Border Union Agricultural Society

Breed: Skye Terrier

Border Union Championship Show 14/06/2026

I firstly want to say a huge thank you for the amazing entry, I was blown away by this and for allowing me to go over your dogs. I have looked forward to judging at this beautiful show.

Overall the entry were well coated, good fronts and well muscled but there were a few Skye’s that were carrying a little to much weight. Which in turn can be detrimental to their health. Having been asked to complete a kennel club breed watch form which looks at health monitoring of the breeds as a whole. We need to be careful that the Skye says within their healthy weight range otherwise you may be asked to leave the ring as they do not conform to the standard/ Breed health watch.
