Always a delight to judge at Crufts, the highest profile and watched dog show in the world, thank you the RKC, Tom Mather and all the team.

Lowchen (Little Lion Dog) (Day 3).

Most handlers in this breed, showed support to their fellow exhibitors, shaking hands and clapping the winners. But- Oops, we had a handler have a bit of a tantrum when I placed the bitch 2nd in open. The handler threw her dummy out of the pram – at the most visible dog show in the word. So, you want to show everyone how disrespectful you are! Do you really think that this is the way to behave for the good of dog showing, especially at Crufts, where the world’s eyes are watching. Tut Tut!

Most exhibitors would be delighted to win a second prise card at Crufts and not feel the need to throw them in the bin.

1ST 13216 - Kerryken Keir Rob ShCEx (Miss L Mcfarlane) Pleasing older dog. He decent head piece and was presented in good order for his age. He was easy on the eye moving with decent stride. Not overdone in conditions retains shape. he was well presented.

2ND 13218 - Glendyke Oops My Halo Slipped (Miss L & Mrs J Mcfarlane). Nicely proportioned and presented in lovely body. He had lovely coat and skin. He just lacks the stride of the winner, but has good foot fall.

1ST 13231 - Quintrix Trinity Trevor (Ms K J & Miss M L Sampson). Pleasing head on this 2-year-old. He has a flat skull, ears, are well placed and fringed, he has clean eye with friendly outlook. Well-fitting lip, maybe could have a slightly stronger underjaw. He is squarely built, with firm back. Presented in good coat and moved with Hadler.

2ND 13235 - Sharlarna Ralph Lauren for Khandro (Mr R & Mr J Sproul & Coburn). Well-presented and he has lovely character. He can look a touch long at times and doesn’t always hold his topline on the mover, but he is lively and active.

1ST 13212 - Ch Jameneli Back to Black (Mrs J Graham). I enjoyed judging this breed and found what I wanted. However, this dog actually stood away from the competitors. Both dog and handler put on a sterling performance of unity and class. Nothing outlandish, just quiet, with professional commitment and fluid, lively, true ground cover. He has a love of life and was produced in superb body with smooth skin and healthy, soft, wavy coat, over excellent skeletal construction. CC-BOB. Very proud to see him, deservedly, shortlisted in the group. Well done

2ND 13214 - Sk/hun Ch Call of Cutey Yanewi Int/cz/sk/aut/hun/ba/me/rom Jch (Ms Alena Horackova). 2 -year. male and displayed really quality. In size, shape and balance. he was presented in fit body that was just right to show a true outline and he was soundly built and muscled to exhibit smooth effortless gait. He worked and looked so very well, richly deserving of the RES CC.

3RD 13226 - Hollinsclose As It Was (Mrs D A & Miss Z A Richardson). Typy and balanced with leg to depth and good proportions. His attributed meant that he fitted in the line up with the winners well.

1ST 13220 - Ch/int Ch/multi Ch Jadechar Flashback Hero (Mrs M & Miss J Pascoe). This 7-year. He is masculine with clean line. Pleased in head with round dark eye old, has that charming cheekiness that often comes with age. Dark round expressive eye, Clean through to short muzzle with good bite. He has decent body under profuse coat and used himself well on the move. BV.

1ST 13217 - Glendyke Dancing On Ice (Miss L & Mrs J Mcfarlane). Very feminine young bitch, who seemed a touch overawed initially on arrival in the ring, but her Hadler was calm and she settled into a sound gay little bitch. She satisfied me to lay hands on as she has good conformation. Produced in lovely condition and performed to put on a good display.

1ST 13209 - Golbourne Dazzling Diamond (Ms D Dixon). Smart, sassy and feminine, but nothing weak. Everything fitted from her appealing head, through her balanced body to her placed and used tail and firm buttocks.She had good deportment on the move going round. BP.

2ND 13236 - Stoneside Enchantress for Khandro (Mr R & Mr J Sproul & Coburn). Has lots to offer, but not quite there mentally at times today. She has features to grow into and decent construction, providing tidy, just needs time. foot fall

3RD 13239 - Prodigieux Serendipity (Miss J & Mrs M Winter & Bicknell-Marren). Smart and well produced, I would just like a touch more strength in foreface. Each in this class had something to offer.

1ST 13227 - Hollinsclose Love Machine (Mrs D A & Miss Z A Richardson).13- month very useful, honest young bitch. She appeals in head, has carriage of neck from lay of shoulder and neat elbow from return of upper arm, she has corresponding angulation behind, therefore balance and stride in action. Turned out and handled well.

2ND 13239 - Prodigieux Serendipity (Miss J & Mrs M Winter & Bicknell-Marren). Repeat.

2ND 13234 - Jim's Gift (Miss H & Mr M & Mrs L Skippings & Gough & Havens). 19-month youngster with a lovely character. She was well presented and handled and went enjoying her time here. Could have a little bigger eye and a touch more angulation.

1ST 13222 - Hollinsclose The Promise for Bratilda (Mrs C, Miss L, Miss B & Miss A Patterson). I was really taken by this quality bitch. Beautiful head, skull ear with long Frings, expressive eye, correct stop to strong muzzle, not too long and good width of jaw. She has clean arched neck firm filled back with short loin, to correct tail and use. There is good rump, strong hocks and produced in body and coat. She stormed the class, was a bit cheeky in the challenge, but her quality shone through to the RES CC.

2ND 13210 - Cluneen Causing Chaos (Miss F & Fr J Fahey & Shire). Againe expertly handled to produce a really good picture, both standing and moving. A really lovely sort, with balance and firm outline depicting the breed well. presented in prime order, both body and coat.

3RD 13237 - Prodigieux Amazing Amber (Miss J Winter). Liked so much of what she has to offer and she was handled really well, to let her personality and style shine through.

Entries: 6 Absentees: 2. As one would want ,a decent class.

1ST 13228 - Ch Shysu Bewitched Hollinsclose (Imp Aus) (Mrs D A & Miss Z A Richardson). This one took the class on her femininity with strength and excellent construction. She excelled in head proportions, strong, yet feminine and a sweetness and charm of outlook froom her dark round eye, the good stop and filled muzzle with strong jaw. She has a dry filled, arch neck. Correct rib to short muscular loin and level backline. Expertly produced in body and coat and has sound ,lively action working with handler to advantage. CC

2ND 13211 - Ch/ir Ch/fin Ch Dart's Defender Nothing Compares to You Cluneen Ww 25 (Miss F & Fr J Fahey & Shire). As the handler turned to face the back of the ring, with her bitch in front of her it was impossible for me to write the report. However, the bitch moved nicely in this good class, but I would have preferred a touch more width of underjaw, which the first placed bitch had, as did the limit bitch.

3RD 13208 - Kerryken Ritzy (Mrs M Bicknell/marren). Lively, fit with great personality. Well done to have her in such lovley condtion and handler worked with her well.
