SPECIAL AWARDS

I would like to express my thanks to the committee for their invitation to judge the special award classes at their championship show. As usual, their friendliness and hospitality was outstanding. J, (1,1), L, (4, 2) 1 Shields’ Ravenheim Wulfgar Lothbrok for Lochlannach. Well bodied 5-year-old male with a square outline. Masculine head and expression, abundant ruff on a strong neck, level topline, correct coat, tail well set on and nicely curled. Good bone and feet. Moved steadily and well all ways. 2 Haugstad’s Skogly’s Vinny Vivi Vidi. This 3½-year-old female was extremely unsettled today, to the extent that it was impossible to properly assess her, either standing or on the move. I could however see that she is a nicely proportioned bitch with a feminine expression and dark eye. O (4, 1) 1 Stephenson’s Ch Kamgaard Kyffin for Brawdor. I really liked this nice-for-size and well put together 2-year-old dog. Super head and dark eye, dense coat, strong neck with a rich ruff, level topline, strong back, good spring of rib, powerful loin and hindquarters. Balanced angulation. Moved out soundly and well all ways. 2 Hennessey’s Bowerhinton Bombette VW. Rising 11 years of age and what a super veteran! Compact bitch in fabulous coat and condition for her age. Feminine head and expression, good lay-back of shoulder which was balanced with her rear angulation, level topline and tail set high. Moved soundly and positively around the ring.
