Lowchen (Little Lion Dog) Club

Breed: Lowchen (Little Lion Dog)

It’s always a pleasure judging my beautiful breed, thank you to the Lowchen (Little Lion Dog) Club for the delightful honour of being invited to judge at the breeds Club Championship Show.

I was very pleased with all my main winners.

BCC, BIS - Pascoe’s, Cleeview End Result

DCC, RBIS, BPIS - McFarlane’s, Quintrix Misletoe And Wine

RBCC, BVIS - Koning & Pascoe’s, Ch, Int Ch Jadechar English Rose

RDCC - Pascoe’s, Ch, Int/Multi Ch Jadechar Flashback Hero

MPD:

Mcfarlane’s, Quintrix Mistletoe And Wine. A delightful very promising puppy with a lovely well balanced head and good width of back skull. Large dark round expressive eyes and well placed ears. Excellent for size, bone and substance, moved well in the challenge holding firm topline so pleased to award him the DCC.

LD:

1) Kirby’s, Jameneli Buzz The Buzzard. A well up to size boy but carries a good head of correct proportions. Enough neck and good bone, would like more rear angulation, moved well.

2) Sproul & Coburn’s, Sharlarna Ralph Lauren For Khandro. B/C boy with an appealing head of good proportions and with good muzzle, nice round dark eyes and well sprung ribs, he didn’t hold his topline and rear movement let him down today.

OD:

1) Pascoe & Kining-Ouwerkerk’s, BiH/Slo Ch Jadechar Genisys.

A lovely black and silver male, good for size, well built with plenty of substance and strong masculine head of good proportions and with a lovely expression. Good for neck topline and rear angulation, well presented coat of silky texture, sadly in the challenge he decided to misbehave and give his handler a hard time.

VD:

1) Pascoe’s, Ch.Int/Multi Ch Jadechar Flashback Hero. Is no secret I have judged this boy before and awarded him the CC/BOB. My opinion hasn’t changed, he’s an excellent specimen of the breed, masculine with a clean line and true to breed type with the most handsome correctly balanced head and beautiful soft silky coat. He moves sound holding his topline.

2) Sproul & Coburn’s, Danack’s A Million Reasons For Khandro. A lively male with a relatively broad skull, ears well set nice straight front and good angulation, moved OK

PB:

1) Kirby’s, Jameneli Rita Ora. A cream sable bitch of lovely size, balance and shape, a pretty head with correct dark eyes, I would have liked a little more width of back skull. Nice ear set with good fringing. A good front and rib cage, in good coat moved well both away and back.

JB:

1) Sproul & Coburn’s, Stoneside Enchantress. Black and Cream with a pretty feminine head which is correctly balanced with a gentle soft expression. Enough neck and good shoulder placement, would prefer a bit more chest, a nice silky coat, moved well holding a good set tail.

2) Pascoe’s, Jadechar Killer Queen. A lovely well balanced black and cream bitch of excellent size and shape with the prettiest head of correct proportion with strong muzzle, beautiful dark eyes giving a gentle expression. A good neck into a well placed shoulder, straight front with good bone. She wasn’t happy today and wouldn’t lift her tail, but moved well going round.

LB:

1) Bush’s, Bundo Mums The Word. Black and Cream with pleasing head, broad skull and good muzzle. Dark round eyes giving intelligent expression. Good neck into well layed shoulders, good body with level topline, good rear angles and correctly set tail held well on the move.

OB:

1) Pascoe’s, Cleeview End Result. Feminine with strength and excellent construction. She excelled in her beautiful correctly balanced head proportions, her dark round eyes gave the sweetest of expressions. A good stop and filled muzzle with strong jaw. A good neck into a well laid shoulder, correct firm ribs and firm level topline. Moved with purpose and style under a soft silky coat going around the ring carrying a correct set tail.

VB:

1) Koning-Ouwerkerk’s, Ch /Multi Ch Jadechar English Rose. A bitch I’ve had the pleasure of judging before as a youngster. A beautiful correctly balanced head with good back skull, expressive dark round eyes and well set ears. Enough neck with good ribs and strong rump and hocks, shown in excellent coat, a bit cheeky in the challenge but her quality shone through moving with purpose.
