Many thanks to the officers and committee for the appointment and prior support. I enjoyed my day immensely and many thanks to all that entered at my first appointment in this breed. Well done to the committee for running 2 ch shows on the same day and the hard work that obviously went into organising them.
Presentation was of a good standard for many, a few would benefit from a bit more coat care and certainly many would benefit from some free running exercise as hard muscle tone was lacking in many.

1. Turner’s Dazycutter Thegirlisonfire. I preferred the overall balance and substance at this stage. Pretty, feminine balanced head proportions with a correct eye and set ear. Good straight forearm and well placed shoulder, good depth of brisket and correct rib. Gently sloping topline. Movement needs to firm up, very gangly at this point.
2. Bryant’s Dazycutter Crownedbyfire. Not quite the substance and frame at the moment of 1st. Very raw youngster. Well boned with correct straight forearm, good level topline and well ribbed back. Good bend of stifle and well let down. Not quite as balance in the head yet, but full of femininity. Just needs to steady on the move, which I’m sure will come with time.
3. Mutch’s Astleyview Dazzeling Moon
PB (6,2)
1. Sketchley’s Sametsuz So To Speak, BPB, BPIS. A promising youngster full of breed type. Feminine head with a lovely eye and expression. Good length and balanced proportions. Slight arch to neck and good length. Would like a slight better return of upper arm. Good straight forearm with small feet and plenty of bone without coarseness. Good depth of brisket to elbow and well ribbed back and well sprung. Gently sloping topline. Plenty of width to the hind end with correctly set tail. Good bend of stifle and well let down behind, moved well both ways. Good coat condition and well conditioned.
2. Prangle’s Heathclare Faberge. Not quite the rear movement of 1st. Plenty of substance with good depth of brisket, well sprung rib and arched loin. Feminine pleasing head and expression. Slight arch to neck, straight forearm, nice small well arched feet. Not quite as balanced a picture as 1st.
3. Stevenson’s Gwendariff Cracklin Rosie For Lochlorien (IKC)
VetB. (9,2)
1. Catling’s Sh Ch Teleri Indian Summer (AI) JW. CC, RBIS, BVIS. I’ve liked this bitch from outside of the ring for quite a while now. So elegant and full of quality on the move with a lot of style and keeps a balanced make and shape. Shown in good condition with a deep chestnut colour to the coat and shine. Straight forearm and good bone, goo depth of chest and rather narrow in front. Well ribbed, correctly sprung and with a strong loin, gently sloping topline into a well constructed rear end, good bend of stifle and well let down with good short hock. Moved well both ways fully taking the eye.
2. Bougen’s Sh Ch Gwendariff Hot Ticket JW. Another quality bitch, well balanced in outline and feminine all through. Pleasing head and expression, well balanced with a good eye and defined brow. Clean neck, into straight well boned forearm, good tight feet. Good depth of brisket and well ribbed back. Well made rear with correct tail set and carriage. Moved well away.
3. Hunter’s Sh Ch/Int Ch Fairhaven Electra
JB (6,1)
1. Holehan-Green’s Loganrish Winter Pearl Moon JW. Won on substance and maturity today. Good make and shape and well balanced. Correct gently sloping topline with good spring of rib and well back. Good depth of brisket, straight forearm and small feet. Correct front. Head needs to break, but should come with maturity. The most composed on the move, some reach and drive from a well constructed rear.
4. Walsh & Neill & Ellrich’s Gwendariff Greta Garbo (IKC). Not quite the quality and substance of 1st. Needs to mature and drop into herself. Good depth of brisket, correct topline, well constructed rear end, will let down hock. Well arched long neck. Straight forearm with good bone and small feet. Good rear angulation and moved well enough both ways.
2. Hopewell & Greenan’s Riverwood X Written In The Stars JW (IMP BEL)

1. Roberts Polmennor Pandora JW. I preferred the overall make and shape of this bitch compared to the others. Racy in outline. Pleasing head and expression with good kind eye and correct shape. Like a slightly better return of upper arm, correct gently sloping topline, carried through to a correct tailset and well made rear. Moved well away with good tail carriage.
2. Richardson’s Bluesprings Love Of My Life For Shirlilah JW. Would have liked slightly longer body proportions, clean well arched neck flowing through to a good topline, well laid shoulder, good depth of brisket and straight forearm and good feet. Pleasing feminine head and expression, with some length and lean. Correctly set ear, Moved well enough both ways.
3. Mutch’s Astleyview Crimson Moon
NB (5,3)
1. Prangle’s Heathclare Faberge.
2. Shepherd’s Casachared Joleens Lady Red. Doesn’t need to grow anymore. Super coat and condition, presented well. Good straight forearm good spring of rib with depth of brisket, into a strong loin and well made rear construction with a good bend of stifle. Like slightly more feminine expression in head.
UGB (5)
1. Rogers Clonageera Summer Magic JW. I preferred the overall balance, pose and quality of this exhibit today. Plus a little more together on the move, which had some drive. Lovely feminine head with correctly shaped unshelled almond eye, brow, and long lean, kind setter expression. Well constructed front, narrow when viewed from the front, straight forearm. Feet could be tighter. Well strung rib and depth of brisket, strong loin. Well made rear with a good bend of stifle. Correct topline and set and carriage of tail. Moved well enough. Good rich chestnut, with super texture and condition to the coat.
2. Nicolls Riverbrue Storm At Krakonastorm JW. A different type of bitch, slightly lighter in frame. Good depth of brisket and spring of rib, like slightly shorter in loin to bring her into proportion. Well made rear end with good bend of stifle and some strength in her rear movement. Straight forearm and well arched feet. Good coat and colour. The prettiest of heads with a super expression, correct proportions and lean. Defined brow and occipital.
3. Mutch’s Astleyview Crimson Moon
GB (10)
1. Neill & Ellrich & Jones’ Gwendariff Flirt In A Skirt (IKC) JW. I preferred the head and expression over 2nd. Leaner and long with correct proportions, well defined brow, eye set, pronounced occipital, with correct ear set. Racy in outline with gently sloping topline, with correctly set tail, just coming off the back. Well made front with clean neck and shoulders, well boned and small feet. Good depth of chest, well sprung rib and well back, strong loin. Good rear movement with some drive as had some muscle condition.
2. Rutherford’s Clonageera Summer Moments JW. A nice bitch with a good make and shape and body proportions. I would have liked a more typical head, a bit spaniely for my liking, it lacks the leanness. Straight sinewy forearm with good bone and feet. Good depth of brisket with well sprung rib, strong loin. Well constructed rear end, well let down with good bend of stifle and 2nd thigh. In super coat and condition, lovely rich chestnut and good pigmentation.
3. Holenan-Green’s Loganrish Tiger Lilly Pearl JW
PGB (11)
1. Mugford’s Kedalita Abfab For Lynwood JW. A lovely make and shape, racy in outline, however I’m not sure if the handler was getting the best out of her. Very honest construction with nothing exaggerated all through, very well balanced. Well proportioned head, lean with pronounced occipital, good eye, broad nose and pigment. Good straight sinewy foreleg, bone, small feet. Good depth of brisket and well ribbed back, good loin into a well-made rear, gently sloping topline with correct tailset and carriage. Well let down. Moved well both ways. No doubt with some maturity on her she will only improve.
2. Hunter & Brown’s Glencarron Another Chapter At Braidmount. Another well made bitch, of a different type. The kindest of expressions with a lovely eye and shape, brow, long and lean head and pronounced occipital. In super coat and condition and well presented. Narrow in front, with good straight forearm and correct bone and small feet. Good depth of brisket and well sprung rib, strong loin and well made rear end, well let down. Moved away well, just lost her topline at points in profile movement. Like a slight better return of upper arm.
3. Milligan Bott & Bott’s Thendara Graff Venus
MLB (5,2)
1. Danks’ Alolfrana Electra. A nicely made bitch, well balanced, plenty of substance without being overdone. Certainty catches your eye on the move as she has some style to her in profile and moves well both ways. Feminine head and expression, with kind correctly shaped eye. Head lean and long with pronounced occipital. Correctly set ear. Clean neck and shoulder, good depth of brisket, well made front. good bone and feet. Good spring of rib and well back, slightly arched loin into a well made rear, well let down with some width to her 2nd thigh.
2. McDonald’s Quensha Galway Girl. Another well made bitch with some substance, feminine throughout with a good long, lean head. Pronounced occipital. Kind eye and brow and correctly set ear. Not quite as clean through the neck compared to 1st. Straight forearm and well boned. Good depth of brisket and well sprung rib, well back. Arched loin. Well made rear with a good bend of stifle and well let down, gently sloping topline and correct tail set and carriage on the move, moved with some drive from behind. Coat in super condition and a lovely rich chestnut colour.
3. Rorke’s Zakhan’s Diamond Queen JW
LB (9,2)
1. Crocker & Frost’s Riverbrue Lofty (IMP POL). A very well made bitch, well balanced, just needs some more maturity to finish her off. Pulls into a lovely make and shape and handled well. Flows through her neck and shoulders into a gently sloping topline into a correctly set tail. Narrow front with straight sinewy forearm with plenty of bone, good feet. Plenty of depth of chest and well sprung rib, well back. Well arched loin, into a well let down rear with good 2nd thigh. Well conditioned with muscle tone. Moved well both ways, a very feminine head and expression, well balanced.
2. Bott & Allen & Morgan’s Quensha Joker And The Queen. In super coat and condition and well presented. I just felt she lost out in shoulder placement to 1st. Super legs and feet, well boned. Free at the elbow with a good depth of chest and spring of rib. Well arched loin with a correct sloping topline with correct tailset. Well made rear with some strength to it, good rear angulation and moved with some drive from behind. A very typical and pretty head with a lovely eye. Defined brow and correct proportions to it.
3. Cox’s Tiroen The Sky’s The Limit
OB (11,4)
1. Roffey’s Sh Ch Gwendariff Skys The Limit (IKC), RBCC. A really interesting class to judge with 11 champions in it. I felt this bitch won out, in a couple of areas. I preferred her through her neck and shoulders, cleaner with a better return of upper arm. Plus I felt she kept a more balanced outline on the move in profile. It was nice to go over one in such good hard muscle condition. Well balanced feminine head, with well set unshelled almond eye, good length and lean with pronounced occipital. Flows from the crest of the neck to the tail with no corners. Super bone and feet with straight forearm, well sprung rib and depth of brisket and well arched loin. Well made rear with correct angulation of stifle, parallel hocks. Really drove off behind and with some style in profile.
2. Neill & Stewart’s Sh Ch Ir Sh Ch Gwendariff Pink Champagne (IKC). Not as settled on the move today as 1st. A well made bitch full of substance, balanced. Free at the elbow with a rather narrow front. Well sprung rib and depth of chest. Strong well arched loin into another well made rear with a well let down hock and strong 2nd thigh. Very pretty in head with a kind expression. Good head proportions, long and lean and pronounced occipital. Correct eye and ear set.
3. Bott & Allen & Morgan’s Sh Ch Quensha Crimes Of Passion
