Three Counties Agricultural Society

Thankyou to my two stewards for keeping my ring running smoothly and to the committee for inviting me to judge and there hospitality, on the whole I was very pleased with my result’s.

I think there is some exciting young standards about but I do think we need to be improving on fronts as there are some which would benefit from improved front assembly. Presentation which again was good but having too much coat can spoil a dogs shape just the same as not having enough so if your not sure then ask or take photos to look at,but thank you all for your entries

1ST 1286 - Funkypp Showtime (Miss Ks Allegretti)

What a lovely start to my day with 2 lovely puppies, my winner was the 10 month upstanding black with a masculine head but not heavy he had a lovely dark eye with pleasing expression, long neck to which he used on the move to give a lovely outline he has a straight front and good deep fore chest tight feet but on the move he tends to throw his front a little coming towards you but once he settles gets better he’s only young and just needs to tighten but that should come with maturity, good tail set and carriage, loved his attitude well handled BPIB

 2ND 1309 - Zantescwtch Pinball Wizard (Mrs K Mcloughlin)

7 months black not as mature as the winner in body at the moment but still has a lot to like he has a lovely refined head and poodley expression good chin he has a good reach of neck lovely shape when stacked his movement was steady and balanced and I’m sure these two will swap places in the future he has a good coat which was well presented stood on good feet short coupled with good tail set

1ST 1317 - Tafari Odin The Raven God (Miss C L Thomas)

Upstanding 14 month black heavier type with a lovely dark eye good foreface and correct stop, good chin and dentition he has a profuse coat for his age and of good texture but he would benefit from some tailoring of his coat as when he stands, he tends to lose his outline and makes him look ungainly on the move, he has a lot to like under all that coat as he has a good straight front enough neck and deep chest, muscular thighs good tail carriage

2ND 1303 - Jupiter von Den Ruhrpottlockchen (Mrs M. Gorduna)

14 months much smaller type fine head with nice shape eye but would like a darker eye tight feet good tail set on the move he needs to tighten in front as a little bit erratic would just like a bit more of him all round

A very honest boy who presents the most wonderful shape when stood he has a lovely textured well-presented coat, his head is balanced for his size good chin dark expressive eyes good bone, tight feet good depth to chest well rounded rib cage well covered body optimum angulation front and back on the move he is so balanced and steady not losing his outline ,how he has matured on since the last time I judged him as a puppy and his handler has definitely gained more confidence was so pleased to award him the RES CC today

Upstanding quality black with a wealth of coat and is presented to advantage, he has a refined foreface and backskull his eyes are dark with a lovely gentle expression yet he gives that look of arrogance when he looks at you ,excellent reach of neck into well laid shoulders tight feet good depth of chest short loin good rear angles well-muscled on the move he is so light on his feet very stylish he was an easy winner for me in this class and he is still only young so sure there is more to come CC and later on was pleased to award BOB

2ND 1319 - Ch Niaveera See What Lies Ahead JW (Miss S & Mrs S Wilson & Spoors)

Refined black lovely dark eye and expression, good reach of neck straight front but I would like to see better length of upper arm as he tends to be a bit untidy in front good depth of rib correct tail set and adequate rear angles he is in his new trim but needs to grow into it he wasn’t very co-operative today for his handler his mind seemed to be elsewhere which meant his movement was unbalanced did call him back in for the res cc but he couldn’t match the balanced steady movement of the limit winner
