1st: Geordele Born Free (Kellett) – Best Special Beginner

A pleasing, honest dog who presented a balanced outline and gave a tidy account of himself on the move. Masculine headpiece with correct expression, shown in appropriate coat and handled well. Held his shape and moved with enough purpose to secure the class and was rightly awarded Best Special Beginner.

2206 – Minor Puppy Dog (1)

1st: Istani Robert De Niro (Kirk & Mottershaw)

At this tender age, a youngster of promise with a good frame and encouraging outline. Attractive head developing well, with correct neck length flowing into a decent front assembly. Showed happily and moved with freedom for a baby, holding his shape well.

2207 – Puppy Dog (7)

1st: Cloudside Black Hawk (Moore)

Most convincing puppy here, showing excellent breed type and a very pleasing silhouette. Attractive head with correct expression, good neck and forehand, and a firm, well-proportioned body for age. Moved with reach and drive, covering the ground freely and with increasing confidence as he settled.

2nd: Cloudside Sunshine (Reed & Reed)

Another quality puppy, close up to the winner in many respects. Pleasing head and eye, good length of neck and a balanced frame. Coat coming well and shown in good condition. Moved soundly, just did not quite match the winner’s overall presence and finish today.

3rd: Yassir Del Ghyryo (Imp Bel) (Webster & Lloyd)

2208 – Junior Dog (7)

1st: Drishaun Consider This Baby JW (Gardner)

A smart, upstanding junior with plenty of style and a clean outline. Very attractive head and expression, good length of neck, and a well-made body with correct proportions. Presented in good order and moved with purpose, showing the ability to cover ground with the correct Afghan carriage.

2nd: Cloudside Soul Prince For Jodak JW (House & Hinchliffe)

Pleasing for type, with a quality head and good neck into shoulders. Balanced through body and quarters and shown in good coat for age. On the move he was sound and purposeful, but just lacked the winner’s overall ring presence and finish today.

3rd: Cloudside Ebony Prince At Johda JW (Bellringer & Bellringer)

1st: Way Up Portofino (Imp Ita) (Reed & Reed)

A rangier yearling who stands over ground well and has a pleasing Afghan outline. Good head and neck, and a body developing nicely with correct ribbing. Moved freely, holding his shape well, and showed with confidence.

2210 – Post Graduate Dog (1)

1st: Rhajikhan Walking On Water (Gray)

A well-schooled dog who gives a balanced picture and was presented in good coat and condition. Pleasing head and expression with correct neck length and a sound frame. On the move he covered the ground efficiently and held a steady outline.

2211 – Limit Dog (8) (Abs: 2)

1st: Amaserwah Any Way The Wind Blows At Jazzmeenah (Heritage & Heritage)

A quality dog who appeals in outline, showing good breed type and a clean, masculine head. Correct proportions with a firm body and well-developed quarters. On the move he was positive and purposeful, maintaining his topline and using his hindquarters well.

2nd: Absolute Afghans Djibouti At Karnak JW ShCEx OSW (Hills & Thornton)

Pleasing for type, with a good head and expression and a well-balanced frame. Sound enough in construction and moved steadily, showing a free stride. Presented in good condition; just did not quite match the winner’s overall finish and authority today.

3rd: Geordele Born Free (Kellett)

1st: Aus/UK Ch Tahkira Affogato (Imp) Aus (Millward, Race & Ferguson) – Dog CC & Best of Breed

A mature, well-made dog of genuine quality, presenting a classical Afghan picture with excellent balance and finish. Masculine head with true expression, flowing neck into well-placed shoulder, and a firm, correctly proportioned body. In profile he has the right elegance without losing strength, and on the move he covered the ground with reach and drive, holding his outline throughout. Presented in excellent order and handled to best advantage; rightly awarded Dog CC and Best of Breed.

2nd: Int Ch Lux Ch NL Ch UK Ch Popovs Aladdin At Sarakh (Pascoe) – Res Dog CC

A dog of obvious presence and proven merit, with a strong, balanced frame and the ring carriage one expects at this level. Typical head and expression, good body and quarters, and moved with purpose. Today just not quite the winner’s overall flow and finish, but a worthy recipient of Res Dog CC.

3rd: Ch Syrdarya Darjeeling Chai Of Simkhan (James & James)

2213 – Veteran Dog (1)

1st: Jo-kins Pineapples Have Peelings Too (Imp Fin) (Metcalfe)

A creditable veteran who still enjoys his day out. Presented in good order, retaining a pleasing outline and showing with a steady temperament. Moved soundly enough to secure the class and was handled sympathetically.

1st: Istani Miss Jackson At Andazraq’s (Reaney)

A feminine bitch with a pleasing head and expression and a balanced frame. Presented in good coat for her stage and showed well. Moved steadily, holding a tidy outline, and gave the impression of being well put together.

2nd: Sitana Miss Marvel (Hudson)

Another nice bitch who appealed for type and femininity. Good head properties and a well-shaped outline. Moved soundly, just lacking a touch of the winner’s overall finish and presence in this company.

1st: Istani Liza Minnelli (Kirk & Hughes)

A delightful baby with much to like. Feminine head and eye, correct neck length, and a promising outline with good balance for age. Moved freely for a youngster and was presented with care and attention to detail.

2nd: Istani Miss Jackson At Andazraq’s (Reaney)

Another promising minor puppy, showing pleasing type and a good frame developing well. Moved soundly, though the winner had the edge in overall harmony and finish today.

1st: Cloudside Camomile At Simkhan (James & James) – Best Puppy

A very pleasing puppy bitch, full of breed type and quality. Feminine head and expression, good neck and balance, and a lovely outline for her age. Moved freely and confidently, holding her shape well, and was presented in excellent coat and condition for a puppy. Clearly the best youngster here and deserved Best Puppy.

2nd: Affyneeta Pure Elygance At Cadmore (Meakes)

Feminine puppy with a sweet expression and a good frame. Shown in good condition and handled well. Moved soundly; winner had the edge in overall confidence and finish.

A stylish junior who catches the eye in profile, showing excellent balance and plenty of quality. Feminine head, good neck and shoulder flow, and a firm, well-proportioned body. On the move she covered the ground with reach and drive, holding her outline well.

A quality bitch with a pleasing head and expression and a balanced, well-made frame. Presented in good coat and condition. Moved soundly and with purpose, just not quite the winner’s overall presence and finish today.

A pleasing bitch who has a nice head and outline and was well presented. Moved steadily and showed well; the winner had the edge today in overall balance and finish.

2nd: Sitana Mystique At Zarcar (Lawson-Ball)

Pleasing for type, with a nice head and a balanced body. Shown in good order and handled well. Moved soundly, though the winner looked the more finished and assertive today.

A quality bitch with good breed type and a pleasing outline. Attractive head and expression, good neck and forehand, and a firm body with well-developed quarters. Moved out well, showing freedom and purpose, and looked a very complete picture today.

2nd: Alaqadar Ariodante Of Shadowfax (Imp) (Rhodes, Shaverneva & Garra)

A balanced bitch with a pleasing head and a good overall shape. Presented in good coat and condition. Moved soundly, just lacking a touch of the winner’s finish and ring presence on the day.

3rd: Ayoubkhan Porcelain Dove (Humphreys)

Moved freely and with purpose, holding her shape well. Presented in very good order and pushed hard for top honours; deserved Res Bitch CC.

2nd: Ch Saxonmill Majic Mirror (Hall)

A lovely bitch of proven merit, with an attractive headpiece and correct Afghan expression. Balanced in outline with a firm body and good quarters, and shown in very good order. Moved soundly and with purpose; the winner just had the edge today in overall flow and animation.

3rd: Cloudside Sevillana At Eweyisska (ai) (Cullen)

2222 – Veteran Bitch (2)

1st: Int Ch Lux Ch Ir Ch NL Ch UK Ch Popovs Sazerac At Sarakh (Tromp) – Bitch CC & Best Veteran

A distinguished veteran who still presents a beautifully balanced Afghan picture and carries herself with real dignity. Feminine, full of quality, and in excellent condition for her years, she moved out with assurance and purpose, holding her outline well. An honor to judge her. Her overall class and authority in the ring made her a clear winner, rightly taking Bitch CC and going on to be Best Veteran.

2nd: Shadowfax Threepenny Opera JW (Rhodes, Shaverneva & Garra)

A pleasing veteran shown in good order, feminine and balanced, moving soundly. The winner simply had greater presence and finish on the day.
