An ancient breed with much to admire, wish there had been a few more here but thank these two exhibitors for coming along to support the classes. Not an easy Breed to exhibit and you need stamina to do so. Pharaoh Hound Veteran Dog (2) 1. Parker, Williams, Stevens & Carota’s Ch/Am Ch Hallam Desert Phoenix Bakhu’s Max One in A Million (Imp Usa), wow what can I say about this breed typical nicely sized male but thrilled to have the pleasure of judging this rich tan boy once again, such a handsome & alert 7 year old of moderate yet impressive build, strong & muscular, beautiful chiselled headpiece with lovely amber eye & erect mobile ears, definite head planes displaying that desired wedge shape, neck with slight crest, clean shoulders, perfect width, nicely angulated & muscled hindquarters, knuckled feet, well set tail, all flowing well together he took off around the ring with some style, reach & carriage, quality dog on sparkling form. Best Dog, Best Veteran & BOB and not surprised to see him take Hound Group 1 today, congratulations. 2. Cole’s Doucai's Star Tal Rabat, this one was 10 years old & was amazingly agile & alert with a strong outline, nicely boned he had a good clean skull, flesh coloured nose, used his ears well, was strong in neck, decent width in front, had good topline although was slightly shorter in length of body to 1 & consequently ribcage, moderate bend of stifle, padded feet, curved tail, his forehand action was slightly pounding viewed from the front & in profile but there was no denying his enthusiasm.
