1st BVD & BV Sh Ch/ir Sh Ch/lux Ch/int Ch Naiken East Meets West (ai) JW (Mr & Mrs A R V & Miss R Hodge)

I judged this dog as a yearling and awarded him the CC, and all I can say that he has matured into what I thought he would do, he still caught my eye straight away, good upstanding black of good breed type, a well chiselled masculine head with the correct eye shape and colour, but without being over done in any way at all, strong firm neck that just flows from the top of his head down to the shoulders then into a firm strong top line and correct otter tail, loved his angles both front and rear, excellent depth or chest and spring of rib, and short coupled, firm muscled body, nice second thigh and good hocks that just allowed him to power around the ring with ease, in good coat, and just stood four square on good feet and bone, he was awarded best veteran in breed with full agreement of my co-judge, then I was pleased to watch him go on to win Best Veteran In Show.
