1ST Stanegate Sweetest Thing at Shelseivad (Ms E & Mrs H Davies)

An appealing young male of good type, presenting a smart, upstanding outline with plenty of breed character. Masculine head with a well-domed skull, strong square muzzle and keen, alert expression. Well-arched neck leading into well placed shoulders, deep chest and the characteristic barrel-shaped ribcage developing nicely. Correct coat texture with crisp curls and ringlets with good presentation. Moved with reach and drive, displaying the breed's typical rolling action when settled. Full of enthusiasm and possessing an endearing sense of humour true to the breed; at times his exuberance tested the skills of his handler, a promising young dog with much to admire and a bright future as he gains maturity. Although he stood alone, a worthy winner and pleased to award him Best Dog & Best Opposite sex in Breed.

A lovely 10-month-old youngster who already shows much to like and promises an exciting future. Feminine throughout, with a pleasing head and expression, good neck and shoulder placement, and a balanced outline typical of the breed. Displays correct coat texture and developing ringlets, with excellent presentation. Moved freely with good reach and drive. Retains the delightful clown-like nature and sense of humour so characteristic of the breed yet is impressively well schooled for one so young. A promising bitch with plenty of quality and maturity still to come.

1ST Sh Ch Nyllaup Akoya Pearl for Grakar JW ShCEx OSW (Mr G, Mrs K & Miss Z Stirk)

A super impressive bitch of excellent breed type and quality. She has a lovely head and expression, undoubtedly one of the best I have had the pleasure to judge, full of femininity, intelligence and that unmistakable breed character. Presented and conditioned to perfection, with crisp curls and ringlets that completed a most attractive picture. Well arched neck, flowing into correctly placed shoulders, deep through the chest with well-sprung barrel ribs carried well back, level topline and powerful hindquarters. On the move she was a delight to watch, covering the ground with ease, showing true reach and drive together with the breed's characteristic rolling action. Her excellent movement is a direct reflection of her sound construction and overall balance. Delighted to award her Best Bitch and Best of Breed.
