Bouvier Des Flandres Club Of Great Britain

Breed: Bouvier Des Flandres

Bouvier des Flandres Club of GB

My thanks for the invitation to judge your breed show. V good sporting atmosphere which was good to see. Some of the dogs didn’t like the floor, shame we were not outside. Good to see some newer people showing, some of whom need help and support.

Minor Puppy D (1)

1. Shanley’s Chepam No Ordinary Love

Has good proportions and moved v well. Unsettled today and v reluctant to be examined. Bit more practice needed.

Puppy d (1)

Interesting class to judge as they were all slightly different in type

1. Lambert & Eastam’s Ch/It Ch Quiche’s Xplorer Treks to Bouvpilot

Liked his proportions and size. Has a good head, flat skull. Dark eyes. Enough neck, trim makes it look a bit too short. Well laid shoulder. Excellent body. Well sprung ribs. Firm topline. Liked his moderate rear, low hocks. Balanced and easy mover. Super coat. CC & BIS

2. Nichols’ Ch Nikolaev Malbec

Looks a fraction long but shortens on the move, which is where he beats 3. Liked his head. Correct neck. Well laid shoulder. Decent upper arm. Well bodied. Moderate rear, could be firmer in hock. V easy stride. RCC & RBIS

3. Pierpoint’s Chepam Grenadier

Good citizen d (1)

1. Jones’ Nikolaev Coburn at Jonaida

Veteran b (3,1)

1. Jones’ Nikolaev Seret at Abbiville

8 years. She has better proportions than 2. Fem head, although would like slightly more of it. Correct neck. Well laid shoulder. Chest to elbow with a good forechest. Well bent stifle and low hocks. Quite a good mover. BVIS

2. Nethercot’s Luik Juicy Lucy

Shows v well. Just looks slightly short in leg. She too is v fem in head. Correct neck. Moderate and balanced in angulation. Moved quite well.

Post grad b (1)

1. Jones’ Abbiville Winter Dream

Fem of v good proportions who obviously didn’t like the floor. Liked her head. Slightly too much neck. Well sprung ribs. Plenty of hind angulation. Correct coat.
