BSB 1409 - Mariposa Cavalier's Pico Bello at Hamhoggs (Imp Pol) (Mrs F & Mr D Hamilton & Hogg)

Rather a mixed bag, but pleased with my overall winners. Movement seems to be a problem particularly in the rear.

1310. Cavalier King Charles Spaniel - Minor Puppy Dog

Entries: 3 Absentees: 1

1ST 1414 - Chantismere Matthieu Arama at Moorfields RAF (Mr R C & Mrs K H Lamont)

B/T very nice baby liked him for size and overall balance, lovely head and expression where he scored over the second dark eye and good pigment, clean neck and shoulders. Good bone and feet, body is well made with and he has a good topline which he maintains on the move. He has good quarters and moves with purpose both ways. Should do well.

2ND 1441 - Llapsttam Philanderer (Mr M & Mr M Spall & Clark)

Blenheim, not the head of the winner but I liked him for size, very raw at the moment compared to the winner, just needs more time to fulfil his potential. He did move quite well when he got into his stride.

1311. Cavalier King Charles Spaniel - Puppy Dog

Entries: 3 Absentees: 0

1ST 1427 - Jernito King of Hearts (Mrs J Nolan)

Scores for size and balance, he has a lovely outline with a great forehand and equally good behind, masculine head with soft expression. Good neck and shoulders with sufficient bone body developing along correct lines. OK topline maintained on the move, moved with sufficient drive and reach both ways.

2ND 1448 - Tebaldi Bohemian Rhapsody (Mr C & Mr K Wilkins & Wilcock)

Ruby loved his head but a little rangy at the moment needs to drop into himself, and body up where he lost out to the winner, that said he moves quite well both ways.

3RD 1394 - Charnavale Touch of Charm at Remmya (Mrs E Bennett)

1312. Cavalier King Charles Spaniel - Junior Dog

Entries: 4 Absentees: 0

1ST 1422 - Lovetrac Beckham (Mr P F Lovel)

Loved his overall size and balance a real toy spaniel, beautiful head large expressive eyes well set ears excellent pigment. Good for bone and feet he has well set shoulders and his body is deep with good ribbing he has strong quarters and good muscle tone. His tail is well set and carried. He has the correct coat and is a good colour, he moved very well out and back and looked great in profile. He is very attentive to his handler and looks the part delighted to award him the CC lost out fo the bitch as he needs to tighten a little in top line.

2ND 1409 - Mariposa Cavalier's Pico Bello at Hamhoggs (Imp Pol) (Mrs F & Mr D Hamilton & Hogg)

This dog has great substance to the body but is a tad overdone in head for me, he handles well with good angulation to front and rear needs to settle in movement.

3RD 1415 - Moorfields Lochlann (Mr R C & Mrs K H Lamont)

RES 1397 - Ardgrove Daydream Believer Ir Jch (Mr P Carthy)

1313. Cavalier King Charles Spaniel - Yearling Dog

Entries: 4 Absentees: 2

1ST 1443 - Kinvaar Imperial Flame (Dr J Spiers)

Tricolour handy for size but a little long in loin. He has a masculine head with excellent eyes and pigment. Strong bone and good feet along with good angulation fore and aft. He moved well with a firm topline maintained on the move.

2ND 1409 - Mariposa Cavalier's Pico Bello at Hamhoggs (Imp Pol) (Mrs F & Mr D Hamilton & Hogg)

1314. Cavalier King Charles Spaniel - Novice Dog

Entries: 2 Absentees: 0

1ST 1442 - Llapsttam Techno Notice (Mr M & Mr M Spall & Clark)

B/T good size and balance over the second, ok eye and head properties well set ear used to advantage, firm well made body and outmoved the second. Whilst this is not a trimmed breed he would benefit from his feet being tided up a little.

2ND 1419 - Reineta True Fantazia (Ms K Lillington)

Bigger type but has lots to like he would benefit from more angulation to the rear but he is very sound inclined to tuck himself up when stacked which spoils his outline.

1ST 1437 - Stonepit Into The Blue (Mrs D Searle)

Heavily marked Blenheim, very typical and a lovely size, looks great when stacked lovely head with large dark eyes excellent pigmentation, well laid shoulders clean neck and excellent top line, which he maintained on the move. Body is well developed with good ribbing. Nice angulation to the rear. He moves very well but lacked a little animation.

2ND 1429 - Calonlan Zeus JW (Mrs C A & Mr A M & Miss L J Rhodes)

T/Colour very good overall balance and lovely eyes providing for a good expression first rate pigmentation. Well made body which he uses well on the move which was sound and purposeful.

1ST 1440 - Ch Llapsttam Luther Vandross JW (Mr M & Mr M Spall & Clark)

Ruby out of the top draw, he has a lovely outline when stacked which he maintains on the move. Lovely head and expression well set ear. He scores for angulation in front along with good bone and feet. Body is well made with a good toplline and strong quarters. He moves extremely well with good reach and sufficient drive. Inclined to lift his tail a little on the move which cost him a higher award so RCC but close decision I liked him a lot.

2ND 1399 - Ch Ellemich American Express (Mrs M & Miss T Chapman & Ireland)

I have previously given this dog a major award and continue to rate him highly in every respect. He has done much to raise the breed’s profile. However, at six, he is beginning to lose some lustre and rather bored moved rather wide in front today.

3RD 1421 - Ch Lovetrac Banksy (Mr P F Lovel)

RES 1403 - Ir Ch Rathbrist Rewrite The Stars (Mrs C & Miss M Conlon & Kotani)

1ST 1400 - Ellemich Love Letter (Mrs M & Miss T Chapman & Ireland)

This one scored in substance and body development over the second today, pretty head with good bone and feet, clean neck and shoulders and equally well angulated to the rear. Smart mover both ways very promising baby.

2ND 1416 - Korraines Baby Love at Revaelann (Mrs A & Miss T Leaver & Gresty)

T/C rather raw as to be expected and not as developed in head as the winner, moved very well both ways just needs time.

1322. Cavalier King Charles Spaniel - Puppy Bitch

Entries: 4 Absentees: 0

1ST 1435 - Cavallibrook Ezperanza (Mrs K F Ryan)

Such a promising youngster lovely size and balance, feminine head dark eyes and good pigment. She has enough bone and good feet, well angulated front and rear and body is already firm with good ribbing. First rate top line her coat is well broken and of good colour. She moves very well for a baby, lots of promise in this one. Best Puppy

2ND 1449 - Dinitro's Opalite Sky (Mrs T & Mr G Willis)

Well made Ruby size bigger perhaps not as feminine in the head as the winner or collected on the move needs lots of time but has plenty of time.

3RD 1431 - Kringleholme Mystere (Mrs M E Richardson)

RES 1412 - Granasil Incantations (Mr R & Mrs L A Kilcoyne)

1ST 1398 - Ardgrove Take My Breath Away Jun Ch Int Jch (Mr P Carthy)

Sweet head with dark eyes and well set ears used to advantage, bang on for size she is well constructed and has a well made body with good muscle tone, she maintains a firm top line when on the move which is positive with good reach and drive.

2ND 1396 - Moorfields Maple (Mrs E Byers)

A little long in loin for complete balance and not the front assembly of the winner, that said she is very sound out and back on the move.

3RD 1451 - Fortunamajor Cast A Spell at Myloglenn (Mrs H Wright)

RES 1417 - Revaelann Gift from Heaven (Mrs A & Miss T Leaver & Gresty)

Entries: 1 Absentees: 0

1ST 1401 - Ellemich You Make Me Blush (Mrs M & Miss T Chapman & Ireland)

Alone but of high quality as to be expected from this kennel, she is great for balance and a lovely size with great expression, well set ears and clean neck and shoulders. She is equally good to the rear and very stylish wjhen stacked and on the move. Nothing to dislike and am sure will have a bright future when fully mature. RCC

Entries: 3 Absentees: 1

2ND 1417 - Revaelann Gift from Heaven (Mrs A & Miss T Leaver & Gresty)

T/C a little rangier than the winner and would prefer stronger bone moved soundly.

1ST 1434 - Cavallibrook Beatrice (Mrs K F Ryan)

Blenheim rich colour, loved her overall size and little to dislike in most departments gave her handler a hard time both stacked and on the move but won here for balance over the other two.

2ND 1444 - Kinvaar's Strawberry Tart (Dr J Spiers)

Ruby nice overall size but a little long in loin which makes her appear a little unbalanced, she does however handle well and moved soundly both ways.

1328. Cavalier King Charles Spaniel - Limit Bitch
