COLLIE (ROUGH)

My first CC appointment in the breed with an entry of 55 . Whereas I was happy to make up two champions on the day, I was rather disappointed with the overall quality. I had a number of males who were too feminine and lacked size and bone. Bitches were overall better. Some specimens tended to be rather short in body and hence did not have the ideal proportions of the breed.

Class SBD/B (2 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: MASON, Mrs Kelly Elshajo Bold Over For Lynocean, three year old s/w feminine bitch. Nice head, good eye and expression as well as well carried ears. Rather light bone. Well bodied, but needs a better front. Moved well in profile. Best Special Beginner

2nd: BERRY, Mr James 'twas Baron Of Virginia (imp Usa), two year old tricolor dog of mediocre type. Would like to see better balance. Unfortunately his coat was not in show condition and needs thorough brushing. Needs to improve on the move.

1st: WILLIAMS, Mrs Jo Mejola Endeavour, 14 month old s/w masculine junior dog. Head has a good profile, but he is a little deep in skull. Very well set and carried ears. Well made body. Moved well.

2nd: LOCKYER, Mrs Melissa Gataj Just Like Jesse James, 16 month old dog, who is a little feminine and needs more size. Beautiful head with correct lines. Eye a little small. Well-made, but would like more of him. Moved nicely.

Class YD (2 Entries) Abs: 1

1st: MOREY, Mrs Lorraine Katherine Brookynut Clyde Barrow, 13 month old s/w masculine young dog. Quality, typical head, very good eye and expression, well carried ears, Well made front and body. Moderate rear angulation. A little lazy on the move. Just acceptable tail carriage.

1st: HAWKINS, Mrs Susan Mary Serenlas Black Magic, five and half year old masculine tricolor male of very pleasing type and make. Excellent head with good dark eye and expression, well carried ears. Nice bone, well made body. Pleasing sound mover. Res.CC 

2nd: TILLEY, Miss Rachel Gemheid May'd Of Amber For Detillio, two year old male, unfortunately very out of coat, but with very good construction and movement. Head just a little coarse and deep in skull. Could use his ears to better advantage.

3rd: TOOGOOD, Mr H L P & TOOGOOD, Mrs A Hanvale Ralph Lauren Jw

1st: BLAIKIE, Mr R Kourika The ' Gigolo ', three year old quality blue merle dog. Excellent type and outline. Shown in very good condition. Excellent outline. Dignified male. Quality head, excellent parallel lines and correct length. Very good eye and expression, well carried neat ears. Sound mover. Beautiful blue colour. CC – his third, congratulations!

2nd: PAGE, Mrs Ann Lynmead Prince Charming, three year old s/w male of very nice type, but would like slightly better proportions. Excellent head, typical eye and very good expression. Very good bone. Sound mover, acceptable tail carriage.

1st: DROUGGE, Mrs Anne-Marie DK Ch Int Ch NL Ch Norsk Ch Belrosa Always On My Mind, eight year old masculine s/w veteran male shown in excellent condition and very soundly made. He has an excellent body and quarters. His head is rather long and somewhat coarse. Excellent mover. Shown in beautiful coat condition.

1st: GRAY-RAMSDEN, Mrs S L Takhisis Lady Is A Tramp, eight month old tricolor bitch puppy. Feminine and very nicely made. Very nice head, dark eye, but expression could be softer. Very good bone. Sound mover.

2nd: MASON, Mrs Kelly Lynocean Loves Casts A Spell, nine month old s/w feminine puppy who needs better bone. Nice head, but lacks fill under the eye, well carried ears. Eye a little small. Front needs time. She also needs more training on the move

1st: LOCKYER, Mrs Melissa Gataj Miss Sparkles, nine month old pretty s/w puppy shown in good condition. Feminine puppy who has good proportions and is soundly made. Head promises well, eye a tad small. Pleasing mover. Best Puppy

1st: LOCKYER, Mrs Melissa Your Majesty Angel Silvestre At Gataj (imp Bel), 16 month old,very feminine beautiful young bitch. Excels in head qualities, eye and expression. Very good bone. Nicely made and moved soundly. Excellent coat condition.

2nd: TOOGOOD, Mr H L P & TOOGOOD, Mrs A Yvaine Angel Silvestre At Hagneetat (Imp Bel), of the same age as 1st., s/w of very nice type. Beautiful feminine head, correct planes, good eye and expression. Front needs to stabilize. Moves well for age.

3rd: WARE, Mrs D Millubie Parachute Over To Wassail (imp Serb)

1st: LOCKYER, Mrs Melissa Gataj All That Glitters, two year old s/w, feminine bitch shown in excellent condition. Quality head, eye and expression, but needs better ears. Very soundly made, good body and quarters. Excellent mover.

2nd: GRAINGER, Miss A Ballahanna Bespoke For Samhaven, just over two year old s/w bitch shown a tad plump. A little reluctant on the day. Very nice type and soundly made. Quality feminine head of good length and correct shape. Pleasing eye and expression. Not keen on the move.

3rd: SHIPP, Mr Robert Paul & SHIPP, Mrs Margaret Tremaro Million Dollar Baby

1st: LOCKYER, Mrs Melissa Gataj Exotic Girl, two year old s/w typical very nice quality bitch. Pleasing head, eye and expression, but needs better set ears. She is very well made and has a good body on her. Shown in good coat. Moved well.

2nd: PATMAN, Mrs E Riverside Song Ice Cream Girl (imp Rom), six year old bitch not in ideal coat condition and somewhat smutty colour. Her type and outline are good. Pleasing head, but ears widely set. Good bone. Nice bone. Adequate movement.

3rd: MOREY, Mrs Lorraine Katherine Brookynut Bonnie Parker

1st: FLOWER, Mrs Stefani Serenlas Pumpkin Spice JW, almost five year old very pleasing s/w feminine bitch full of quality. Lovely type and very well made. Feminine head of correct shape and length, excellent eye and expression. Would like slightly better ears. Quality bone and good body. Very correct coat quality showing her very nice outline. Very good mover. An excellent breed representative. CC & Best of Breed I understand this was her third CC, so another champion made up in the breed today! Congratulations.

2nd: WARE, Mrs D Wassail Call The Midwife, six year old s/w feminine bitch, who is also of very good breed type. Pleasing quality head, lovely eye and expression, well carried ears. Very good bone. Excellent neck and topline. Pleasing outline. Sound and true in her movement.

3rd: GARABELLI, Mrs Maria Teresa Slo Ch Int Ch L'incredibile Blu Di Cambiano Di Cam

Beautiful feminine head, good eye and expression, decent ears. Quality bone. Very soundly made and an excellent mover. Beautiful blue colour. Res. CC & Best Veteran

2nd: PATMAN, Mrs E & GRAINGER, Miss A Samhaven Sound Effects, eight year old s/w veteran bitch shown in excellent condition. Feminine of very nice type and pleasing outline. Very good head, eye a little small. Very well put together and sound on the move.

3rd: LYALL, Mrs H Santaloly's Sky Amidalas VW ShCEx
