Yorkshire Terrier’s

I was really pleased with the entry and when judging the quality of the exhibits. What was disappointing was in the dogs two that were present missed their class as did one of the bitches.

Open Dog 1st CH Queenslake Ring of Gold, this is a quality dog, he is alert, intelligent and is outgoing in attitude, he holds a beautiful profile outline, he is balanced, has pleasing head properties, sparkling dark eyes, small V shaped ears that are correctly set and carried, his dentition is tidy, he has a good reach of neck, his shoulders are well laid back, his forelegs are parallel, his body is compact with a moderate spring of rib, he holds a spirit level topline, his hindquarters are of moderate angulation, he has tidy round feet that are pleasingly  aligned, his coat is perfectly straight, glossy and silky in texture, it is dark steel blue in colour, he was presented to perfection, he has tan in all the right places,  importantly of the desired  tan shades and lengths for respective parts, due to his exceptional construction he moves out freely with drive and truly from all angles, he was my DCC and later my BOB. 2ND TR CH Xmas Joy of Eve’s Amulet (ATC BC11304 ROM), this was a very tidy exhibit, who had a number of similar attributes as the first, he was another that was beautifully presented and handled, he pleases in profile outline, he holds a spirit level topline when stacked and when gaiting, he moved out freely, he just lacked the precision of the first in rear action. Overall he pleased and deserved his placing and later the DRCC. 3RD Trayshellin Top Secret, made up a trio of very pleasing exhibits.

Puppy Bitch 1st Quelinda of New Deal with Trayshellin (Imp Hun), this six month old puppy was ultra feminine, she has delightful head properties, her expression is cheeky and draws you in, her round eyes are dark, she is developing and pleases in ear shape and carriage, also dentition, she excels in confidence, holds very good head carriage, neat profile outline, presently her front action is A1, she just needs to settle in front action, she has a pleasing developing coat of silky texture, her tan is in all the right places,  she was presented to perfection and sympathetically handled, this youngster has character, she later was my BPIB.

PGB 1ST, Take it Easy of New Deal (Imp Hun), this bitch has an A1 head, she is of ideal shape, she has dark expressive eyes, she is alert, her coat was of good length, had depth and was silky in texture, she was presented to perfection, she holds particularly when moving a tidy profile outline, this aided by her very pleasing construction achieving free, sound movement, she was more composed than the second throughout the class, her handler has a great rapport with her. 2nd Bierlyn We Believe, this exhibit was a shade smaller in build, she is very feminine, she scored in head properties, dark round eyes, well carried ears, she had a pleasing profile outline when stacked, she pleases in coat colour and presentation, she went to pieces in movement by only moving out intermittingly, her handler patiently tried to get her animated but to no avail, hence her placing.

Open Bitch, this was a lovely competitive class with a quartet of exhibits giving their all. first and second were both A1 in make, shape and balance, both were ultra-feminine, both were beautifully presented, both had spirit level toplines when stacked and gaiting, they both moved out freely and truly, this due to their very pleasing construction, both excelled in colour, coat texture tan shades, size and showmanship, I was knit picking to finalise my decision, the first was a tad more compact, both are quality  1st CH Bierlyn’s Last Promise later my BCC, 2ND CH Joyful Life of New Deal with Trayshallin ( Imp Hun) , later was my BRCC. 3rd Adrenaline for Love of Eve’s Ammulet (ATC BC 18519 ROM), 4TH Queenslake Diamond Ring.
