South Of England Pomeranian Club

Breed: Pomeranian

South of England Pomeranian Club – 07/02/2026

Firstly, my sincere thanks to the Secretary, Michaela Hills, and to the Officers and Committee for inviting me to judge at their Championship Show today. I thoroughly enjoyed my day spent at the South of England; it is always a privilege to be asked to officiate for a breed club.

My thanks also go to the exhibitors for their entries and for accepting my decisions with such sportsmanship. The applause for fellow competitors throughout the day was genuinely heartening and is something all too often missing at some shows of late.

Temperaments across the entry were excellent. Overall type was pleasing, though movement is an area that would benefit from improvement. I was pleased to report only two small open fontanelles in dogs over twelve months.

Class 1 – Baby Puppy Dog

1. Kineticpoms Bright Flame. Lovely start to the day! 4.5 months. Beautiful head with a sweet expression, good pigment, lovely eye. If anything, I’d want his ear to be smaller. He is of ideal size, standing beautifully within his frame. I found him to have a well-constructed body with high tail set. His coat is very much in the baby-puppy stage as would be expected for his age. Moving, he appeared light on his feet although I would urge his handler to slow down as going too fast impacts negatively. BBPIS.

2. Yoshipom Join The Empire. 5.5 months and another of ideal size. He appeared very raw in comparison to 1 however with nothing to hide with his coat in the middle of its normal change. His puppy coat is coming through beautifully and was of correct texture. Another with a pleasing head and expression, nice eye although another with larger ear. Held himself well in stance however he was not as strong on movement as 1 today.

3. Breezelyn Ignited Inferno

Res. Kineticpoms Big Bang Theory

Class 2 – Baby Puppy Bitch

1. Amardica Halo Of Dreams. 5 months. She is of good size with a coat as black as you could wish for, I found this to have a good texture for her young age. She had the sweetest of head with a lovely foxy outline, nice ear size and set, dark eye. Another who stood with good shape and a lovely high tail set however her shape was somewhat spoilt on the move at times with her insistence on checking the floor – handler needs to work at keeping her head up. Slightly untidy in front at times due to this.

2. Kineticpoms Be My Eye Candy. 4.5 months of nice size and shape who also held herself well. Would like her neck to be shorter. Good coat for her age and she moved lightly on her feet although slightly close behind. Nice eye and good pigment, ear larger than ideal.

3. Breezelyn Crimson Inferno

Res. Willlow Wispers At Altina

VHC. Yoshipom Keep It Posh

Class 3 – Veteran Dog

1. Special Edition Of Persimoone JW VW (Imp UKR). 8 years. What can be said about this young lad that hasn’t been said already? He’s a true ambassador of the longevity of the breed – he is an overall truly honest dog. He carries an abundance of coat with great substance, texture and colour. Pleasing head with nice expression and good ear. Nice high tail set with the best of plumes reaching right to the top of his head. In body, he is soundly constructed with movement to match holding his shape throughout. BVIS.

Class 4 – Minor Puppy Dog

1. Klassna Prime Star At Diemzs. 8 months with a coat of beautiful rich colour and of correct texture. I found his head attractive with good eye and ear set. His body is where I would expect for his age, he is well constructed and stood within his frame. Ideally, his movement needs to settle coming and going but he moves nicely in profile keeping his shape throughout. BPD & BPIS.

Class 5 – Puppy Dog

1. Divinity A Touch Of Brooklyn At Altina. 10 months of larger size however this didn’t detract from his qualities in this class. Luxurious coat for his young age of correct texture. Pleasing head, with nice eye and ear set, size and good pigment. Liked his overall structure, tail set and movement although another whose movement needs to settle in front.

2. Rostellars Ostentatious. 11 months. Sweet head with nice eye and ear although I would prefer a slightly more defined muzzle to give the desired foxy expression. He is constructed well albeit his leg could be slightly longer to improve his overall balance. He has a nice coat of good quality and of correct texture. He moved well coming and round but tended to be a little close behind.

Class 6 – Junior Dog

1. Klassna That’s My Dream. 16 month who was incredibly attentive to his handler. In stance, he makes the most beautiful shape, he’s so incredibly well balanced. He has the most attractive head with ideal eye and ear set. His coat was abundant with a beautifully harsh texture. Movement in profile, he always held his shape. Sadly, he simply couldn’t match the movement coming and going of the main winners today.

2. Royalkapoms Magic Onyx By Larosapearl. 13 months. He has a sweet head with nice eye and ear set. He had a softer coat than 1 and I found him a little upright in shoulder upon inspection which meant his front lifted when moving, rear movement appeared strong.

Class 7 – Yearling Dog

1. CH Sueacres Catch A Dream JW. 16-month-old who stood alone in this class - but he was my star of the day! He had the most handsome of heads with correct eye, ear and expression. Nice dark pigment. His construction is ideal which is evident in his foot-perfect movement where he always held his shape, coming and going was everything I’d hoped it would be – straight and true. His tail is straight and high set, used well creating the typical ‘ball’ shape standing, always within his frame, incredibly well balanced. He had more than enough coat to assess that it was of good quality and excellent texture. DCC & BIS.

Class 8 – Novice Dog

1. Divinity A Touch Of Brooklyn At Altina – see 1 PD

2. Sharhazlah’s Devil On Fire. 10 months. This young man has a sweet expression with a nice ear set although would prefer slightly less round eye. Nice pigment. I found him to have a nice coat coming through of correct texture. In stance, he appears well balanced although wasn’t moving as well as 1 today.

3. Altina’s Kentucky At Styalways

Class 9 – Post Graduate Dog

1. Pennygown Tiktok. 2 years. Ideal size and well balanced. Pleasing head with nice dark eye, good pigment and nice ear. I found his movement to be good although slightly erratic at times which could make it difficult to assess fully.

Class 10 – Limit Dog

1. Rostellars Super Sonic. 2 years. Found his head qualities pleasing with a beautiful eye, ear and expression. He was well balanced and his conformation was as I’d hoped, he moved well in all directions. Beautifully harsh coat with a well carried tail thanks to his its correct high set. RDCC.

2. Styalways I’m Still Standing. 2.5 years. Nicely balanced young man with an excellent coat of correct texture and high tail set. He had a good head and expression although found his eye a little round and would’ve liked to have seen more of his ears. His movement was good, albeit a little wide in front at times.

3. Klassna Touch Of Magic

Res. Divinity Rising From Ashes At Altina

VHC. Born To Win Junassminis With Kineticpoms (Imp LVA)

Class 11 – Open Dog

1. Klassna Man Of Mystery. 4 years. A super honest boy who I found to hold himself well both in stance and movement, he’s larger in size but this didn’t detract from his qualities. Such a handsome expression with nice eye and ear. He has the hugest of coats that was of lovely harsh texture with a nice high tail set. He moved well in all directions.

2. Altina’s Viva Las Vegas At Breezelyn. 2 years. He has a nice head and expression with good eye and slightly larger ear which could’ve been used more at times. Coat of good quality although I would prefer to see him carrying more. He has a nice high tail set, good plume and made a lovely shape when stood. Moved nicely in all directions.

3. Styalways Here I Am

Class 12 – Special Beginners Dog

1. Royalkapoms Magic Onyx By Larosapearl – see 2 JD

2. Burraland’s Touch Of Magic. 14 months and of larger size however he was nicely balanced. He had a nice expression and ear of slightly larger size. Coat as expected for his age and it was of lovely colour. Sadly, he wasn’t being very co-operative with his handler on the move today.

Class 13 – Veteran Bitch

Class 14 – Minor Puppy Bitch

1. Lilrosa’s Solo. 8 months old. She’s a baby of good size however slightly longer than I’d prefer. Her head is pretty with a nice foxy expression, slightly round in eye. She has a lovely thick coat for her age which is just starting to change. Moved well although slightly wide in front at times.

Class 15 – Puppy Bitch

1. Oraysha New Romance At Diemzs. 10 months. Lovely, rich harsh coat for her age with a high set tail and nice plume. She had a good head and expression with nice ear although these could be slightly smaller. She is nicely balanced standing within her frame. I found her to move well, light and freely. BPB & RBPIS.

2. Breezelyn Tarka Moonshine. 8 months. She had the sweetest of heads with nice eye and ear. She was balanced and presented herself nicely in stance. Nice coat for her age. Sound rear however found her quite high stepping in front.

3. Lilrosa’s Solo

Class 16 – Junior Bitch

1. In Time Poms Daydream Believer (Imp BGR) NAF. 13 months. She has an attractive head with nice expression, good eye and ear. She is balanced and constructed well, standing within her frame, nice harsh coat with high set tail. She moved Ok however was quite erratic at times which made it a little untidy.

2. Diemzs Noble Soul. 14 months. Preferred the head of 1. She held herself well and was balanced. Not in full coat today however a nice new coat appears to be coming through, she has a lovely full plume. Her movement was Ok.

3. Burraland’s Time To Dream

Res. Black Illusion

Class 17 – Yearling Bitch

1. Diemzs Noble Soul – see 2 JB

Class 18 – Novice Bitch

1. Burraland’s Cheery Blossom. 15 months. A shy little girl who needs more confidence. She has a foxy expression with nice dark eye and good pigment. Not in full coat today and she wasn’t on best form when moving, tail not used to advantage at times.

Class 19 – Post Graduate Bitch

1. Amardica Firefly Of Dreams JW. 2 years. I found her to have a lovely head and expression with good eye and ear set, a slightly smaller ear size would’ve been preferred. She is constructed well and this was evident in her positive movement, straight and free. Her coat is of good texture and she has a lovely plume which she used well.

2. Diemzs Noble Soul – see 2 JB

3. Craigivar Black Bramble

Res. Pennygown Atomic Kitten

VHC. Cherry Lady Ko To Ra To Burraland

Class 20 – Limit Bitch

1. Yoshipom Destiny Calls BEL JCH MJW’23 EJW’23 DJW’23. 3.5 years. She is very pretty however would’ve preferred a slightly smaller eye and ear, set was good. She was nicely balanced and held herself well in stance. Her movement was Ok, she could move wide at times behind.

2. Cherry Lady Ko To Ra To Burraland. 3 years. Girl on the larger size. She has a sweet head and foxy expression. Nice thick, harsh coat. Movement was varied at times; slightly wide in front and crabbing.

Class 21 – Open Bitch

1. CH In Time Poms New Beginnings At Diemzs (Imp BGR) JW. 2 years. She is an incredibly honest, dual-purpose bitch. She has such a pretty head with good eye and ear. Her conformation was ideal and I found her to be very well-balanced standing within her frame at all times demanding you take note. Her movement was pleasing to watch, so straight, true and free. She has a mature coat of correct texture with a high tail set and beautiful plume. BCC & RBIS.

2. CH Altina’s Georgia On My Mind At Breezelyn. 19 months. Another lovely example of the breed; there really wasn’t much to split 1 and 2 even though they’re of different type. She has a sweet head with correct eye and ear. I found her to be well balanced and in stance, she holds herself so well. Liked her movement in profile and she had a strong rear, just a little untidy in front. She has a lovely coat of correct texture and a plume that finishes the picture nicely. RBCC.

3. Trenarwyn Catherine Wheel At Sharhazlah

4. Lex Fati Junassland With Kineticpoms (Imp LVA)
