Puppy Dog(1)

1st -Akna Mittimatalik*** (Ms R E Bailey)

11 month male with head that appears to be developing correctly for age. Correct eye shape and placement, small ear. Chest still to develop which will strengthen his front. He was slightly longer than high. Correct tail that was set well and a good coat. well handled. Best Puppy

Open Dog (5, 2a)

1ST - Multi Ch Aavuuta Qimmiq Akiak ShCEx (Imp Can) Bel/ir Jch (Mrs P A Byrne)

 4year old

Correct head, displaying typical wedge shape for the breed, with good eye and ear.

Straight front legs with slight slope to pastern on good feet. Good depth of chest.

Matching moderate angulation front and back.  Straight rear legs when viewed from behind. Which were visible on his free stand. Level topline, Well set tail which was used at all times. I liked his height to length ratio. Won the class on his sound movement which was displayed front and aft  and also from the side profile. Unfortunately his coat condition could be better which cost him best of breed today. Best Dog

2nd -Ir Ch Akna Panda* Ir Jch (Ms R E Bailey)

3 year old male, This dog was a more compact dog than the first. He had correct head with good ear and eye. I feel his chest still has to develop more. Front shoulder angulation is good. Straight front legs, tail well set and had an excellent coat. Preferred the rear movement of 1st place.  Reserve Best Dog

Veteran Bitch (1)

1ST    5146 - Int/ir/nld/bel Ch Harpan Charlotte Bay Ir/b Jch VW (Mrs P A Byrne)

 Excellent coat condition

Good wedge head with good ear and eye.

Well off for bone, straight front legs good pastern and feet, level top line, a little long in body to match her height. Good straight rear. Moderate angulation matching front and back. Sickle tail, well set, moved well from all angles, which won her reserve bitch

 Puppy Bitch (1)

1st - Akna Zira (Mrs S & Mr K Hooley)

This puppy was difficult to assess as she was giving her young handler a difficult time..

She had a good coat, Very feminine head, ok for bone but wouldn't want any less, would prefer a stronger top line, her tail trailed throughout the whole class but appeared to be set ok. (She did bring her tail up in the puppy challenge briefly)

 Junior Bitch – no entries

Limit Bitch (2, 1a)

1st - Snoqualmie Fairy Firefly (Mrs S & Mr K Hooley)

Very compact bitch on smaller side of the standard she had a correct head with correct eye and ear. She had good feet but her front needs to tighten which may happen as she matures more, Rear angulation good, She had a good tailset and used her tail well,

Open Bitch (3, 2a)

1st  - Ir Ch Qimugta Neptunia Ir Jch (Mrs A Allen)

Beautiful female. She had a good head with correct well placed ear and good eye.

Straight front legs with slight slope to pastern, she had good topline, matching angulation front and back. Straight legs when viewed from the rear, Well set tail which she used well.

Moved well in all directions, had a super coat that was presented in excellent condition. Was pleased to Award her Best Bitch and Best Of Breed.
