Midland Counties Canine Society

Its been a few years since l last judged the breed and l'm sorry to say l didn't feel that is in the best of condition. Just a lack of overall quality and it was difficult to find the type that l prefer. I don't like saying things like this, but l feel breeders need to know and hopefully correct in the future.

I had two wonderful stewards and l thank them both for working so hard all day.

Junior dog.  (2) 1 abs.

1. Harris and Sharp Bales Neradmik Shooting Star.

Very promising young dog, very full of himself on the move. Ok for size and balance, very typical in head and expression, well placed ears and nice markings. Quite sound, though didn't help his handler and needs to settle a bit more. Should have a good future

Limit dog. (3)1 abs

1. Hills Bargeway Dark Knight at Plymkees.

Quite a smart dog, scorers in head and expression, good on neck and shoulder, good in topliner and tailset, well ribbed short and compact. Quite sound on the move though stan ding could have a straighter front.

2. Bennets. Zandfoort Mr Sunshine.

A little different in balance to my winner. Very masculine in head and expression, nice dark eye, well placed ears. good in topline. He is sound coming and going but in profile would prefer a little more drive,

Open (4) 1 abs.

1. Ch Divnyi Drug Dar (imp Rus)

I liked this dog as he stands out for type and balance, in full coat and really looked the part. Pleasing in head and expression. Good front with good bone and nice feet. Firm ion topline and really moves out well. CC & BOB

2. Miles, Dean & Cullen & Cullen's. Ch Skylines Outlander at Lekkerbek (imp USA)

A dog l have admired in the past and lots to like about him, today though shown not in his best coat and so lacked that final finish that l was looking for. He is a nice size, not top heavy, well balanced, he is sound and free moving and his handler always gets the best out of him. Res. CC.

3. Saunders. Ch Liefkees Amore.

Veteran dog (1)

A remarkable 11 years old and moves like half that age. Still so sound and free moving. He is good in head balance with a nice dark eye, well marked, nice small; ears and uses them then while time. |he was in super coat and condition and his owner must be complimented on his condition.

Puppy bitch. (1)

1. Brunts. Zandfoort Wind In Her Hair.

Very promising young lady and so full of herself and really enjoyed her day. She is very sound and to go over her she is short and compact, good in neck and shoulder, very in good in front with good bone and nice feet.

Junior (2) 1 abs.

1.  Axford and Sherwoods, Watermyth Gota A Lota Sass.

A very feminine bitch who is nice in head, well placed ears, dark eye. Right amount of neck, good topline and corre4ct tail set. Sound in front but a little close behind today. Moves really nice in profile with a good driving action.

Limit(4) 1 abs.

1. Eings. Neradmik Tinsel Town at Baleissa.

A bitch full of quality and caught my eye as soon as she came into the ring, totally feminine in head and expression, good in neck and shoulder. Excellent topline and tail set, short and compact. So sound and free moving. In the challenge l felt she stood out and so was awarded the cc who i was told made her a well deserved champion.

2. Bells. Allforus Miracle of Love.

Standing this bitch presents a very nice picture and l was quite taken with her. Quality in head and expression. She is well balanced being short and compact. She was in good coat which was a very nice texture. But sadly on the move she drops her head and loses that nice outline and which is where my winner scored.

3. Fitches Samoykees Ippolitas Kisses

open.  (4).

1. Churchs  Tykees We Go Solo.

A nice bitch who really makes the most of herself both standing and moving, but then she has a very good handler too. So nice to go over, she is nice and expression, her topline is good, she is sound and free moving. Very close up for the cc and it was splitting hairs, well worthy of the res cc.

2. Brunts. Ch Zandfoort Graces Secret.

Very similar in type to my winner, also nice in head properties, nice dark eye, lovely expression, good in neck and topline, very good hind angulation, just not as good in front as winner and where l split them.

3. Tews. Ch Bargeway Crystal Clear

Veteran. (3) Have to say this breeds veterans always look so good.

1. McKeans Ch Kichigai It Takes Two at Yawren

10 years old and you would never guess it. Smaller type but still with a nice overall balance. Still moves out so well .  She was shown min good coat and really looked the part.

2. Saunders. Liefkees Adina.

Also 10 years old and was certainly enjoying her day. She also is good in head type, nice dark eye, excellent mouth for her age. Still firm in topline and was in good coat. Moved ok in profile but could have been better in front.

3. NLD Ch Samoykees Gypsy Girls Moon
