MPD 2(1)

1. Wood’s Bardonhill A New Chapter. Just 6 month old, real raw baby but he has a good headpiece on him, correct lean skull, visible occiput, raised brows, straight forelegs, he has a moderate length of neck, has some chest between front legs, compact feet, moderate spring of rib, his profile, he has a clean neck with correct slight slope to the top-line, carries his tail well on the move, moderate rear angulation with low set hocks, just needs to settle on the move, full of himself and lively but good temperament and will definitely improve with time.

PD 1(0)

1. Berry/Morris’ Forfarian The Uncloaked. Nicely balanced dog with an elegant outline, he has correct length of skull, equal head proportions, slightly oval skull, not overdone in lip, lovely strong lean neck of good length, good length of leg to him, a little bit down on his pasterns, good depth to his chest, ribs extend well back with some spring, I liked his proportions, good croup, tail set and carriage, on the move he holds his shape with correct slight slope to top-line, places his front well on the move, just needs to strengthen in rear but standing he has lovely shape and balance to him, lots of potential, BP.

JD 4(1)

Three quite different dogs of age and development.

1. Poole’s Gwendariff Ring Aring Aroses (IKC). I liked his proportions, he has correct length of leg and he holds his top-line with a clean neck and backline at all times, masculine head, could be a little bit leaner in skull but he has prominent occiput, equal head proportions, ears set low, has some depth to his chest with some fill in front, straight forelegs, ribs of good length, correct length of loin, moderate slope to croup, could be a little bit lower in hock, I liked his profile movement but he needs to settle on the up and down but he has type, lovely rich colour as well.

2. Turner’s Dazycutter Blazing Fire. Just a 12 month old puppy dog, more immature than 1, oval skull, correct nicely raised brows and I liked his eye shape, nice expression, moderate length of neck, preferred the shoulder of 1 but again, like 1, he has straight forelegs, needs to tighten in his elbow, on the move, like 1, he could be neater in rear, top-line is a little level on the move, correct croup and tail, moderate rear angulation, prefer less throat on him, just needs time but he has good parts to him.

3. Needs’ Covarney Mighty Quinn with Stourford.

2. Hyslop’s Gwendariff Little White Lie (IKC). Smaller mould of dog, lean skull, has some chissling, prefer a slightly darker eye to him, he has ok length of neck but would prefer better lay of shoulder, straight forelegs, correct compact feet, needs to develop in ribbing, he has moderate rear angulation, correct croup and tail with low set hocks, just not as collected as 1 on the move.
