good topline,Moderate rear angulation holds herself well on the move giving a good profile.Nicely presented coat.

3.Calvert’s ADREEAM RUBY WITH SOMERGEMZ

 1.Quinn’s CH HARLOUVILLE UPTOWN GIRL,Lovely soft expression with the darkest of eyes.Very cobby.Fine bone and decent feet.Nice rib,level topline,in tip top condition, lovely silky coat presented very well..Moved with a sound, free flowing gait.

2.Bradley’s SHARLARNA VIVACIOUS,B/W Pleasing soft expression but still with a “look at me” attitude.Straight front, feet ok.Nicely ribbed.Coat of nice texture.Good rear action which counted over 3.

 3.Oatridge,Grogan & Irvine’s CH DALEHOUSE ROYAL SECRET

Completed a beautiful trio.
