Firstly thanks must go to the membership ballot for giving me the opportunity to judge at the clubs 51st Championship Breed Show. Also thanks to the Show & Judges Sub Committee for their support and hospitality, my ring stewards Janette and Harry for their help and organisation throughout the day. I thoroughly enjoyed judging this quality entry but my main concern was movement, many that looked good stood just didn’t produce the movement one would expect, there were to many that were not moving straight and true at the rear. On a more positive note I had a number of dogs with true one pice flatcoat heads which is such an important factor in our breed.

Beautiful balanced 7 year old male with a lovely classic one piece head, reachy neck into well placed shoulders, deep chest, short loin, strong well angulated quarters producing excellent driving movement. In agreement with my co judge BVIS

2nd Macdonald’s - Sh Ch Deringwood English Oak

Smaller compact 8 year old boy, another with that classic head and dark eye, firm level topline with correct tail set, straight forelegs, short coupled, strong quarters, was sound and true on the move.

3rd Mullins - Everblack Booze Cruise At Dexanluc

Just 8 years of age, presented in good coat and condition, has true moulded head, good overall balance, but not so positive on the move as 1&2.

1st Knight & Jacob’s - Gemswin Rolling In The Deep JW

Lovely 10 year old with good moulded head, well angulated at front and rear, deep chest, well ribbed, short loin, was steady and true on the move.

Baby Puppy Dog 1/0

1st Price & Nicholls - Llantrussa Winchester - BBPIS

Just loved this 5 month old youngster who is showing such great promise, he is so well balance for his age with everything in construction and movement you could wish for, I wish him well for the future.

Minor Puppy Dog 5/1a

1st Holland’s - Flatcharm Mr Brisk

Promising youngster with lovely moulded head and eye, reachy neck, well bodied, level topline adequate turn of stifle, moved true but just needs time to strengthen at the rear, won here on his excellent clean balanced outline.

2nd Williams - Wistaston Much More Love

Pushed one but I just preferred the balance of my winner, very similar to one in construction, but another who just needs the time to strengthen in rear movement.

3rd Pierce’s - Flatcharm Hobgoblin At Tarnmill

Nice balance head with dark eye straight forelegs, not the balance of two, he also just need to strengthen in rear movement.

Good class of promising youngsters 

1st Holland & Ramunno’s - Flatcharm Gameboy

Loved this young boys classic head and dark eye, clean reachy neck, level topline with correct tail set, straight forelegs, tight feet, moderate turn of stifle, moving so sound and true to win this class.

 2nd Mcquillian’s - Flattastic James Sullivan

Another lovely headed youngster with good length of neck, firm topline, well ribbed, short in loin, adequate rear angulation, was steady and true on the move.

3rd Woodhams - Flatcharm Mr Potato Head

Litter brother of one with nice moulded head, adequate reach of neck, firm topline, short coupled, good width of quarters, steady on the move but not as true as one and two.

Junior Dog 9/1a

1st Genco & Soresina’s - Diamanté Blu Nottetempo - BPIS

Good size youngster with classic one piece head, lengthy neck into well laid shoulders, straightest of fronts, firm level topline with correct tail set, strong quarters with moderate turn of stifle, looked excellent on the move. In total agreement with my co judge BPIS.

2nd Scaife’s - Flatcharm Bing A Ling At Shennanjoy

Balanced young man with lovely one piece head on good length of neck, straight front, well ribbed, adequate rear angulation with good muscle tone, moved out well.

3rd Churchard’s - Flatcharm Dark Secret At Churchking

Another with good overall balance, typical one piece head with correct shaped eye, good spring of rib, level topline, short in loin, adequate rear angulation, looked good on the move.

1st Bellamy’s - Affinity Promises Kept For Woodfinch (ai) (Imp Can)

Just loved this boys clean balanced outline, loveliest of moulded heads on good length of neck, shoulders well placed, well ribbed, firm topline, moderate turn of stifle, moved with good reach but just needs to strengthen at the rear on the move.

2nd Durrant’s - Glenturret Wet My Whistle JW

Another well balanced boy with typical head and dark eye, clean neck into a good lay of shoulder, straight forelegs, deep chest, moderate turn of stifle, moved out sound and true.

3rd Pierce’s - Wychwizard Forester At Tarnmillcrag JW

Yet another well balanced male, with lovely moulded head, straight front, good rear angulation, moved out well with good driving movement.

1st Holland’s - Flatcharm Paper Snow Ghost

Well balanced Junior with classic one piece head on reachy neck, good fore chest, firm topline, moderate turn of stifle, moved out well with good reach and drive.

2nd Parmee’s - Everblack Enjoying Life

Two year old with good balance outline, typical masculine head on good length of neck, straight forelegs, deep chest, short loin, strong quarters, neat hocks, moved with drive.

3rd Stott’s - Steelriver Isle View Raven

Another two year old with balanced head on lengthy neck, has good overall balanced, moved with good reach but just a little close at the rear 

Graduate Dog 5/2a

1st Bright’s - Hopevalley Morning Magic JW

Quality boy with excellent angulation at front and rear, classic head with dark eye, clean neck, level topline, well ribbed, short loin, strong quarters with good width, just loved his free flowing movement 

2nd Gordon’s - Oiyou Waldorf 

Mature 2 year old typical in head, lengthy neck into a good well lay shoulder, deep chest, short in loin, adequate turn of stifle, was sound and true on the move.

3rd Stott’s - Steelriver Isle Veiw Raven

Another 2 year old with pleasing head and expression, straight forelegs, firm topline, adequate rear angulation, just lacking the movement of 1 and 2.

1st Jeffries - Mandaral Meet Jules

Well balanced boy with well proportioned head and typical expression, straight front, well laid shoulders, good spring of rib, short coupled, strong quarters with good angulation, moved out well to take this class.

2nd Gribble’s - Jazzanraga Adventure 

Another with good overall balance, lovely one piece head with correct shaped eye, good spring of rib, level topline, short in loin, adequate rear angulation, looked good on the move.

3rd Broadbent’s - Gemswin I Am Sailing JW

Stronger headed boy of lovely type, is well angulated at front and rear, was in excellent coat and condition, moved out sound and true.

Lovely balanced male typical in head and expression, reachy neck into well placed shoulders, excellent length of upper arm, deep chest, short in loin, firm topline with correct tail set, was so sound and true on the move, from his strong quarters, considered for the CC.

2nd Clark’s - Hurstclough Night Owl At Flanova

Quality boy similar to one in overall balance, loveliest of well proportioned heads with correct shaped eye, reachy neck into excellent lay of shoulder, strong topline, straight forelegs, good spring of rib, adequate rear angulation, just loved his powerful true movement.

3rd Churchard’s - Flatcharm Griffin Dark At Churchking

Another quality boy , just loved his typical one piece head and expression, similar to two in type, has excellent overall balance and construction, looking good on the move covering the ground so well.

1st Genco & Soresina’s - Diamanté Blu Uragano Ubriaco - CC, RBIS & BOSIS

This beautiful balanced male was my star of the day, just loved his classic one piece head, reachy neck set into well laid shoulders, firm strong top line which he held on the move, he’s short in loin has excellent strong well angulated quarters which produced his effortless free flowing movement, close call for BIS but we decided the bitches more accurate movement won the day.

2nd Ramunno’s - Flatcharm Serious Pig

Top quality boy with classic head on lengthy neck, shoulders well laid, firm level which he held on the move, gradually spring of rib, short square loin, moderate turn of stifle, has excellent overall balance, looking good on the move with excellent reach and drive. considered for the RCC

3rd Mullins - Seaheart Daegan At Dexanlucp

Well constructed boy who looked excellent on the move, moulded head with dark eye, deep chest, short in loin, muscular strong quarters giving good drive.

This young 7 year old just oozes quality, he has a lovely kind balanced head, typical in expression with correct shaped eye, just loved his overall balance and construction, he was so sound on the move covering the ground so well with his excellent reach and drive to take this quality class, was considered for the CC

2nd Vrubel & Vrublova’s - POL/CZE Ch Silver Moon Cedletes Oasis Of Peace

Another beautiful balanced boy who also oozes quality, he has a classic well proportioned head with true expression, excellent overall confirmation, loved his effortless free flowing movement, was presented in superb coat and condition and handled to perfection.

3rd Genco & Soresina’s - Multi Ch Diamanté Blu Chilkoot

Yet another beautiful balanced boy of 7 years, lovely type with classic head, he is well constructed with excellent overall balance, looking so well on the move covering the ground so well with his reach and drive.

2nd May’s - Ronevorg Dark Angel At Lussac JW, SGWC, ShCEx, OSW

Another well constructed boy of smaller type, straight forelegs, good depth of chest, short in loin, well muscled quarters, adequate rear angulation, just loosing his topline a shade on the move.

VHC in the very strong Champion class but worthy winner here, typical in head with true expression, strong clean neck, firm level topline with correct tail set, short in loin, strong quarters with good muscle tone, moved out well.

Good size male with balanced head on reachy neck, deep in chest, adequate turn of stifle, moved with good reach just a shade close at the rear.
