Veteran dog (1/0) 1st - Locheil Stop Right There VW (Mr D I & Mrs J A Thornley & Smith) Smart chap of nearly 9. White and black and tan. Reasonable to span. Body/leg length approx. 50:50 and medium length of body. Neat feet. Moderate angulation. Good width of skull and ears well set. Might prefer a slightly shorter muzzle and a little more defined stop, but lovely dark eye and rims. Correct bite. In good harsh coat. Moved out well. He pushed hard in the veteran challenge but just preferred the make and shape of the bitch.
Junior Dog (3/0) 1st Chandlimore Mandarin at Jaeva (Mr A & Mrs K Nagrecha & Tate). An absolute pleasure to go over this super quality, 7 months white and tan young lad. I loved his outline: showing good length in neck, enough forechest. equal body to length of leg proportions and just the right length of body. Spanned well. Very good lay of shoulder and return of upper arm, matched angulation at the rear, with excellent set on. Neat round feet. Masculine in head with a flat skull, and just the right amount of muzzle to skull ratio. Neat ears, well set and carried to accentuate his expression. Correct bite. Top class presentation in sparkling, harsh jacket. On the move, he got his head up and powered around the ring with style exhibiting that extra little bit of sparkle that despite his young age meant I couldn’t deny him BD and BP. I was delighted to watch him take PG4 and have no doubt he has a very bright future.
2nd - Eiddwen Theatre of Dreams TAF (Mr Ryan & Miss Rylee Robertson & Williams. Nine months white and tan youngster. Not quite the angulation of 1. Decent tail set and some behind. Spanned well. I liked his strength in head. Nice ear set and a good dark eye with tight dark rims. Plenty of underjaw and muzzle power, flat skull. Movement was typical of a loose baby but should tighten as he matures.
Post Grad Dog (3/1) 1st Tiltser Take It to The Limit (Mr D I & Mrs J A Thornley & Smith). White and tan lad - presents a smart outline. Body to length of leg approximately 50:50 and just the right length of body. Good length of neck, lay of shoulder and return of upper arm, showing some forechest. Well ribbed back and OK to span. Straight front and neat feet. I liked his rear angulation and tail was well set. Flat skull. Might prefer just a smidge shorter in muzzle. Moved out freely with drive.
2nd Twinan Raging Inferno with Bryndingo (Mr T.a. & Mrs I.m. Bailey). White and tan. Not quite the balance of 1. Moderate front and rear angulation and might prefer a little more return of upper arm. Good to span. Lovely, neat feet. Very nice dark almond-shaped eye with good, dark rims. I liked his muzzle depth and length and clean, flat skull. Ears set correctly and well used. Presented in good, harsh jacket.
Open Dog (4/1) 1st Pentatty Baga Chipz (Ms A Horwood). White and tan. An extremely smart, quality lad, presented to advantage. Impressed on his body to leg proportion, strong head and masculinity. Sufficient length of arched neck leads to a very good lay of shoulder and return of upper arm, showing forechest. Spanned OK. Very strong, masculine head with punishing muzzle, very well-defined stop, big teeth and correct bite. Small ears set and used well. In lovely, harsh jacket. Moved out freely with drive. It was a very close decision in the challenge between two top class dogs, the puppy just pipping him on overall outline. RBD
2nd Blazingjacks Best Mate with Jackopeaks ShCEx (Mrs D Kay). White and tan. Scored on his head shape and powerful muzzle. Neat ears folded well and dropping to outer edge of eye. Lovely dark eye and black rims. Moderate front and rear angulation; a little longer cast than 1 and would prefer a little more return of upper arm. Spanned OK. Excellent set on with plenty behind the tail. Moved ok
Veteran Bitch (1/0) 1st Jackopeaks Bakewell Puddin VW (Mrs D Kay). In super condition and a credit to her owner. I really liked this smooth girl for her size and overall make and shape. Feminine head – might prefer a little more underjaw, but lovely dark eye and rims. Ears a little unsettled. Very good leg to depth of body proportion, shoulder, return of upper arm showing desired forechest with absolutely straight front and neat feet. Her rear angulation matched her front and provided free striding movement with drive, which ultimately tipped the balance in her favour and I was delighted to award her BV.
Junior bitch (4/1) 1st Eiddwen Sea of Dreams (Mrs D & Mr Simon Jenkins). 7 months, feminine, white and tan young lady. Presented a nice outline. Might prefer a smidge more length of leg to balance but medium length body and good set on with plenty behind the tail. Scored on front and rear angulation; sufficient return of upper arm, providing some forechest. Spanned well. I particularly liked her head with correct muzzle length, flat skull and neat ears, set well. Dark, almond eye with good dark rims. Moved well both ways and with drive. Well presented. RBB
2nd Norwilbeck Bellchime Bling (Mrs S J & Mr G Huckerby & Dowell). White and tan young lady. Well-presented and in gleaming coat. Moderate length of neck into reasonable lay of shoulder. I might prefer a little more return of upper arm. Well ribbed back and good to span. Feminine head with good ears. Might prefer a slightly shorter muzzle but enough power and lovely big teeth.
Post Grad bitch (2/0) 1st Jackopeaks Peaches Legacy (Mrs D & Miss W Kay & Smith). White and tan girl of good size. Took the class on her head proportions, with flat skull, strength of muzzle and neat ears well set. Lovely dark, almond shaped eye and dark rims. Good to span and well ribbed back. Tail set on well. Would prefer a little more front and rear angulation and a touch longer on leg to balance. Moved straight both ways and with enough drive which, combined with her strength in muzzle tipped the balance her way in the class.
2nd Blazingjacks Cameron at Eiddwen (Mrs D & Mr Simon Jenkins). Not quite the muzzle strength of 1, but lovely dark eye, dark rims and neat ears. Would prefer a little more front and rear angulation and length of leg to balance. Neat feet. A touch steep in upper arm which showed in her front movement. Well set on tail. In crisp jacket and well presented.
Open bitch (3/2) 1st Chandlimore Rainbow over Jaeva (Mr A & Mrs K Nagrecha & Tate) Top quality, balanced bitch. Two years old, 50/50 length of leg to body depth. Just the right length of body. Spanned well and well ribbed back. Very good front and rear angulation, showing some forechest. Straight front and neat feet. A firm topline flows into a good set on and enough behind the tail. Loved her head; feminine but strong with plenty of muzzle power and depth of muzzle. Ears well set, of good size and used well. Being picky, I might prefer slightly darker eye. Correct bite and big strong teeth. In gleaming, harsh jacket. The best mover of the day – absolutely straight and true, which took her to BB and BOB. I was thrilled to watch her take G3 in a very strong terrier group.
