HARRIER

PD 2(0)

Two raw 6 month old puppies.

1. Farrar’s Henissy Fergus. I liked this young lad had a little more strength in muzzle than 2, good pigmentation, equal head proportions, correct round bone, nicely made front on him, ribs of good length, good proportions on him, not too long in back, needs to strengthen in his hocks but standing he is very balanced and has good type, lovely compact feet, RBD & BP.

2. Farrar’s Henissy Fenton. A little bit finer throughout, level head planes and I would like to have a little more strength of muzzle, like 1 has super feet, loses his top-line on the move, bit stronger in the rear than 1, both just a little bit unsure of everything, will improve with time, just thought that the winner was a bit more masculine.

JD 4(2)

1. Farrar’s Henissy Firefly. I liked this dog’s frame on him, he is moderate built of medium size, correct bone and feet, balanced head, equal head proportions on him, good depth of chest and correct moderate angulation front and back, a little bit soft in top-line but is a nice type and once he settles he carries himself well, unexaggerated, has good parts, excellent feet as well.

2. Griffiths’ Henissy Firecracker of Dazzleby* Taller dog than 1, masculine head on him, lovely strength and squareness of muzzle, good ear set, super bone, would like a bit more depth of chest and fill in front, has good proportions of body and leg, ideally like 1 could do with a firmer top-line on him but super strong rounded buttocks, moderate rear angulation, he holds his shape on the move, would just like a better top-line on him, just a bigger framed dog than 1 but has good attributes.

PGD 2(0)

1. Farrar’s Henissy Fiver. Very honest dog, correct size, very balanced through his head, his front and his rear, no exaggeration, clean strong neck on him, front well under body, has depth to his chest, holds his top-line, low set hocks, lovely footfall on him with good reach and sound rear, lovely muscle tone, short fine coat, lots to like, nicely balanced, BD & BOB.

2. Farrar’s Henissy Firework. Level head planes on him, moderate stop, ears set low, almond shaped eye, straight forelegs, doesn’t quite have the fill of front as 1, what he does have is excellent long ribcage with a short loin, angular rear, for me, he just slopes off in top-line a little on the move, strong muscle tone throughout, again good for size, nice dog, just preferred the outline on the move of 1.

OD 1(0)

1. Farrar’s Henissy Fanfare. Agile open male, flat skull, could have a little bit more underjaw, dark eyes, ear set could be a fraction lower for ideal, straight forelegs, strong muscular arched neck, prefer a little bit more fill in front, well sprung ribs, good top-line on him, muscular rear, on the move he is positive in profile but he is a little wide in front, super condition and correct tail set.

PB 2(0)

Two litter mates, still need to find confidence in themselves and to settle down.

1. Farrar’s Henissy Festive. She is very feminine, neat ears, lovely pigment on her, eyes well set, moderate stop, again moderate angulation front and back, super feet, compact body on her, low set hocks, just needs to settle and find her confidence.

2. Farrar’s Henissy Feather. Slightly bigger framed bitch than 1, still needs to drop into her chest and preferred the shoulder placement on 1 but this bitch has straight forelegs, ribs of good length, has nice width in thigh, just not confident on the move but that will come.

JB 3(2)

1. Farrar’s Henissy Fidget. Balanced head on her, eyes a little full for ideal and could have a better ear set but she has a long neck, round bone on her with super feet, good length of rib, nice tuck up, holds her top-line, once she settles she has good footfall on her in profile, strong tail set well, ideally when moving up and down correct off square proportions, would like slightly more width in rear, she has good parts on her, BB.

LB 1(0)

1. Farrar’s Henissy Farthing. She has a finer muzzle but equal head proportions on her, good ear set, has some strength and length on her neck, front legs nicely under her body, correct depth of chest on her, nice extension of rib, a little wide in her front, firm top-line, high set tail, prefer a little bit stronger in hock, in profile she is a free mover and covers the ground, medium build, bit longer cast than off square.

VB 2(1)

1. Farrar’s Frenzy at Henissy AW(S). 11 years old and full of life and vitality, she has a feminine head on her, good skull, lovely dark eyes, ears of medium size, muscular neck, good body and leg proportions, well sprung ribs, strong tail, thick at base, not quite as strong in her rear as she probably was but is a nice type and liked her attitude, lovely feet on her, dark pigment, RBB & BV.
