Many thanks to the stewards Andrew and Mel who kept everything running smoothly.  A lovely venue, with super in/out rings of a good size, a very welcoming committee and great organisation.  Such a lovely breed to judge, all bites were good and all were shown with correct coats and condition, with the required feathering, all temperaments were good.  Springy gait not always evident.

Large Munsterlander -  SBD/B (3,1) 1st  Crook’s Echobase Shining Star 18mth This young bitch has the most super head, elongated, correct eye of good colour and high set ears, presenting a soft expression. Her slightly arched neck flows into her shoulders with a good length of upper arm.  Her chest will still develop further as she matures, ribs well back, and strong in her loin.  Balanced rear angulation to her front, well set tail, carried correctly on the move.  She won this class on her movement, which was balanced showing some drive and reach.  She paced initially but eventually settled into her stride.  BSD  2nd  Hemingway’s Leriton Hercules 18mth dog.  Just slightly longer cast than 1st and not quite as mature in body and movement.  Masculine in his head with a lovely expression from correct eyes and ear set. Balanced in his front and rear angulation, chest depth like the winner will continue to drop as he matures.  Well sprung ribs and strong loin.  On the move just not quite as clean out and back.  He needs to mature all round and his handler did well to get the best from him. 

PD (1,0) Welsh’s Reinstwasser Gustav 8mth A lovely young male, well handled. Has a nice head, with a super expression from well set eyes and ears.  His slightly arched neck flowed to his shoulders with a good length of upper arm, but could do with a tad more front angulation and more height to his withers.  Chest to still mature and ribs still to fully spring.  Strong couplings.  Balanced in his rear angulation.  Held his topline on the move but just a tad too much slope to his croup, lowering his tailset.  Movement as expected for his age, but will tighten as he matures. BPD/BPIB 

JD (3,0) 1st Jenks’ Albadhu Force Be With Be With You 16mths.  This is a super young dog, full of breed type, a soft expression from his elongated head, slightly rounded in his skull with enough masculinity.  Super eye and ear set.  His strong, slight arched neck led to well angulated shoulders, and correct height to his withers.  Enough depth in his chest for his age.  Well sprung ribs and short coupled, through to his super rear angulation which he used well on the move.  Held his topline, with his well set tail and carriage.  Shown in lovely coat and condition.   A little more animation in his movement would complete the picture, I am sure will have a good future ahead of him. 2nd   Dunsmore’s Leriton Centarus 17 mth.  Enjoying his day in the ring, making his handler work very hard who did very well.  Taller and longer cast than 1st with slightly less bone.  Another super head.  His neck has a slight arch and he has lovely front angulation from well laid shoulders.  Chest will continue to drop as he matures.  Well sprung in his ribs, just a little longer coupled than others.  Not quite the rear angulation to balance his shoulders which showed on the move, not producing quite the clean drive required, to balance his lovely front reach.  

PGD (1,0) 1st Pilkington’s Albadhu Playing with Fire at Baycross JW 20mth. This is another super young male, full of breed type.  Really liked his head, elongated, super expression from his kind eye and high set ear.  Balanced in his front and rear angulation, chest still needs to drop a tad more to present a clean picture from front on.  Has super bone, well sprung ribs, short coupled and strong over his loin. Well set tail and strong in his topline which he held on the move, having a lovely side gait.  Has drive and front reach.  What was testament to this young dog, is his handler suffered an injury (I sincerely hope nothing too serious) very early in the class, resulting in him accepting a new handler who he did not know.  Well done to handler and dog.  He should have a good future ahead of him.  

LD (2,0)  1st MacGregor’s Raycris Flame of Glory 3yr this dog has a super outline stood and is presented in muscular condition.  Masculine in his head, with no more width needed to the elongation, his head fully balanced his lovely, well boned frame.  Kind in his expression, good eye and ear set.  Strong in his neck, arched leading to his slightly high withers and well laid shoulders.  Deep in his chest, well sprung ribs, strong in his loin but feel he would benefit from being a tad shorter coupled.  Balanced in his rear angulation.  His tail is well set and has good carriage on the move.  Needed a little more animation on the move. 2nd James’ Darkensky Supremacy 6yr.  A far smaller stature dog than 1st.  Loved his super head, elongated, slight round in the skull, super expression eye and ear.  Like 1st presented a super outline stood, which made this a difficult class to judge.  Deep in his chest, balanced front and rear just not as clean in his movement out and back, and has a slightly higher tail carriage.  

OD (3,0) A difficult class as all possessed breed type and individual qualities but movement was the deciding factor. 1st Suchett-Kaye’s Bosko Vom Ahler Esch with Settskaye (Imp Deu) 6yr well boned, undoubtedly male but with not a hint of coarsness.  Upstanding in his outline, and balanced in his movement, being true out and back, a lovely side gait, reach and drive.  Elongated head, slightly rounded skull, super expression from his well set eye and high ear.  So much strength in his neck to well laid shoulders, with good length of upper arm.  Deep chested, well sprung ribs and just short enough coupled. Well muscled. Pleased to award him RCC. 2nd Griffiths and Griffiths-Rose’s Sh Ch Vonstrahlend Kam Das Leben. Another 6 yr old presenting a super outline stood and on the move.  Just not quite the balanced angulation or rear drive as 1st.  Similar qualities as the winner in his super head, slightly arch neck, slight height in the withers.  I would prefer him to have slightly more angulation to his upper arm. Deep chested and strong in the loin.  Well sprung ribs. Had super front reach, a pleasing side gait but not as clean in his rear movement.  Not surprised to see his has his title.  

VD (2,1)  1st MacGregor’s Sh Ch Ekkolander Snowstorm 10yr veteran who belies his age and one I found out I had awarded BIS previously.  Full of breed type from head to tail.  Presented in wonderful muscular condition.  Super elongation to his head, balanced to his lovely boned body.  Slightly rounded in his skull, super expression from his correct eye and high set ear.  Strong, slightly arched neck, correct height at the withers and well laid shoulders.  Deep in the chest, well spring ribs, strong over his loin and short coupled.  His stifle balances his front.  Strong topline held on the move with a correct tail set and carriage.  He is just beginning to show his age in his front movement, but the overall picture  and breed type presented could not deny him the CC and BOB. 

PB (0,0) JB (2,1) 1ST Johnston and Simpson’s Leriton Corvus Astron 17mth this is a super young bitch with a good future ahead of her.  Square in her outline, balanced and presenting well laid shoulders and complementary rear angulation which she used well on the move, with a lovely side gait.  Front and rear movement had reach and drive and will tighten as she continues to mature.  Pretty in the head with a lovely expression from her rounded skull and elongation.  Lovely eye and ear set.  Just enough depth to her chest for her age, well sprung ribs and strong loin and short coupled. 

PGB (2,0) 1st  Hemingway’s Xarosun Miss T’Blue  3yr Another lovely bitch presenting a pleasing outline and a wonderful side gait on the move, with reach and drive. Pretty head with all the correct proportions, well balanced front and rear angulation which she used to have reach and drive.  Slight height in the wither, strong in her topline, but I would prefer slightly less length to her loin.  Deep chested, well sprung ribs.  Was effortless in her movement with a super ground covering stride. 

LB (3,0) 1st  Darby’s Crumpsbrook Anneke to Indacar 2yr super bitch, full of breed type and presented a lovely picture stood and on the move.  Such a pretty head, with correct slightly rounded skull, elongation, clean eye and high set ear.  Feminine all round with lovely bone. Super slightly arched neck, correct height withers and well laid shoulders.  Strong in her topline.  Has good depth to her chest, well sprung ribs, strong loin and short coupled.  Her stifle balances her shoulders and she used both well on the move for reach and drive, with a super side gait. To complete the picture I would just like slightly less slope to her croup with her tail set off her back more, but no denying a lovely bitch who I am sure will gain her title.  Close decision for the CC, pleased to award her RCC.  2nd   Weber’s Dita Z Miketova Dvora (Imp Cze). 4yr another lovely bitch with similar qualities to 1st.  Just a little heavier boned than the winner but that is not a negative.  Pretty in the head with all the correct proportions, lovely neck into balanced front angulation.  Lovely body with deep chest, well sprung ribs and strong loin into good rear angulation. Lovely on the move. 

OB (2,0) 1st Butler’s Almonrigg Sweet Honey Baby at Jendella’s 2yr  A lovely bitch which I felt could be shown a little leaner.  Elongated head feminine but I would not like her to have any more width to her skull.  Lovely eye and ear.  Super front and rear angulation, deep chest, ribs well back.  Not quite the strength to her loin as some and this does show on the move, not quite holding her topline.   2nd  Johnston and Simpson’s Ekkolander Persephone Red at Leriton 5yr.  A lighter boned bitch with a pretty head of correct proportions.  Ribs well back and short coupled. Lacking depth of chest and is a little wide in front which shows on the move.  Lovely rear angulation which she used to drive on the move, but not quite the clean front movement to balance it. 

VB (2,0) 1st Wilkins’ Sh Ch Quilesta Simply Exquisite 7yr a lovely square veteran showing breed type and bone.  So much to like in her head with a soft expression from well set eyes and ears.  Elongated, correct stop and slightly rounded in her skull.  Balanced front and rear angulation with well laid shoulders and moderate in stifle.  Lovely depth to her chest, well sprung ribs and strong in the loin and couplings.  Presents a lovely picture stacked, holds her topline on the move, lovely side gait, front reach and rear drive.  Just showing her age, not quite as clean going away but her qualities cannot be denied CC and BOS 2nd Ward’s Sh Ch Braccpoint Song of the Wind for Gemlorian  9yr another super veteran, a little longer cast than 1st.  Pretty head of correct proportions, her neck flowed into well laid shoulders.  Deep chest and well sprung ribs.  I would prefer a little less loin and a little more rear angulation which meant she wasn’t quite as strong on the move as 1.
