SBD (3)

1st: Bell’s Cloverwood Total Legend. The most balanced and typey of the class. Plenty of substance, good length to leg proportions, correct curving topline with sickle tail carriage well on the move. Good spring of ribs, well back. Deep forechest coming down between wide well boned front. Well proportioned head to body, however I would like a little more foreface to balance the head. Broad skull well doomed with a good topknot. Like a little more animation on the move.

2nd: Hoskisson & Hinds’ Medunkove Strane (imp Cze) (Imp). A lot lighter in type and not the substance. Good broad skull with correct doomed foreface, full topknot, well placed large eye, full of expression, correctly set pendulous ear with fine leather. Broad front with good string bone and feet. Good bend of stifle. Movement ok both ways.

3rd: Kenyon & Kenyon’s Ceilmear Close Encounter

MPD (2)

1st: Ascott’s Night Owl. I preferred this one’s type to 2nd. Correct topline and tail set and carriage. Plenty of forechest with good bone and feet. Straight front. Good spring of rib and well back. Pleasing head with correct eye and well set ear, with good leather and tip. Moved parallel both ways with some drive.

2nd: Cundall & Cundall’s Bleaklee Augustus Moddle. Topline not as good as 1st. Plenty of substance with well sprung rib and strong loin. Well let down rear construction. Pleasing head and expression with a good expressive eye. Moved with some style in profile and then put the brakes on. Not so cooperative with handler at the end.

PD (3)

1st: Ascott’s Night Owl.

2nd: Jackman & Jackman’s Carnkie Ragged Robin. Very raw at the moment. Well balanced head peace with correct eye and set ear broad skull and top knot. Hopefully he has finished growing and grows into himself. Good spring of rib and well back. Moved well away with good rear construction. Lovely happy disposition on the move. Topline needs to settle in profile movement. Coat changing so not quite as harsh as it should end up.

3rd: Hoskisson & Hinds’ Medunkove Strane (imp Cze) (Imp)

JD (1)

1st: Sleight’s Finamor's King Of The Road At Bonnybeck. Well presented. Good masculine head and expression, broad skull and well doomed forehead. Well low set ear, correct thin leather Well made through a clean neck and good lay of shoulder, into a straight front with plenty of forechest. Well ribbed back and good spring. Correct curve of topline from the shoulders arching over the loin. A well balanced dog in profile movement.

PGD (2)

1st: Bell’s Cloverwood Total Legend.

2nd: Hoskisson & Hinds’ Lenacourt Laird Rannech. Plenty of substance throughout, well sprung rib and swell back. Good forehand with breath and depth of forechest. Straight front with good bone and feet. Well let down behind and moved well enough both ways. Scimitar tail and correct set. Would have liked a lower set ear as it created a slightly foreign overall picture for me.

LD (7,1)

1st: France’s Kiti's Band Take The Lead To Torbrae Ejw25 (Cze). Super masculine dog well muscled toned and showed on the move. Stylish and stood himself keeping a balanced picture. Good front construction with broad, deep chest. Straight front with good bone and feet. Clean through neck and shoulder with well sprung rib, correct rise over the loin and well muscled. Good rear construction and well let down hock. Good masculine head with correct proportions, broad skull with big dark eye and correctly low set ear with nice thin leather. Doomed forehead, with well furnished topknot. Super presentation. Good movement both ways and kept a balanced picture in profile movement with correct tail carriage.

2nd: Baker’s Cloverwood's Storm Shadow. A little shorter in back which didn’t present as a balanced picture as 1st. Lovely masculine head and expression, broad skull and dome forehead, good size round eye and correctly low set ear, fine leather, full topknot with correct texture. Correct topline rising over the loin. Well ribbed Vance with good depth and wide front. Good bone and feet. Scimitar tail on the move, good away.

1st: Milton & Kurg’s Ch Barton Dandies Charles Darnay (imp Esp). Good strong masculine head and expression, good big round eye full of expression. Correct proportions, broad and well domed forehead. Good topknot with good texture. Correctly set ear with good thin leather. Like a little more breath of chest and was a little close coming towards you. Well boned with good feet. Good spring of rib and well back with correct topline rising over the loin with a scimitar tail on the move. Well made rear, well let down. I preferred the overall balance and picture in profile movement to 2nd.

2nd: Deacon’s Us Gr Ch Altpalme Bon Mot To Roxburku Sun. A pleasing masculine head and expression, good big dark eye, domed forehead, correct topknot and texture to it all over the head. Low set ear with good leather and length. Plenty of forechest with straight foreleg with good bone and feet. Good length of neck. Well sprung rib and strong loin. SBB (2,1)

1st: Kenyon & Kenyon’s Puddockswell Cox's Pippin (ikc).feminine head well balanced proportions, nice gentle expression with a glint. Domed forehead and broad skull, good well textured topknot. Correctly set ear with nice thin leather, broad forechest with good bone and feet. Good spring of rib and plenty of substance, correct rise over the loin with the topline with well set tail and scimitar carriage. Moved well both ways. Good harsh coat texture, she would however benefit from some sharper presentation.

MPB (2)

1st: Davies & Davies Calmarlin Ophelia. A Typey bitch with the most feminine of heads, well proportioned with broad dark nose, lovely dark eye, well domed forehead and broad skull, with a good topknot for her age. Well made front with broad forechest, straight front with good bone and feet. Correct topline into well set tail and typical carriage. Good spring of rib and well back. Good strong loin. Moved well both ways. Good coat and texture.

2nd: Hayes & Hayes Wepwawet Real Humdinger. Not quite the same body proportions of 1st, plenty of substance to her with a good forechest and straight front. Clean neck and well laid shoulder. Feminine throughout. Not quite the drive from the rear of 1st.

PB (2)

1st: Tinsley’s Cloverwood Wine And Roses. Another very pretty feminine bitch with the happiest of dispositions. Super feminine head with correct proportions, good dark expressive eye, domed forehead, with a correct textured topknot. Low set ear with a nice long leather. Clean neck and shoulder with good forechest and straight front with good bone and feet. Good spring of rib and well back and strong loin into well made rear, with correct topline rising over the loin with well set tail and scimitar tail on the move. Really kept a balanced picture in profile movement.

2nd: Small’s Carnkie Scarlet Pimpernel At Malindibeach. An honest bitch with a lovely disposition. Good forechest with plenty of substance all through. Like a little more rise over the loin of the topline. Feminine head with a nice eye full of character. Good low ear set and correct leather.

PGB (3)

1st: Kenyon & Kenyon’s Puddockswell Cox's Pippin (ikc)

2nd: Cundall & Cundall’s Puddockswell Copperfield Of Bleaklee. Not in full coat today so was lacking some finish. Very feminine all through with a good deep forechest and broad front construction, strong neck, would like the shoulders with a lay further back. Correct topline and scimitar tail. Jovial disposition and showed as she moved away with some purpose.

LB (3)

1st: Deacon’s Cassencarrie Button Moon. Shows herself so well. Feminine in all aspects, the most feminine head and expression good dark nose and expressive dark round eye. Broad skull and domed forehead, with work under the eye. Good topknot, correctly low set ear. Good neck and shoulder with well made forearm and breath of forechest. Well ribbed back and correct topline. Super harsh textured body coat, just lacking in furnishings for Higher honours. Did tend to like her tail a bit too much on the move ch aging her body proportions.

2nd: Mills & Mills Lairdship Lickity Split Jw. A bigger bitch all through. When she moved, she relaxed a little more and her topline rose correctly over the loin and created a more balanced picture in profil. Good forehand with strong bone and feet. Well ribbed back and good strong loin. Drives well on the move. Good harsh coat texture and well presented.

3rd: Kurg & Milton’s Etsill Evie Jw

OB (5,1)

1st: Davies & Davies & Kettle Ch Calmarlin Memento Vita JW. Lovely to watch moving both in profile and up and back movement. Keeping a well-balanced picture, clean neck and shoulder well laid back, clean forehand, good broad forechest and depth. Straight front with strong bone and feet. Well ribbed back and well sprung, strong loin into a well made rear. Some muscle and drove off from her pads. I’d like a little more femininity in her head, a good eye and low set thin ear, topknot and well presented and shown.

2nd: Jackman & Jackman’s Dryfevalley Willow At Carnkie. A happy disposition on the move and drove with positive footfall. Feminine head, well proportioned, good dark round eye, domed forehead with a good topknot. Clean strong neck with a good forechest, well sprung rib and well back.
