Darlington Dog Show Society Ltd

Breed: Hungarian Puli

I wish to express my sincere thanks to the Officials and Committee of Darlington Championship Dog Show where I had the absolute privilege to award my first set of Challenge Certificates, thank you to my two stewards Ron & Mark you both were great and helped create a relaxed atmosphere and thank you to the Exhibitors. Not a huge entry but I did have some lovely quality Puli’s to judge who were all presented with clean coats and good temperaments, however I did have a couple of exhibits with quite dirty teeth, it really is so important for gum/mouth health to ensure your Puli’s teeth are clean.

VD (1) – 1. Cowley Ch Callendu Despicable Me at Kashbeluli Sh.cm, ShCEX, VW 12 yr old Black and my notes simply read WOW.. have judged him in the past and today I must say today is the best I have ever seen him move he absolutely took my breath away. He has a lovely correctly proportioned masculine head, nice eye and correct bite and pigment, he is so well balanced front to rear with particularly pleasing well laid shoulder leading into a correctly angulated upper arm, good deep rib cage, short loin. He is well muscled on the rear with well bent stifles and nice low hocks. Coat well clean and well presented. This boy really flew the flag for Veterans today was taking no prisoners and in the challenge I could not deny him DCC,BV & BOB, he is a credit to his Breeders & Owners.

LD (2) 1 Absent – 1. Rhodes Tyngeli Wishful Thinking 2yr old who is maturing nicely, coat cording well, good for size, nice front and rear but is looking a little long and not so square at this time. Good head and eye. Presented well and moved well.

OD (2) – 1. Cowley Ch Kashbeluli There We Are Then JW, ShCEx, OSW 4yrs and Son to my CC winner, good for size presented in fabulous coat, strong masculine head of correct proportions with correct stop and good pigment. Bite and dentition correct. Nice length of neck and good front, good depth of chest, top line and short loin. Well set tail, with pleasing rear angulation, toned and well-muscled. Today he was just not settled on the move in his class and challenge RDCC. 2. Fulton Ch Prima Enso Boreas For Cordante (Imp Ltu) 7yr, another lovely boy with good head proportions and eye. Good for size and square, presented well in good coat, again like my class winner was unsettled on the move and crabbing.

PB (2) Lees Magubo? Alma (Hun Imp) 10mths delightful young lady, correct fine bone, head nice size with correct stop, good muzzle with correct bite. Moved with confidence with smooth side gait, needs to tighten front and rear but she is only a baby and will in time no doubt. Very feminine, coat starting to cord, like her a lot BP. 2 – Rhodes Matyofoldi-Kisbojtar Olivia 12mths another very nice example, my notes read 2 lovely puppies and I am sure they will swap places at many shows, again a correct head sweet expression with good dark eye and fine bone, slightly larger but also has larger coat which is starting to cord. Not showing the confidence as my class winner but I am sure she will settle in time. I look forward to watching these two very promising girls mature.

Well laid shoulder, tight elbows and nice short loin, well angulated rear, muscled with good stifles and low hocks.
