I would like to thank the committee for inviting me to judge at their very well run and well organised show, I really enjoyed my judging and was very pleased to see my BOB was awarded 2nd in a very strong hound group.
SBG (1)
1st. Mrs Christine Connor’s- Hydebeck Eternal Love.
A well grown young male, he is well boned throughout with a masculine head, dark eyes a strong muzzle and the correct bite and dentition. Well set ears and a strong neck, well laid shoulders and deep chest, ribcage well sprung. He is still young but does look promising but at the moment his movement is a little erratic.

1st. Mrs M L Severn-kumar’s Gaelmarque- Hereward.
A 9 month old red/brindle, head and muzzle of the correct proportions, ears well set on, long neck, shoulders well laid and a deep chest, ribs well sprung and well carried back, strong loin. Back and topline correct, nicely angulated rear quarters and low set hocks. He moved steadily and was true coming and going with reach and drive in profile, a promising puppy.
2nd. Mrs M L Severn-kumar’s Gaelmarque- Silfr Muighe.
Litter brother to the first placed dog, and also looking very promising at this stage but compared to his brother he didn’t have the same depth of body. He is well boned with a masculine head, well set ears, and a strong muzzle, long strong neck, shoulders well laid back, back and topline correct, strong loin, nicely angulated rear quarters, his movement wasn’t quite as collected as his brothers.

1st. Mrs S J Forret’s-Culvercroft Ivanhoe.
A 14 month old looking mature and confident, head and muzzle of the correct proportions, I would have preferred his ears being held correctly, long strong neck, upper arms and shoulders well laid, deep chest, toppling correct, strong and nicely angulated rear quarters, he moved soundly showing reach and drive in profile.

1st. Mrs T Tingle-Reynolds-Fosco della Bassa Pavese (imp) It.
A 2 1/2 year old and masculine dog throughout, head and muzzle of the correct proportions, dark eyes and the correct bite and dentition. Ears not being held correctly, long strong neck, well laid shoulders but a little upright in front. Deep chest, and well sprung ribcage, back and topline correct, strong rear quarters and nicely angulated stifles. He moved soundly showing reach and drive.

1st. Mr Graeme and Mrs Fiona Dawsons-Hydebecck Tyme To Love At Graefyn JW.
A 2 1/2 year old masculine dog, well boned throughout strong head and muzzle, dark eyes, ears held correctly and a strong powerful neck. Good return of upper arms and shoulders well laid back, deep chest and a well sprung ribcage, back and topline correct, correct bend of stifle and low set hocks, feet of the correct shape and size. He is very sound on the move and showed reach and drive in profile.
2nd. Miss J M Littlefairs- Conmeryl Joshua Jopp.
Almost 4 years old and a little finer throughout than the first placed dog, head and muzzle of the correct proportions, ears could be held better, long neck, nicely angulated front and rear quarters, deep chest, ribs well sprung and ribs carried well back, strong loin and low set hocks, he strode out well in profile but his movement coming on was a little untidy.

1st. Mrs D Tebbutts Ch Caredig Mafioso.
At 3 1/2 years old and at the peak of maturity he has had a very successful career to date and I am sure it will go on for some time yet. I have watched his progress and was very pleased to be able to judge him today, he is very substantial and muscular throughout being strong and well boned. Head and skull of the correct proportions, dark eyes and ears held correctly, powerful muzzle, correct bite and dentition. Long powerful neck, well laid shoulders and good return of upper arms. Deep powerful chest and well sprung ribcage, ribs carried well back and a strong powerful loin, well bent stifles and low set hocks, his movement is deliberate and sound coming and going and showing reach and drive in profile, coat of the correct texture, I was very pleased to award him BOB and see that he was awarded 2nd in a very strong hound group.
2nd. Miss Kim Webb & Mrs Caroline Sheppards Killoughhery mission Two for Inkleyboys JW.
A 4 year old dog being masculine throughout, well boned and powerfully made, correct head proportions and a powerful muzzle, ears held correctly, dark eyes, correct bite and dentition. Strong powerful neck, well laid shoulders, deep brisket and spring of rib, back and topline correct. Powerful rear quarters, low set hocks and feet correct. His movement is sound and true and he was handed to advantage, pleased to award him the RCC.

A 21 month old feminine but strong bitch throughout, head of the correct proportions, ears well carried, dark eyes and the correct bite, long clean neck, correct breadth of chest, nicely angulated front and rear quarters, deep chest, ribs well sprung and carried back to a strong loin, low set hocks. Coat of the correct texture and she moved steadily showing reach and drive. Pleased to award her Best Special Beginner's.
2nd. Mr David Malone’s- Barachois Quackie.
A 2 year old of the correct proportions, showing balance throughout, skull and muzzle correct dark eyes and the correct bite and dentition. Strong neck, well laid shoulder and upper arms, deep chest, back and topline correct, strong loin and low set hocks. Her movement was erratic and she seemed unsettled today, not handled to her best.

1st. Mrs Kaye Spry’s Killoughery Eclipse.
An 11 month old dark brindle, balanced and in proportion, feminine but strong head and muzzle, dark eyes and ears carried correctly, bite and dentition correct. Long neck and a well laid shoulder deep chest, back and topline correct, gentle slope to her loin, nicely bent stifles, coat of the correct texture, low set hocks and she moved well showing reach and drive, pleased to her award her Best Puppy in Breed.

1st. Mrs D Tebbutt’s Honris Caredig Della Bassa Pavese (imp It).
A 15 month old dark brindle, she is elegant and strong throughout, showing the correct outline for the breed, balanced and in proportion, head and muzzle strong, dark eyes and pigment, ears set on correctly. Long strong neck, well laid shoulders and return of upper arm, deep chest, back and topline correct, coat of the correct texture. Broad strong upper thighs and nicely bent stifles, feet correct and she moved soundly and showing reach and drive in profile, very pleased to award her the RCC.
2nd. Mrs S J Forret’s-Culvercroft Isolda.
A 14 month old Dark brindle with white socks, head and muzzle of the correct proportions, ears held correctly, dark eyes and the correct bite and dentition, long neck, nicely angulated front and rear quarters, deep chest, correct spring of rib and ribs carried well back, topline correct, stifles well bent and low set hocks. Movement didn’t seem as collected and positive as the first placed bitch.

1st. Mrs PA & Mr PV Pask’s Florence Della Passa Pavese To Baronglen (imp It) JW.
A 2 1/2 year old impressive bitch being balanced and in proportion, head long and balanced, ears held correctly, strong muzzle, dark eyes and pigment. Bite and dentition correct, Long strong neck, well laid shoulders and good return of upper arm. Deep brisket, ribcage well sprung and ribs carried well back, strong loin and correct back and topline, gentle slope to her loin, feet of the correct size and her coat was in good order and of the correct texture, broad strong upper thighs, nicely bent stifles and low set hocks. Her movement was easy and active showing reach and drive in profile, I was very pleased to award her the CC.
2nd. Miss C Louise Pinkney’s-Hydebeck Dream to Love Jw.
A 21/2 year old cream bitch, compact and strong throughout, head of the correct proportions, ears carried correctly, dark eyes and pigment, strong muzzle, bite and dentition correct. Long strong neck, well laid shoulders and return of upper arm, Deep brisket, ribs well sprung, back and topline correct. Strong rear quarters and low set hocks, coat of the correct texture, unfortunately she was involved in an incident prior to judging, not of her making and I think this unsettled her, even so she still moved steadily and soundly.

1st. Mrs S Wilkinson’s-Rainster Ellex Among Hunacres.
A mature bitch, being well grown with a typical outline, balanced and in proportion, correct head planes, ears could be held better, dark eyes and the correct bite and dentition. Strong powerful neck, well laid shoulders, good return of upper arms, deep chest, well sprung ribcage,Back and topline correct, nicely angulated rear quarters and nicely bent stifles and low set hocks, she moved steadily with reach and drive.
