GREYHOUNDS

Junior D. 1

1st : Bogart's CH. SOBERS KENDRICK AT INCITATUS (IMP ITA)

I absolutely love him, gorgeous red who has everything to like. Looks fabulous standing with handsome head and dark eye

, super pigmentation. Long neck into sound, wel laid shoulder. Great forechest, depth and length of ribbing. Strong loin into correct fallaway ,tail, set and carriage. Good feet and all black nails ! In fine body and muscular condition. When settled his movement is absolutely sound but at only nearly 16 mths old he decided to be rather over enthusiastic and although I had no hesitation giving himthe CC he was just not settled enough to beat the bitch for BOB. I will definitely watch his future with interest, I predict great wins and not surprised to hear he already has his title. If his human gets fed up with him he can always come home with me.

Limit D. 1

1st: James, James & Ahren's SOBERS JANNIK SINNER AT SIMKHAN (IMP ITA), Upstanding 2 yrs white/ brindle, another who has great quality and type. Very nice hound to go over with everything in the right place, looks the part standing over a lot of ground with excellent outline and topline. Movement unfortunately let him down, lovely front reach with good feet but rather over skittish on the rear and was definitely not moving as he is constructed but was told afterwards that he was very poorly after the challenge. Poor lad, but thankfully that has explained a lot .

Open D. 2

1st: Newsham,Rowe & Rowe's CH.FRANKIE DECUMA VIA WINDSPIEL (IMP CZE). Lovely dark brindle 3 yr old, I have admired him from the ringside and he is an elegant, handsome hound. Slightly different style to the two abovue, I like his overall conformation and balance, well bodied with great length and depth. Very mature in fine condition but not quite the pazzaz and presence of the Junior today. Res CC

2nd: Wilce-Quinton & Quinton's AZRAVI'S MARKED BY THE SUNRISE AT KIRJOJAX (IMP NOR) 4 yrs white/red, masculine throughout with good front and hind co-ordination. I have known him as a youngster and he has matured into a handsome, well musled hound. Not quite the elegance of the winner but he is sound throughout and makes the best of himself on the move.

Veteran D or B .1

1st: Rushford's CH. OUT OF THE BLUE AD HONORES (IMP FRA) Nearly 8 yrs red, very pretty head with matching eye, great ears and set, excellent overall conformationwith correct topline and outline. Looked lovely standing but not quite the front reach and drive behind today of the youngsters in the challenge.Lovely type and style.

Junior B. 1

1st: Harrison's-Stratford's SOUTHPORT ABSOLUT AT HIGHWICK (IMP POR) Very striking 15 mths red, I like her head, dark eye, rose ears and correct set, she has alot to like about her. Well grown with good depth and length. Still very immature needs to settle into her frame and fill out all through.. A little apprehensive today, so not easy to go over totally, but when settled she moved with style but looked her age, being a little out of control of her legs, but in a good way. She should mature nicely, prefer to see this in a slow maturing , large breed.

Post Graduate B .

1st: Wilce-Quinton& Quinton's INCHYDONEY MEMORIES VINLANDIA RASPBERRY CHOCOLATE AVEC KIRKOJAX. 2 yrs red /brindle, well balanced head with dark eye, adequate length of neck into well laid shoulders, she has width and good forechest, good depth and well bodied. Stands over alot of ground , hindquarters a little more angulated than front but she moved well. Good tail and set, would like a little more flowing sidemovement. Well handled.

Limit B. 2

1st: Cutter & Lubin's INA'S FASHION HALO OVER CHOSOVI (IMP DEU). 2 ¾ yrs red brindle, pleasing head and dark eye, look good standing with great depth and length, correct feet. Nice outline and topline with a lovely sweep of hindquarters with low set hocks, correct tail and set. Excellent muscular condition, she was a little apprehensive at first but fine on the move when settled. A little wide in front in the class but moved much better in the challenge to win the Res CC

2nd: Boggia's BOUGHTON BACK IN STYLE JW. 3 yrs , slightly taller and different style to above, lovely feminine head and nicely balanced throughout. Well bodied, sound front and rear but another who was a little apprehensive and unfortunately did not make the best of herself on the move.

Open B . 2

Two very nice bitches

1st: Boggia's BOUGHTON BACK FOR GOOD JW. Just 3 yrs , dark red brindle and more mature litter sister to 2nd above. Tall , elegant hound who has a lovely head and expression ,although I would like a slightly darker eye. Great length of neck into well laid shoulders, sound frontwith9 good forschest, depth and length. Correct pasterns. Great body and condition with lovely outline which she kept at all times, sweeping ,wide hindquarters with low hocks which she really does use to the best advantage on the move. Excellent front reach and drive behind, particularly looked good going around the generous ring with lovely tail , set and carriage. Outmoved all to win the CC and BOB, sorry she could not have stayed for the Group but understandable with a poorly dog at home.

2nd: Cutter & Lubin's CH. INA'S FASHION FINEST OF CHOSOVI (IMP DEU) 5 yrs red brindle, not as tall as winner but I like her head and eye, ears and set. Nicely constructed throughout with amazing muscular condition, as was her kennel mate. Good pasterns and feet. Quite close between these two, just slightly preferred front movement of above today, she has great hind angulation with good side movement, correct tail, set and carriage. Very nice bitch but she had to give way to her kennel mate in the challenge ,just prefering the Limit B's overall balance.
