Southern Counties Canine Association

Breed: Australian Cattle Dog

Veteran Dog (1, 1)

1.  Greenhill's Evaland Vuk (IMP LVA) - Well grown fifteen month old blue, with a broad head and flat skull, neat ears, strong neck into a level topline, well sprung ribbing, well off for bone, enough angulation both ends and well muscled.  He did tend to pace at first at slower speed, but soon sorted himself out once corrected.  Reserve Best Dog.

Open Dog (1)

1.  Jebson's Ch Greatest Of All Time Celirboo Village at Austmans (IMP CZE) - This three year old blue has a lovely head and expression so typical of the breed, well used ears, excellent front into a super topline, well angulated front and rear and in hard muscular condition, he stands on good feet and moved with an easy action covering the ground well.  Best Dog and Best of Breed.

Puppy Bitch (1)

1.  Bailey's Alira Redheart Linden Algona at Bryndigo (IMP SVK) - Six month old red bitch, pretty head and expression, darkest of eyes, good neck and level topline, enough angulation, hard topcoat, moved very well for such a baby.  Best Puppy.

Junior Bitch (1)

1.  Jebson's Austmans Greatest Hit - At just over twelve months this blue has a balanced head and is well proportioned with a level topline, although it slopes away a tad, hind end just needs to strengthen to give her a bit more power on the move.

Post Graduate Bitch (1)

1.  Greenhill's Nymph Carpathian Dingo (IMP SVK) - This two and a half year old blue girl had a strong but feminine head, muzzle perhaps a tad short, well placed dark eyes, good front and level topline, enough rear angulation, another that tends to pace if not corrected but did enough to warrant Reserve Best Bitch.

Open Bitch (2, 1)

1.  Jebson's Ch Austmans Truckin' Gold - This almost two year old red bitch was very alert to her handler, nice head and expression with brown eyes and well used ears, good front angulation but tends to stand a bit wide in front, she has a level topline with a good overall outline, decent rear angulation, in super coat and condition, moved well.  Best Bitch but had to give way to the Best Dog today, who was on top form.
