My thanks also go to my hard working stewards who kept everything running smoothly and efficiently. Finally, thank you to the exhibitors for their excellent entry and for accepting my decisions in such a sporting manner. Overall, a thoroughly enjoyable appointment with many quality dogs to go over.

Junior Dog and Dog CC, a quality young male of excellent type and balance. Pleasing head with correct expression, good length of ear and typical harsh coat. Good reach of neck into well laid shoulders, giving a clean, workmanlike outline. Well proportioned throughout with good body and length, standing over sufficient ground with correct substance. Hindquarters well developed for his age. Moved out freely and true, covering the ground with purpose. In excellent condition and presented to advantage. A very promising youngster who rightly took top honours today.

Post Graduate Dog, a well made male of good type and balance. Pleasing head with typical expression and correct harsh coat. Good reach of neck into well laid shoulders, giving a clean, workmanlike outline. Well bodied with good length and substance, standing over sufficient ground. The hindquarters are sound and balanced. Moved out well with a steady, true action. In good condition and shown to advantage. A solid, honest exhibit.

2nd, another good dog of a pleasing type. Balanced throughout with a typical outline and adequate substance. Moved out well with a steady action and showed to advantage.

First in Veteran Dog, a well preserved male who belies his years. Typical head with correct expression and good harsh coat. Balanced throughout with a pleasing, workmanlike outline. Well bodied with adequate substance and stands over sufficient ground. Moved out steadily and soundly, holding his shape on the move. In good condition for his age and a credit to his owner.

Second in Veteran Dog, a pleasing exhibit who also belies his years. Typical head and expression with a good coat. Balanced throughout and presents a workmanlike outline. Well bodied and stands over sufficient ground. Moved out steadily and soundly, maintaining his shape. In good condition for his age and shown to advantage.

Moved out freely and confidently, covering the ground well. In excellent condition and presented to advantage. A very promising puppy with a bright future.

Moved out freely and true with purpose, covering the ground effortlessly. A joy to watch and a very worthy winner.

2nd, Reserve CC, another quality exhibit pushing hard for top honours. Very similar in type with a balanced outline and good construction throughout. Moved out well with a steady, true action, also a pleasure to watch on the move. Just preferred the overall finish of my winner on the day.
