Breed: Greyhound
Such a lovely breed to have the opportunity to judge and appreciate those that were here today, all very nice exhibits. Greyhound Junior Dog (1) 1. Bogart’s Ch Sobers Kendrick at Incitatus (Imp Ita) stood alone, still maturing but an impressive & obviously high quality dog, shaded light red/fawn carrying the most handsome of lean heads of strength & length, good eye for his colour, fine rose ears, strong jaw with scissor bite, superb length of neck with slight arch blending nicely into his well-placed shoulders, front straight & held well in profile, huge capacious chest with good length & ribbing going back blending underneath cleanly, very strong broad loin & gentle slope to croup, moderately angled quarters with very strong first & second thigh which importantly gave him the right propulsion to move as well as he did, good length of tail, coat fine & sleek he presented an imposing outline standing & moving. Best Dog, BOB & good to see him short-listed in the very well filled Hound Group. Open Dog (1) 1. Wilce-Quinton & Quinton’s Azravi’s Marked by The Sunrise at Kirjojax (Imp Nor) mainly white with red patches, he was of very nice proportions, very slightly shorter in body length and I would say held a marginally lighter frame to the previous class winner, lean masculine & well detailed chiselled head, long muscular neck set into well placed shoulder, shapely through his body with ample depth to brisket, good strong loin & nicely angled hindquarters with good width to thigh, feet well knuckled, he presented a really nice outline on the stack & his strength of movement with good forehand reach & rear drive was good in profile, a nice dog. Res. Best Dog. Post Graduate Bitch (1) 1. Wilce-Quinton & Quinton’s Inchydoney Memories Vinlandia Raspberry Chocolat avec Kirjojax, lovely feminine dark brindle displaying a good elegant outline of balanced proportions & good body length, quite refined throughout & would prefer just a fraction more strength, typy lean head, good eye & ear placement, she held herself well on a lengthy muscular neck, decent lay of shoulder, good depth & underline rising nicely, strong through her loin & good angle to her hindquarters, good pasterns, feet knuckled & neat, was well muscled & moved out well in profile. Best Bitch. Jill Cross (Gilari)
