Petit Basset Griffon Vendeen & Basset Fauve De Bretagne.

Miss Megan Anderson

A bit thank you to the committee for inviting me to judge! It was lovely to get my hands on some outstanding exhibits and to judge two breeds that I love so very dearly. A big thank you to my stewards for keeping my ring running so smoothly.

Puppy 1:0

1, Ward MOCHRAS MAHSTERCLASS

a youngster who is going through his awkward phase, good head of pleasing proportions, correct ear set and length, dark eye, good length of neck into well laid shoulders, strong front, good length of rib, well angulated, moved well, a bit more maturity will do him good.

Junior 2:0

A strong class, both dogs pushed eachother hard.

1, Allenby REVENITE SARGENT WILSON FOR RANGALI

good head, correct shape, dark eye with kind expression, correct ear set and length, correct length of neck, well set shoulder leading to a good front, prominent forechest, good depth of chest and length of rib, good bend of stifle, moved very well, RBD

2, Leech MOCHRAS MAHLORD RUPERT JW

I preferred this boys head, very hound like, dark eye, correct ears, good length of neck and lay back of shoulder, lovely front, well extended rib, good rear end, moved well, going through a teenager phase so his proportions are a bit off, I look forward to seeing fully matured.

Open 3:0

1, Leech MOCHRAS MAHMALADE BY JAMCHALA JW

I’ve judged this bitch before and if I remember correctly I thought she was a touch heavy, oh I take that back now! She was in absolute top form, one of the best heads, good eye and pigment, correct ear set and length, good length of neck into lovely shoulder and front, prominent sternum, good depth of chest, ribs extended back well, good topline, lovely bend of stifle, she moved with such power and drive and looked outstanding in the group. BB, BOB.

2, Leech & Thornton CH MOCHRAS MAHGAUX JW

Another I have judged before and gave BB to last time. I can’t expand on anything I have said previously, pushed her sister in this class but decided that jumping was far more fun than proper movement.

3, Horn & Betty MOCHRAS MAHJESTY

Veteran 1:0

1, Leech & Thornton CH MOCHRAS MAHCUSHLA IRJCH

I have followed this dog since she came out for veteran and was delighted to get my hands on her, feminine head of good proportions, sweet expression, dark eye, correct ears, good neck, well laid shoulder, excellent front, good depth of chest and length of rib, lovely rear end, she propelled herself around the ring like a youngster, a worthy champion.
