Katherina Savage (Weisford)
Thank you to the Committee for my Invitation to Judge at your Show and to the Exhibitors who took their dogs under me and accepted my placings so graciously. It created a lovely atmosphere at the ring. I was delighted with the quality of dog that was shown on the day and trilled with my final line up of dogs. Some of the classes were very tightly contested and I am sure could swap places on any day. Congratulations to all in the cards.
With my Co Judge Ms Kim Ellis we agreed on all the Top Honours to complete a lovely day.
Special word of thanks to my Stewards, Barbara and Diane who kept the ring running like clockwork.
Minor Puppy Dog (11/1)
1. Navilis Shchedryk (IMP UKR)
What a little poppet this guy is at 6.5 mths, loved his attitude. He was shown in excellent coat and lovely condition for a young puppy. This boy has a head to die for. Beautiful expression, softest of eyes and jet-black pigmentation. He is balanced in his angulations front and rear, good lay of shoulder and return of arm and a good return of stifle and width to his second thigh. He has good bone and moved out well holding his topline. He was handled beautifully and very attentive to his owner.
2. Ashbyglen True Colours at Emmabe
Another super puppy at just 9 months. Loved his overall balance, he has an excellent front assembly and corresponding rear. Good length of neck, excellent spring of rib, level topline and short coupled. Well off for bone, stands on tight feet and moved out well. He has lovely balance to his head with ex pigmentation, I would prefer a more almond shape eye.
3. Fenpinque Royal Rascal by Molestream.
Lovely balanced puppy, shown in super coat. Pleasing head and expression, balanced angulations front and rear. Excellent spring of rib. Good bone and tight feet, moved out well.

Good length of neck set into well laid-back shoulders with a good return of upper arm and tight elbows. Excellent spring of rib and level topline, sort coupled. Good corresponding rear angulation. Standing on straight limbs and tight feet, moved out well.

Junior Dog (9/1)
1. Flyngalee Topsy Turvy JW.
This boy presents a very appealing outline on the stack and moves out well when asked. I liked the balance to his head and his kind eye with dark pigmentation. Well developed neck set nicely into a well laid shoulder and good return of upper arm. Excellent spring of rib, deep through his heart and short coupled. Well off for bone and excellent feet. Excellent rear angulation. He was shown in hard condition and good coat.
2. Lynste Dream Boy
I found a lot to like about this boy, he has a beautiful head and expression, nice clean neck set into an excellent front assembly balanced out with a corresponding rear assembly. Good bone tight feet, level topline and short coupled. Just lacking the maturity of no. 1 today.
3. Berrymeade Dream On With Jasperleigh JW
Very attractive male with balanced angulations front and rear. Very pleasing head, shown in a good coat and excellent condition, he moves out well with excellent reach and drive but has a tendency to flag his tail.

I really liked this boy. He presents with a well-proportioned body, well off for bone and stands on tight feet. He has a beautiful head with a melting expression, good length of neck set into well laid shoulders, with a good return of upper arm and tight elbows. Excellent spring of rib, short coupled, level top line, good tail set and straight hocks. On the move he excels, he displays wonderful reach and drive and was one of the best movers of the day when settled. Wish you well with this young boy.
2. Goldmarker Alderbaran
This boy was presented in beautiful coat and hard condition. He was shown very well by his handler. He has a very attractive head and expression, excellent ear set and good length of neck, more moderate in his angles than no. 1, good bone and tight feet. On the move he has nice profile movement, but he has a tendency to toe in which spoils his front movement as he returns to you.
3. Putjade Pit Stop at Riverscharm
This boy was shown in a beautiful rich Golden Coat in excellent condition. He has a very attractive head and expression. Good length of neck, good front assembly, excellent spring of rib and short in his couplings. I would prefer a wider second tight and a more correct tail carriage.

Mid Limit Dog. (10/2)
This was a class where I was completely nitpicking. It had some of the most beautiful dogs of the day, I am sure the placings chop and change every week in this class. The first placed dog won out on his true movement and balance overall, but I would prefer a broader muzzle on this boy. The second dog has the most exquisite head and again a complete balanced outline but toes in a little on his front left. A hairs breath between them. The third dog again loved his overall balance; I would just prefer stronger hocks on the move.
1. Haydengold Just a Rumour At Sunandair JW
This boy presented a beautiful shape and excelled on the move. Pleasing head and expression, I would prefer just a little more width to his muzzle for complete balance. He has a lovely length of neck and top-drawer front and rear angulation. Level top line and good tail set. He is deep throughout with an excellent spring of rib and short coupled. Good bone and feet. Presented in a beautiful coat and good hard condition.

Good bone and tight feet, excellent spring of rib and short in his couplings. He was shown in a Rich Golden Coat and excellent hard condition, on the move he is wonderful in profile and just favours his left front paw as he moves towards you.

His hind quarters complement his forequarters, with an excellent bend of stifle, good second thigh and straight hocks. He stands with excellent bone and tight feet. He comes alive on the move with super reach and drive, covering the ground effortlessly, holding his topline and correct foot fall. He was shown in a super coat and good hard condition. This moderate sized boy presents a balance outline throughout and comes to life on his movement in the ring. I loved his reach and drive and the ease with which he covered the ground. He has a pleasing balanced head with a good stop, he has a little ridge running along his muzzle, which detracts a little from his expression. He has an excellent reach of neck flowing into well laid-back shoulders and a good return of upper arm placing his legs under his body. He has tight elbows and good bone and feet. Special Open Field Trial/Working Test Dog. (2/1)
1. Restless Remedy Loyal Gold
Hats off to this dog and his hander. He was shown in several classes and in each class he moved around the ring with ease displaying super parallel movement. He displayed a wonderful temperament and was as happy trotting around the ring as he was out picking up the previous day, trying his very best for his handler, showing true Golden temperament. His handler shared a little of his breeding programme with me following his judging. She has achieved a boy with a beautiful head with a lovely width to his muzzle and back skull. He has a lovely dark eye and dark pigmentation. He has a good length of neck and nice lay back of shoulder and adequate return of upper arm and short straight hocks, he could be deeper in his body and have a more level top line, a better spring of rib and more substance overall, but he showed true Golden Temperament throughout and appeared to be enjoying his day. Wishing you the very best of luck in the BASC.
