1st: ROLLASON & GOULD, Merdelaines Cime Du Diable, 6 months Harlequin male of good quality & breed type, excellent temperament, good mouth, lovely head piece with good proportions, oval eye giving a pleasing expression, well placed ears, strong neck into well laid shoulders, he was moderately angled throughout, good depth of brisket and ribbing, stood on ample bone with strong pasterns and nice tight feet, level back into well moulded croup & tail set, tail reaching to hocks, well-developed hindquarters for a youngster, clean hocks with double dew claws present. He was sound both ways with an effortless side gait showing good reach & drive. Shown in good coat & condition.
2nd: GOULD, Merdelaines Chaberton, 6 months B&T male, another of good quality & breed type, excellent temperament, good mouth, lovely head piece with good proportions, nice dark eye giving a lovely expression, well placed ears, strong neck into well laid shoulders, he was moderately angled throughout, good depth of brisket and ribbing, stood on ample bone with strong pasterns and nice tight feet, level back into well moulded croup & tail set, tail reaching to hocks, good hindquarters just need to firm a little going, clean hocks with double dew claws present. He was sound both ways with a lovely side gait showing good reach & drive. Shown in good condition & well handled.

1st: & BOB PREDDY, Royales Adventure Yosemite with Overhill (Imp USA), 3 yrs B&T male of excellent quality & breed type, excellent temperament, good mouth, lovely head piece with good proportions, dark oval eye giving a pleasing expression, well placed ears, strong neck into well laid shoulders, he was moderately angled throughout, good depth of brisket and ribbing, stood on ample bone with strong pasterns and nice tight feet, level back into well moulded croup & tail set, tail reaching to hocks, well-developed hindquarters, clean hocks with double dew claws present. He was sound both ways with an effortless side gait showing good reach & drive. Shown in good coat & muscular condition.
2nd: & Res BD HARRELL & BRANCHFLOWER, Titan des Ramparts Castels (Imp) Fra, 4 years B&T male of good quality & breed type, slightly heavier in build than winner, good temperament, correct mouth, lovely head piece with good proportions, dark oval eye giving a pleasing expression, well placed ears, strong neck into well laid shoulders, he was moderately angled throughout, good depth of brisket and ribbing, stood on ample bone with strong pasterns and nice tight feet, level back into well moulded croup & tail set, tail reaching to hocks, well-developed hindquarters, clean hocks with double dew claws present. He was sound coming and needs to tighten in hocks a little going, with a steady side gait showing good reach & drive. Shown in good coat, would have preferred him in harder condition. His young handler piloted him well.
Such a pity that his owner tried to remonstrate with me after judging was finished, citing previous wins and producing a breed survey report on her exhibits. One has to realise that a judge’s placings are based on an opinion of the dog, on that day, not on previous awards. So would recommend that the owner does not request a critique, if she’s not graceful enough to accept the findings of the judge. It’s not sporting and does the breed and our sport a disservice.

1st: Res BB & BPIB HARRELL & BRANCHFLOWER, Beaukitas Ava's Endeavour, 10 mths, B&T female of good breed type, excellent temperament, good mouth, a shade heavier in head for me, nevertheless the proportions and planes were correct, nice dark eye giving a pleasing expression, well placed ears, strong neck of correct length, into well laid shoulders, moderately angulated throughout, stood on ample bone, pasterns need to strengthen a little, good feet, good depth of brisket and ribbing, level back into well moulded croup and tail set, good length of tail, well-developed hindquarters for a youngster, clean hocks with double dew claws present. She was sound both ways with a steady side gait.

1st: GOULD, Merdelaines Tormenta, 6 months, quality female of good breed type, excellent temperament, good mouth, lovely head piece with good planes & proportions, lovely dark eye giving a pleasing expression, well placed ears, strong neck into well laid shoulders, a shade steeper in upper arm, stood on ample bone, strong pasterns & tight feet, Good depth of brisket & ribbing, strong loins, level back into well moulded croup & tail set, tail reaching hock, lovely well angulated hindquarters with strong hocks, double dew claws present. She was sound both ways with a steady side gait showing fair reach and good drive. Shown in good coat & condition, well presented.
2nd: GOULD, Merdelaine Femme Hurlante, 6 months Harlequin, litter sister to winner, another of good quality & breed type, excellent temperament, good mouth, lovely head piece with good proportions and head planes, lovely oval eye giving her a pleasing expression, well placed ears which need to settle, good neck into well laid shoulders, she was moderately angulated throughout, stood on ample bone, with strong pasterns and tight feet, fair depth of brisket & good ribbing, level back into well moulded croup & tail set, good length of tail, double dew claws present, strong hocks. She was sound both ways when she settled, with a steady side gait showing ample reach & drive. Shown in good coat & condition. Her young handler needs to be commended on piloting her, showing good control and empathy with her charge, it’s so nice to hear the handler talking to her dog, a promising future handler.

She was sound both ways with a steady side gait showing good drive from behind. Shown in good coat & condition.
