ENGLISH SETTER SOCIETY OF WALES CH SHOW
5TH APRIL 2026
Thank you to the Officers and Committee for inviting me to judge at their show and, as always, I consider it an honour and a privilege to be asked to judge our lovely breed at this level. I would like to thank the Club for their outstanding hospitality and my two stewards, Jane and Henrietta for looking after both John and I and their efficient running of the ring. Finally, I would like to thank the exhibitors for giving me a lovely entry and presenting their dogs in excellent condition. The overall quality of exhibits was good and eyes appear to have improved since I last judged. However, it was very disappointing that a number of exhibits who looked the part when standing disappointed on the move and this affected my placings. Junior and Graduate bitch classes were particularly hotly contested and placings could change another day.
