Pennine & Yorkshire Welsh Corgi Association

Breed: Welsh Corgi (Cardigan)

Pennine & Yorkshire Welsh Corgi Association

Cardigans

I was a rather last minute replacement judge for Andrew Brace, who we all wish well in his retirement and return to better health. I thought the entry quite varied, but no common faults running through. Overseas bred dogs took all 4 major awards, hope the bloodlines will be of use, maybe a worry that they beat the home grown Cardis.

1. Ceranda Gower Diamond

Went well in this class. Head is feminine, flat skull. Medium neck. Balanced and moderate in angulation. Topline is ok.

I was also asked to judge BIS. Cardigans took most of the top spots with the exception of BP which went to the Pembroke, Highashes The Bees Knees. She is quite delightful and has correct Pem proportions. Liked her head, with good eyes, ears and expression. Well angulated fromt and rear and holds her topline. V good profile mover.
