Class 1623 MPD (2 Entries) Abs: 1
1st: 3389 SEVERN-KUMAR’s Gaelmarque Hereward a well-grown 8-month-old with pleasing development, good bone and body. Liked his head, neck and neck set, with a good overall outline and topline for age True in front with good length and let-down behind. Needs to settle, gain confidence and mature on the sound foundation he possesses. Free moving. Very promising.
Class 1624 PD (1 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: 3405 SUMNER, Dukesarum August a well-grown 11-month-old striking young male with pleasing bone and body. Currently looks to be at a leggy stage, but has all the essentials to mature into an impressive adult. True in front, though a little upright and needing to tighten. Free moving. Has the basics and plenty of scope for maturity.
Class 1625 JD (2 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: 3385 FORRET's Culvercroft Ivanhoe a substantial 15-month-old male, more developed in body than 2nd at present. Better in front and body proportions, with good hindquarters. Pleasing profile when standing, but needs to settle to show his best. Movement was unsettled, though he displayed potential to move better.
2nd: 3408 TAYLOR’s Pretty Dogs First Chester a 15-month-old young male with pleasing bone and body. Attractive head, correct in shape and proportion. Needs to mature and tighten throughout to improve his outline, and to settle—particularly in front movement.
Class 1626 YD (1 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: 3383 BELL-ASHE’s Haziannes Knights Crusader a sturdy, well-bodied 20-month-old male with pleasing bone and plenty enough substance. Pleasing head and expression, with notably dark, correctly shaped eyes and a strong neck of good length. Lacked animation on the move.
Class 1629 OD (5 Entries) Abs: 1
1st: 3409 TEBBUTT’s Ch Caredig Mafioso an impressive, mature 4-year-old male of great size, elegance and commanding presence. Excellent head, neck, substance and balanced profile. Well-constructed throughout, with good fore-chest, sound angulation and strong hindquarters. In fit condition, he moved with precise purpose, true parallel action in front and powerful drive behind. My Dog CC and Best of Breed winner and later Hound Group 4.
2nd: 3392 SHEPPARD & WEBB’s Killoughery Mission Two For Inkleyboys JW a striking, upstanding 4-year-old male with good bone and pleasing body substance. Attractive, well-proportioned head set on a strong neck of good length. Well made in front, with adequate chest width and fill-in, a graceful topline and firm loin. True in front, balanced in angulation throughout, and moved freely and truly. Close up to 1st. My Reserve Dog CC winner.
3rd: 3398 SPRY’s Ch Killoughery Touchstone
Class 1631 MPB (3 Entries) Abs: 1
1st: 3391 SEVERN-KUMAR’s Gaelmarque Torfrida a pleasing breed-typical 8-month-old bitch with well-developed bone and body. Attractive head, true front and nicely developing body, with strong, moderately angulated hindquarters. Moved with a steady, controlled action. 2nd: 3395 EVANS’ Braewisan Lilith a raw but promising 6-month-old bitch with well-developed bone and body. Attractive head, true front and a nicely developing outline, with pleasing hindquarter angulation. She has a sound foundation for future maturity. Moved in a typical puppy manner and needs to settle.
Class 1632 PB (3 Entries) Abs: 1
1st: 3406 SUMNER’s Dukesarum Caoimhe a very impressive, shapely 11-month-old bitch of notable quality. Well grown, elegant and possessing the graceful outline of a running hound. She has great scope to mature into a quality adult. Attractive breed-typical head, good length of neck and body, and balanced angulation throughout. Stands naturally and is easy to assess. A quality bitch of the future. Best Puppy in Breed. 2nd: 3407 SUMNER’s Dukesarum River I note she is litter sister to 1st and sharing many of her qualities, with a similar rangy appearance. Well developed in bone and body, standing over the ground with a balanced, well-proportioned profile. Attractive head set on a clean neck of good length. Tends to appear more upright than 1st and needs to be more settled on the move.
Class 1633 JB (2 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: 3388 SEVERN-KUMAR’s Ersebrayer Orkney Gaelmarque a sturdy 16-month-old bitch of good size and substance. Well made in front, which I preferred to 2nd. Pleasing ribbing and moderately angulated hindquarters. Attractive head shape, though I would prefer darker eyes which would improve her expression. The better mover in the class.
2nd: 3384 FORRET’s Culvercroft Isolda a good-sized 15-month-old bitch, currently at an adolescent and somewhat shapeless stage, tending to lose her topline. Pleasing head shape with typical features, good bone and sufficient body cover. True in front, though her feet tending to flatten. Moved freely although unsettled.
Class 1634 YB (1 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: 3399 SPRY & WARWICK’s Cairnstorm Legacy a substantial, well-built and well-bodied bitch with an attractive, breed-typical head set on a good-length neck. Firm and sturdy throughout, with a pleasing topline and more than enough body cover over the loin. Pleasing overall proportions, moderate hindquarter angulation and a balanced outline. Free, steady movement.
Class 1636 LB (3 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: 3386 PASK’s & PASK’s Florence Della Bassa Pavese To Baronglen (Imp) It JW a mature 2½-year-old bitch of satifying overall shape, feminine yet with good size and substance. Balanced in angulation front and rear, with sound construction, good forequarters and fore-chest. Attractive, breed-typical head and pleasing symmetry throughout. Moved well and headed the bitch classes to win the Bitch CC. In the challenge for Best of Breed, her similarities to the male winner were especially satisfying.
2nd: 3404 SUMNER’s Dukesarum Evie Substantial 3¾-year-old bitch of great size and being of rangier construction than 1st. Pleasing head, eye and expression, set on a strong neck of good length. Well bodied, with good length, spring and depth. True in front, though having more upright pasterns than preferred. Moved freely, but not with the same control as first.
Class 1637 OB (4 Entries) Abs: 2
1st: 3403 SUMNER’s Ch Dukesarum Tallulah a mature 3¾-year-old ‘stand out’ bitch with a powerful appearance while retaining her feminine qualities. Attractive head, both in shape and expression, and impressive in stature, overall make and outline. I preferred her front and tight elbows to second, and she presents a very satisfying profile. The better mover in the class. My Reserve Bitch CC winner.
2nd: 3393 SHEPPARD & SHEPPARD’s Ch Gaelmarque Treasured By Goldswift JW a mature-looking 5-year-old of satisfying overall conformation. Attractive head, both in shape and expression, set on a strong neck of good length. Firm body with notable depth of chest, good balance and pleasing body proportions. Tended to be unsettled with loose elbows and to overreach on the move.
