Boston & District Canine Society

Two big thanks, firstly to the exhibitors who braved the day until the bitter end. Secondly to the stewards who were fabulous having been stewarding from the early morning, skipping lunch and still going late afternoon. Thank you to the majority of the exhibitors who took my decision with grace and support. I enjoyed chatting to many after judging and your feedback is greatly received.

1st Irisbel From Now On - Miss J & Ms R Hepburn & Laverick
Well balanced youngster, moderate stop, almond shaped eyes, moderately long, low set ears. Deep chest, would like a little more depth of chest to elbow, ok spring of rib. Level and strong loin. Moderate bend of stifle behind. Good movement.

1st Gadhelic Jack Frost - Mrs L J Moss
Young male, look of masculinity and type. Well balanced throughout. Good work in head giving desired noble expression. Moderate stop. Moderately long, low set ears. Tight fitted, almond shaped eyes. Correct bite. Long neck flowing into correctly placed point of shoulder, which were well laid back. Straight front with deep chest, and good pasterns. Moderate spring of rib, with strong loin, and topline held on the stack and on the move. Tight feet. Strong muscled rear which he used well on the drive around the ring. BD, BOB. 

2nd Bel Ch Broomeece Fire Cracker Over Mishules BW24 - M S Shipton
An older male, certainly given a run for his money today in this class. Heavier masculine expression, clearly defined stop, tight almond shaped eyes. Ear moderately long and set low. Long neck into point of shoulder. Deep chest. Just preferred the front structure of 1 today. Good spring of rib and strong loin. Well muscled rear. Slightly more second thigh then 1.

1st Sh Ch Jesham Baronet - Mr D & Mrs J Bennett.
No denying this dog is all male. Strong and powerful in structure. Correct almond eyes, with long neck into point of shoulder. Well laid back shoulder. Good spring of rib, with strong loin and back. Moderately angled rear. well muscled. Moved with drive. just missed out on fronts to BD today. RBD, BV.

Just six months old bitch. Lovely balance to her. Muzzle not too snippey. Almond shaped eyes. Long neck into point of shoulder. Still too fill out in front. Good ribbing for her age. moderately angled front and rear. Moved effortlessly. BP.

Almost 12 month old bitch. Different in type to 1. Would like to see a little more of her. Lovely Feminine look, tight, almond shaped eyes. Wry mouth. Moderately long, low set ears. Moderate stop. Moderate length of neck flowing into point of shoulder. Chest yet to fill out, preferred the spring of rib of 1. Moderately angled rear. When she got moving lovely flowing stride.

Just over 18 months old bitch. Lovely feminine expression and over all balance. Tight almond eyes, moderate stop. Long neck flowing into point of shoulder. Good spring of rib, well muscled loin and topline. moderately angled rear. Well muscled. Free movement around the ring. 

2nd Elgert Queen of Hearts to Sparkenhoe - Miss E & Mrs L Welburn & Angus
3 and half yr old bitch. Lovely appearance and expression. Moderate stop, good length of muzzle. Almond shape eye with good dark pigment. Deep chest, with good spring of rib, correct straight front. Didn't quiet hold her topline today. Moderate rear. Well muscled. Moved with free flowing stride.

19 month old bitch. Well balanced and typy outline. Catches your eye as soon as you see her. Good work in head giving desired noble expression. Moderate stop, with good pigment and tight almond shaped eyes. Long, low set ears. Long neck flowing into well placed, well laid back shoulders. Correct straight front and pasterns. Deep chest with a good spring of rib. Strong loin and topline held on the stack and on the move. Moderately angled rear with good muscle tone. Moved effortlessly around the ring. BB, BOS. 

2nd Trevorsilk Blue Velvet - Mr & Mrs T J Trevor
Just over 3 yr old bitch. Lovely type, slightly heavier set then 1. Moderate stop, almond shaped eyes. Good spring of ribs, strong loin. Moderately angled rear. Good muscle tone. Moved with drive.

Just over 3 yr old bitch. Lovely outline and type. Feminine expression, with almond shaped eyes and good pigment. Correct bite. Long, low set ears. Long neck flowing into point of shoulder with well laid back shoulders. Good straight front and pasterns. Good depth of chest with good spring of rib. Strong loin and held topline throughout. Moderately angled rear with good muscle tone. Just missed out on her movement for and aft. RBB. 

2nd Bel Ch Heartwood Mishules All Is Possible with Calico (Imp USA) JW BW24 - M S Shipton.
3 yr old bitch. Alot to like about this lady. Moderate stop, with good length of muzzle. A little heavier set then 1. Long, low ears. Long neck flowing into point of shoulder. Good deep chest. Just preferred the over all front of 1. Good length of ribs with strong loin and topline. Moderately angled rear. Good muscle tone and drove around the ring.

1st Ewtor Crazy Kinda Love at Pennybeck - Mr GS & Mrs J C Jones
An older bitch of almost 10 yrs old. Certainly gave the youngsters a run for their money. Moderate stop, with good length of muzzle. Long, low set ears. Moderately length of neck flowing into point of shoulder. Good deep chest with strong loin. Just tending to loose her topline on the move. Moderate rear angulation with good muscle tone. Enjoyed watching her move around the ring. BVB
