THREE COUNTIES CHAMPIONSHIP SHOW

6TH JUNE 2026

SALUKIS

Having been absent from the show ring for the best part of two years, it was a delight to be judging my breed in the UK. Although the entry was small there was great quality throughout. Thank you to everyone who supported me. I was very pleased to hear that my choice of Best Veteran won Best Veteran In Group. Well done!

Puppy Dog (1)

1. Mr F and Mrs S Littlechild's ALLIEVO FAA IG RASHUQA. A very nice black and silver 9 month old with lots of potential. Posed a good picture with a lovely outline possessing a well placed shoulder and correct angle to humerous. Correct width of chest for his age. Lovely head with correct eye shape, good bite and underjaw and correct earset. Good bone throughout. Moved out well.

Junior Dog (0)

Post Graduate Dog (2 – 1 absent)

This was a difficult decision as both have very good potential with lots to like in both of them.

1. Mr M & Mrs J Strong’s XERXES OMAR TER DOLEN (IMP BEL). Black fringed red (sable). Possess a good outline and presented in good muscle. Good eye and well set ears, good bite and strong underjaw. A nice sweep of neck into shoulder and the correct angles fore and aft. Standing on good feet. Moved well.

2. Mrs V Martin’s SAVUKA SHAQUILLE FOR STALWART. A cream with great of potential who moved really well. A lovely head framed with well set ears. Correct bite and depth to his underjaw. Loved his outline with a good front, depth to chest and correct length to his ribs. He just needs to mature out a little bit more which is typical for a male – they take so much longer than bitches!

Limit Dog (2 – 2 absent)

Open Dog (5 – 3 absent)

1. Ms O Chippendale’s CH FLYTESFIELD HYDDWN. A really lovely specimen of the breed who caught my eye when he was a youngster. Very good head with a punishing jaw, a strong neck into well set shoulders and well ribbed back to a powerful backend. Lovely feet that covered the ground with ease. My compliments to his breeder and his owner. CC and BOB.

2. Mr D and Mrs M Thomas’ BEL/LUX CH SINCERITY KALIMANTAN CASHAR (IMP FIN). A lovely grizzle of good proportions. A different type to the winner, showing the breed’s diversity. Good head and strong neck, well laid shoulders and correct width to chest. Well ribbed back and posses good muscle throughout. His movement was excellent but I would like to see a little more ground coverage which I felt he was capable of but nonetheless very worth of the RCC.

Veteran Dog (3 – 2 absent)

1. Mr M & Mrs J Strong’s CH SHAZAD ZAKI TER DOLEN (IMP BEL). Good eye and earset and nice length to his neck set into good shoulders. Good depth of brisket and in good muscle condition. Would have preferred more positive movement.

Puppy Bitch (0)

Junior Bitch (1 – 1 absent)

Postgraduate Bitch (2)

1. Ms N Warner & Mr B Hetherington’s SAVUKA SHAKIRA. Lovely cream with a pleasing head and good neck into well set shoulders. Good depth of brisket and well ribbed back. Would prefer just a little more rise to her rear when on the move although she moved out well but I would prefer a little more width between her hocks when gaiting.

2. Mrs C M Jowitt’s BARLEYMOON ZALA. A delightful black fringed fawn who just needs to mature out. Rather fine boned for her size. Lovely head and good shoulders and a good length to her brisket. Would prefer more positive movement but that will come with maturity.

Limit Bitch (1)

1. Mrs H and Mr J Davies’ ZAFARANIYEH DASHTE MARGO. A well proportioned black and tan with a lovely outline and in really good condition. Good head shape and correct eye. Would prefer just a little bit more underjaw.

Open Bitch (2)

1. Mrs D Copperthwaite’s ALCALIPHS BELISIMA. A beautiful cream bitch with good proportions. Lovely head and expression, with a good underjaw and correct eye. Ears set on well and a good length of neck into well set shoulders. In outline she had a good length of rib and the correct rise to her well set hips and powerful backend. Good feet. Moved out well with positivity covering the ground with ease. CC.

2. Mr G and Mrs S Littlechild’s RAVENSETT MEHRASA. A lovely red girl presented in good condition. Good eye and correct underjaw. For perfection I would prefer a slightly higher ear set. Good depth to her chest but just a little long on the back which flattened the topline. Excellent condition in hind legs and good feet. Moved well.

3. Mrs H and Mr J Davies’ ZAFARANIYEH DASHTE KAVIR.

VETERAN (1)

1. Mrs H and Mr J Davies’ CH CLASSICUS ALCHEMY FOR CHARRIOAK JW. 8 year old black and tan in absolutely superb hard condition. A real credit to her owner and a fine example of what kind of life she leads. She fully deserved this placement and Best Veteran In Breed.
