Pumi

Rachael Salter – Irisaddition

I would like to sincerely thank the committee of the West of England Ladies Kennel Society for inviting me to judge the Hungarian Pumi’s and for making me feel so welcome. I had a thoroughly enjoyable day. My sincere thanks also go to all the exhibitors who entered under me and entrusted me with their much loved dogs. I was delighted with the quality of the exhibits presented and greatly appreciated the sporting manner in which my decisions were received.

Class 2232 Veteran Dog 0

Class 2233 Junior Dog (2)

1st Csulli Tommy Tucker

A very promising six-month old male who was attending his first show. He has a lovely head and expression, with good pigment and correct dentition. The beginnings of a good curly coat, together with a well-constructed front assembly. He presented himself confidently for one so young and has plenty of potential for the future. Best Puppy in Breed

2nd Serteperti Kuplunk

A nine-month-old male who was clearly going through a growth stage and appeared a little up on leg, leaving him slightly out of proportion at present. He has a correct head and ears and a particularly impressive coat. A promising youngster who should come together as he matures.

Class 2234 Post Graduate Dog (4, 2 absent)

1st Bellpins Zigazigah at Yolstek

A well-balanced 2½-year-old male with a lovely head, correct ears and good pigment. Clean in outline, with good bone and a correctly constructed rear. A quality, masculine exhibit who presented a very pleasing overall picture. Reserve Best Dog

2nd Schnaubern Gienah Star Over Philandros

An 18-month-old grey male, slightly taller than the winner. He has a good head and eye, although I would have preferred a better ear placement. He was rather lacking in coat on the day, but has plenty of time to mature and develop.

Class 2235 Open Dog (3)

1st IR/BEL/NLD CH Breezelyn Ear Sumut Special CW25 DW25 BW25

A superb 7-year-old veteran male with a really lovely head and excellent breed type. Correct ears and good pigment, complemented by a lovely coat. Well muscled and presented in hard condition, he was beautifully shown and maintained a pleasing, balanced outline. A quality dog who thoroughly deserved his awards. Best Dog, Best of Breed and Best Veteran

2nd Heathbank Miksa

A nearly 4-year-old male with a lovely coat displaying the correct curl. Good head, eye and ears, together with correct dentition and good pigment. Well balanced and correctly proportioned, presenting a pleasing overall picture.

Class 2236 Veteran Bitch 0

Class 2237 Junior Bitch (1)

1st Bellpins I Bet You Do

A feminine year-old bitch who appeared a little leggy and still has some maturing to do. She has a good head, correct ears, good pigment and correct dentition. I would have preferred more angulation through the shoulder, but she is still developing and has time on her side.

Class 2238 Post Graduate Bitch (7, 2 absent)

1st Csulli Lemonade Kisses

A 3-year-old white bitch of good shape and overall balance. She has a pleasing head and eye, with good pigment, and was presented in fit condition. Well proportioned throughout, with a good tail set, she presented a very pleasing overall picture.

2nd Arkosligeti Kocos Hajnal

A young 19-month-old grey bitch whose coat was changing on the day. She has a good head and eye but appeared a little tall at this stage of her development. She is still growing and has plenty of time to mature and come together.

Class 2239 Open Bitch (6, 1 absent)

1st Blacktide Another Star

A quality cream bitch, nearly 3 years old, with excellent pigment. She has a good head and eye, correct ears and good dentition. Well proportioned throughout and moved with lovely balance, presenting a very pleasing overall picture. Best Bitch

2nd BE/NLD/IR CH Breezelyn Ears A Breakthrou For Alepenkye ShCEx CW25 DW25

A 4½-year-old grey bitch, slightly smaller than the winner but displaying good overall balance. She has a correct head, eye and ears, together with good dentition. A quality exhibit who presented a pleasing and well-proportioned outline. Reserve Best Bitch
