1st MOORE’S Tangaer Jump For Joy

Smart youngster with a pleasing head and expression. Correctly rustic in appearance with a good harsh coat. Nicely balanced overall, with good angulation front and rear. Moved with an easy, free profile gait. Still needs to mature and come together, but plenty to like. BSB.

Puppy Dog (3,1)

1st ALLENBY & ALLENBY’S Rangali Franknfurter

10 months. Promising puppy with a balanced head and pleasing expression. Good harsh coat and a nicely proportioned outline. Moved cleanly out and back and showed an easy, free action in profile. One with plenty of promise as he matures. BPIB.

2nd FORDHAM’S Soletrader Field Marshal

Loved this puppy, but at present he is just a little too ten-to-two in front. Very appealing in profile, moving freely and easily, but needs time to tighten when coming towards. Another promising youngster and I could readily see these two changing places as they mature.

Very pleasing young dog with a correct harsh coat, attractive head and typical expression. Sufficient bone without coarseness and presented a balanced, compact outline. An easy, active mover in profile and clean both coming and going. A quality young dog who thoroughly deserved BD & BOB.

1st REID’S Ch Maudaxi Billy Bookcase

2 years. Pleasing head and expression. Well balanced and proportioned throughout, with a good rough coat of correct texture. Moved freely and easily in profile and remained clean both coming and going. A very sound, typical exhibit. RBD.

2nd CROWE, REID & REID’S Maudaxi Fonzie Foxtrot

3 years. Another very pleasing dog with a good head and expression. Balanced in outline and particularly attractive moving in profile, where he showed an easy, active gait. A close decision between these two and one that could easily be reversed on another day.

3rd FORDHAM’S Elsfie Monsieur Oakley

A beautifully balanced bitch who moved like a dream. Lovely head and expression, good bone and well angulated front and rear. Correct rough, harsh coat and presented a very pleasing, typical outline. Her free, easy movement particularly impressed. RBB.

2nd MOORE’S Tangaer Jump For Joy

Previously critiqued, although she settled and moved better this time around.

Yearling Bitch (2,1)

1st REID’S Maudaxi Rebel Diamonds JW

22 months. A pleasing bitch of good make and shape. Her front still needs to develop and mature, but she is nicely balanced overall. A very easy mover, light and active on her feet, with a good rough coat.

Open Bitch (5,2)

1st CADMORE & CADMORE’S Ch Soletrader Splish Splash JW

A quality bitch of lovely overall balance, with a pleasing head and typical expression. Correct harsh coat texture and a well-proportioned outline. Her movement was excellent, free, active and easy, covering the ground effortlessly. She certainly gave her handler a hard time today, but her quality could not be overlooked and she is every inch a worthy Champion. BB.

2nd MOORE’S Probert Calypso

Pleasing head and expression. A little out of coat today, but presented in hard, well-muscled condition. A steady, sound mover and particularly attractive in profile.

3rd SCOTT & BRUNDLE’S Overbecks Ruby Shelby

Pleasing head with a good rough coat. Moved with an easy, free gait. Another nice bitch and close enough to second that the placings could readily change on another day.
